Family-friendly vacation rentals in Forsyth County

My partner and I stayed here as a surprise to reconnect and unwind. It was delightful and perfect. We loved the creek, trail to the mill, hot tub, fireplace, and coziness. We also loved reading the guestbook in the cabin and found it so interesting how many anniversaries have been celebrated here and especially the number of special reconnections people have made in this sweet cabin. We recommend the nearby hike to Carter Falls. We would definitely come back.

Rebecca was the perfect host for our stay in Greensboro. The home was in the perfect location and totally exceeded our expectation. Rebecca was very flexible and always responded to my questions and request within 30 mins or less. This was a beautiful modern home as described with all the amenities. True Oasis for the weekend. I would definitely rent again when visiting the area.

This is the place to go to pull away from the noise and clutter of your day to day living and just relax! From the rocking chairs to hot tub to porch swings to walking trails that lead to the creek, everything works together to create peace. This home is outdoors, in nature, and so serene. I highly recommend this location for a much needed secluded vacation getaway!! It's beautiful!

Great location, extremely private and beautiful. Close to the town of Elkin and several local restaurants. Recommended ones were great . Quiet and a great place

From walking into the bed filled with rose petals to, relaxing in the secluded hot tub and cabin in the woods we truly enjoyed our short little honeymoon stay! I would highly recommend this cabin to others that are looking for a relaxing romantic getaway.

We had such a good experience, the host had a crew come and shovel the snow on the steps and put down ice melt. We loved the mugs we could purchase for a memento (we got 4). The hot tub was really nice because it was not only private but only a few feet away from the warm house.

We had a beautiful, peaceful, restful stay at Frog Holler. We even saw some frogs! This is our favorite place to stay in Elkin so far.

Omega & Jeff were very kind & thoughtful. So were the towns folks. I forgot a medication & my husband needed first aid when he fell. Two women were standing nearby. They got what we needed from Elk Pharmacy. The pharmacist was great. The whole town had that "small town feeling." I would love to go back to the Seaford's home again sometime.

The cabin and the property are beautiful. All of us ( 3 generations) found the house perfect! It could not have been better. Everything that we needed was present and shopping was not a problem. The house is clean and well set up with space between the bedrooms and baths which gave all of us privacy. The walk to the pond was fun and good exercise. Having our dog with us was an added bonus. It is an amazing place.

This place is amazing. Easily the most stocked, well maintained, clean, cozy BNB I have stayed. Highly recommend Preston’s place to anyone. Absolutely fantastic.

We loved staying at the Rob Walker house. The location was perfect for us. We like to walk to the nearby restaurants. The kitchen was nice, and it was great to have three bathrooms in the house. The fenced in backyard was convenient for our dog. Michelle communicated well with us, and we had had a wonderful trip.

The only thing that would improve the cabin is to have the indoor fireplace work and a TV for viewing.

Chris is a fantastic host and a great communicator. The home is perfect for a family stay in the Greensboro area as it is comfortable and very convenient to town. The kitchen is large and open, with an attached to a breakfast area and family room with a fireplace. We had everything we needed to prepare meals and enjoy our relaxing downtime. The backyard view and the attached deck are added bonuses. We would have enjoyed using the outside furniture and fire pit, but the weather did not cooperate since it rained when we arrived and even snowed while we were there. We had a great time making final preparations for our daughter's wedding while staying at Chris' home and being together as a family for this special weekend. We stay for a short period as we worked near by and wish it was longer. This home had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommended. Thank you Daniel and Ann!

Great place for market!

Jane’s place was exactly as advertised and great value. Set in a quiet street but near to all amenities. We were visiting our son at university which is close by so it was a perfect location. Host was very informative and approachable and responsive to our needs. We arrived in autumn as the leaves were changing so it was a beautiful setting

House was great, pretty private, great pool. Lots of space for the family and there were snacks out for us which everyone really enjoyed. Had everything we needed for our stay. The only negative about the house was listed no pets. But there clearly were pets that lived there. Being highly allergic to animals with fur that probably would have not chosen that location. I needed to medicate the whole time. Other than that the home was what we needed.

This house has a very historic and comfortable feel. Beautiful bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen and lots of dining space for a large group. It has quiet country charm. Our family loved coming together here for Thanksgiving.

The cottage is a beautiful escape into an quieter and simpler way of life. Well equipped. Easy commute to the transportation museum, downtown shops and restaurants and wineries. Our second stay, and the whole family had another truly remarkable experience. Will be back 💕
