Little Red Cottage is a masterfully designed tiny home ideally located in the heart of the island, minutes from shops, restaurants & the beach. Our place is just a few miles from the Fauntleroy/Vashon ferry terminal, and minutes from the town of Vashon. Tucked snuggly on the West side of the island, the cabin looks west over Colvos Passage. The cabin itself is essentially a spacious studio-- one large room with a loft, a small kitchen, and bathroom. A queen size bed is in the loft, and the couch comfortably sleeps one person. The bathroom has a large clawfoot soaking tub, and there is an outdoor shower. It is extremely cozy!

Bright cozy studio cottage on the north end of Vashon. Puget Sound, Mount Baker and nature views. Newly renovated throughout with large deck to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and water views. Quiet neighborhood within 10-15min walking distance to and from the ferry (note there is an incline as we are on the hill above). Deer, hawks, eagles and more surround the property. Come enjoy a local jewel and experience small island living, just a 20 minute ferry ride away from Seattle!

A great location for access to the wonders of Puget Sound and the Olympic Peninsula. Located 7 minutes away from the Ferry, which makes for an easy commute to downtown Seattle. We are also close to Hwy 16, which takes you across Hood Canal to the Olympic Peninsula, for great day-trips to this spectacular part of the state. We are located across the from Banner Forest Heritage Park, a 636-acre wildlife preserve which included miles of biking and walking trails.

Private beach cabin, Vashon Island

Charming private Vashon beach cottage. Get away from it all, unless you need it all, in which case you'd probably be happier in downtown Seattle. There's beach access and plenty of quiet at night. You can hear the water, the marine life and the birds. Vashon town is about 7 miles. Plenty of restaurants and interesting small shops. Pt. Robinson lighthouse is a short beach walk away. These pictures were taken early summer but some guests enjoy the winter.
