Visited for my finances birthday. We had a really good time in this space. The front door is right off a Main Street but the street is very quiet and welcoming. I initially expected there to be a large view of the lake but it was in between houses only visible through one window. Overall as a black homosexual person I felt welcomed and wasn’t discriminated against in the area. Very clean space and nice amount of room. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen came equipt with every thing needed. The extra beach supplies were also a plus. Wonderful stay. 10/10.

My partner and I were looking for an affordable, close, beach getaway when we came across this beautiful resort. We initially booked in for 2 nights and ended up extending our trip twice because of how much fun we were having. We stayed in cottage number 5 first, and then moved to #4 since 5 was booked. The cottages were clean, and cozy with a rustic yet modern feel. They were perfect. The seating area by the stairs that lead to the beach looks and feels like a tropical paradise. There’s a big cabana with palm trees, a long outdoor wooden dinner table, a place to play corn hole, and they even had guitars available for guests to play. The beach was amazing. The water was warm and calm. The sand was soft and white, and there is tons of seating provided by the resort. The staff refill the fire wood for camp fires every day and come by in the mornings to make sure the property is clean for guests. I was extremely impressed with how attentive all of the staff were. We absolutely loved our time at Anu’s lakeside cottage. We felt right at home. The lake was gorgeous and sounded like the ocean. The waves never stopped and the wind kept the bugs away. We enjoyed our evenings around the fire and bbq’d every night. The stars didn’t disappoint, there was very little light pollution! Oh and the sunsets were amazing. The cottage was homey, yet spacious and very comfortable. We slept so well, and it was great having a spare room for the two pack’n plays for our twins. It was our first getaway as a family of four and we hope to book there again next year!

Great location. Close to water. It was fun to walk across the street to the Thursday night Supper Market. My husband got to reconnect with friends from 55 years ago!! People were very friendly in Crystal Beach and area. We liked Kaelti's place. Kitchen is cute but has minimal pots and pans, but enough for our stay. The bed was okay, but we are used to a fancy mattress. The house was very clean. We would stay again!
