Vacation rentals in Fort Ashby

Our group of 8 had a wonderful stay for a short weekend getaway. Even though the weather wasn't great, Susan's place was so lovely and had plenty of space for everyone to play games or to get some time away for a nap in another room. We were happy just hanging out there much of the time! When it warmed up on our 2nd day the deck was another great space to use, with a beautiful view of the lake. We look forward to booking again sometime this summer and bringing our canoe! thanks again!

Very nice place. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I actually pulled a sheet up so I could see the brand so I could buy one for my own home.. lol.

Upon arrival we were impressed with the clean, open space. Teresa attention to detail was obvious. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were inviting and peaceful. We were able to grill out back and enjoyed the sunshine. A walk to town was delightful. The made from scratch Wild Roots cafe was delicious. Try their cinnamon rolls. The shoppers in the family enjoyed discovering a treasure at the local thrift/variety shop and the White House boutique. We plan to return for a ride on the Potomac Eagle when it’s running.

We had a great stay here for a spring break family getaway. We were a family of six adults and two young children. The kids loved the hot tub and arcade game and the community pool. Everyone enjoyed the deck and scenic views. The house was clean and exactly as described. The kitchen was very well stocked. We would come back here!

Stacy was such an accommodating host!! She was extremely easy to communicate with and very responsive! The house was very clean and cozy! The hot tub was also extremely clean!! Would absolutely book this house again!

Thank you for such an amazing stay! Your home was incredibly warm and welcoming for me and my family—we truly didn’t want to leave. The area was so peaceful and relaxing. We’ll definitely be booking again!

We had a wonderful weekend at Whispering Pines. The home had beautiful views, great lake access, and was the perfect distance from the restaurants and shops. We visited in the off season so there were not a lot of boats out and it was very quiet. There were some light bulbs out and things of that nature, but again, it was the off season. Everything about the home was perfect and allowed us to get away and truly just enjoy ourselves. I would definitely be interested in staying here again in the future.

The condo was amazing very roomy with two bedrooms. The second bedroom is accessible via a spiral staircase. I would stay there again. Dutch's Restaurant is next door and is highly recommended. The lake views are awesome from the Silver Tree and Dutch's decks. Keith is a great host and was very helpful with communication prior to arrival.
