Martin and Nadja were very welcoming and friendly hosts. The house is immaculate, newly refurbished and very clean. Lovely location by the lake and just a couple of minutes’ walk to the ferry. We were completely happy with the place in Gavirate. As a family we had plenty of space, direct access to the garden and the apartment has everything you need incl. Entertainment material for the kids. The location is quiet and perfect for us as a base for excursions in the area around Varese. We did not meet Matteo on site, but communication with him was straightforward and helpful.

I spent three months in the fall / winter in Gandria to work at rest. The village is very picturesque, very relaxing to live there and yet you can stop there, especially recommended the bodega in the village - the apartment is simply fantastic, very nice and lovingly furnished with many details - highly recommended, definitely come back

Excellent spot with a beautiful view. Plenty of room for 2 people. Kitchen is well equipped to cook home cooked meal and enjoy the beauty of the lake. Check in was smooth and Gian welcomed us and showed us around. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic experience at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The bottle of wine and cake was a nice touch! The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the local area and we enjoyed the morning walks on the beach with the dog. We especially loved the cozy atmosphere and the thoughtful touches throughout the space, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Ticino. We highly recommend the Restaurant Rodolfo across the street.

My husband and I are moving to Arona, this was a 2nd fact finding mission, we were in Bari at the beginning of the trip, I wish we would have just stayed at Claudias (my husband too) the entire time! She is an excellent host! Gorgeous property and Sesta Calenda is a short distance to Arona! We will definitely book again, when we came back to close on our new place! Thank you Claudia!!!!

It is a very cozy country house in the middle of the mountains on a small winery. We immediately fell in love with this location. The view of the mountains, Lake Maggiore hidden behind palm trees and pampas grass and the Verzasca dam is sensational. It was clean and everything you could need was there. A bit difficult to find, but thanks to Alberto's accessibility by phone, it went very well. A parking space is also available. You have great hiking opportunities, which Alberto sent us as a recommendation. In nearby Gordola you will also find everything you need. We are very happy to come back. If you walk to Porta Rossa, it's like going into a little fairytale world. Resiga is small and homely, with many alleys, plants, and no matter where you look, you discover something new on every corner. The apartment is located in a very old house and lovingly furnished, a highlight is the romantic courtyard. There is plenty of parking either directly on the lake or slightly up the mountain (each about a 3-minute walk incl. Stairs). The location is very quiet, the equipment perfectly sufficient and the bed very comfortable. There were even heatable in the beds for the cold autumn nights. You can quickly reach the region around Intra by car from where many ferry connections leave, a pizzeria is within walking distance. Birgit was always accommodating and easily accessible. We were very happy to immerse ourselves in the fairytale world of Resiga and highly recommend it to everyone! :)
