Family-friendly vacation rentals in Fougères

Our stay brought us the calm we needed. The house was perfect for our family of 5 (children aged 9, 11 and 16). The kitchen is very well-equipped and very clean. The games room is very nice and much appreciated😉. I'm not going to be original: Anne-Marie and Damien's ice cream are a delight! Special mention for dark chocolate/raspberry recommended by Damien. Milk milk: a 😋 return to my childhood. Being able to walk around the farm and pet the vineyards and cows as if we were at home was a privilege. Thanks to Anne-Marie and Damien. We will be back!

Very welcoming host, with a beautiful warm and modern house. A beautiful garden with hot tub and children's games. Very clean, tidy and top-notch for children or elderly people. And the little plus baby essentials with cutlery, high chair, bed and baby bath. In short, go there without a second thought, you have to do it again:)

Sublime house, super equipped, in a peaceful setting...very nice from the hot tub. Ideal for exploring the bay of Mt Saint Michel.

Thanks to Michel and his son for the great welcome. The accommodation was excellent, the yurt is beautiful and we enjoy in parallel the comfort of a real bathroom and toilet. Not to mention the hot tub, ping pong table, and pond! We were able to spend some time with the alpacas who are shy but very cute. We kept distance so as not to scare them. there was also a bocce field that we didn't have time to test. The accommodation is very well thought out, and there are lots of delicate touches for our comfort and convenience. Thank you so much for the change of scenery! See you soon!

Hilaire's place is very nice and offers many appreciable amenities: games for children outside, bike rental, enough to make meals, etc. Hilaire gives us a lot of information about the environment of the accommodation and activities to do which is a plus. We had a pleasant stay. The only small downside are the tenants above who were noisy but fortunately only stayed one night.

Very nice stay. The house was very clean, spacious and the bed is large and comfortable. It also has a completely enclosed outdoor garden where our dog could run a bit. Freddy was very helpful at all times, worrying about if we were comfortable and giving us recommendations for places to visit close to the house. To visit the Monte St Michel, the location of the house is perfect because it is only 4km away. We will definitely repeat in this home if we come back in this area.

Very beautiful place in quiet surroundings. The view towards Mont St Michel is amazing and completely free. The garden is large and the house as well. We were two adults and three children with ample space. Nice driveway and easy to find. We enjoyed the tranquility and enjoyed the little bakery in the city within walking distance, but didn't have time to try the one local restaurant. Consider bringing wellies for walking out towards the marsh and water. It may be muddy. A great base for discoveries in the area including of course Mont St Michel, but also other sights in Normandy/Brittany.

Extraordinarily beautiful home, with stunning flowers surrounding the house and in vases inside the house. The furnishings welcoming and super comfy throughout. I can’t rate this home highly enough for what we wanted.

What a beautiful place to stay! The chateaux and grounds all around are beautifully renovated, pool was lovely. The house was so comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. Marie is a lovely host. So accommodating and helpful. The location of the house is perfect, the village of Combourg is lovely. Can’t wait to come back again.

The house was even better than what we were expecting. The pictures were not giving it justice. The calm provided by the surroundings was priceless. We were a bit sad to leave. My son even asked me if we could move there permanently. 😁

We had a wonderful stay at La Forge, we only wish we had had the time to stay longer. The house has an impressive feel when you enter, the rooms are spacious and well thought out. An en-suite per room was very convenient for our group and the kitchen was well equipped! The grounds also were spacious and offered an extremely relaxing, quiet environment. Our children loved the pool and used it multiple times a day! Margaret was very informative with local information, she was very friendly and responsive. We certainly hope to stay at La Forge again!

Quiet accommodation in a stone longhouse, very well located 30 min from Mont Saint Michel and 30 min from Saint Malo. Good restaurants around the place and a host of good tips and very responsive.

We were in (big) family to celebrate our parents/ grandparents' 80th birthday. Close to Rennes (30 min), the "closerie" is a magical place by the beauty of its buildings and its park, which perfectly met our expectations. Large tables on covered terraces, fun and sporting activities around the pool and in the park, nearby walks on the locks of the Rance,... Spacious, very clean and very well equipped, the enclosure is a turnkey place to take "the key to the fields" With a little extra: Daniele's warm and caring welcome!

This was the second time we stayed at Gaelle’s for a large family gathering (4 adults 6 kids), which really says it all. The grounds are gorgeous with lots of space for kids to safely run around. There is a large kitchen and dining area perfect for family meals of local products. There were more than enough clean spacious sleeping areas and bathrooms and we also made full use of the pool. The location is peaceful and secluded, but not too far from shops and restaurants. It’s also a great base from which to explore the Mt Saint Michel area, seaside towns like Cancale, and the D-day historic sites (about a 1-1.5 hr drive). Really a great place!
