Private suite vacation rentals in Forest

The perfect place to hide and get my work done. I like that I had my privacy, but wasnt completely alone since it was attached to a main house. Alone, walking into someone's back yard at midnight to access the back door was a little creepy. But the porch was very well-lit and exactly as described. Plan for drinking your coffee on the back deck to watch the wildlife. The room has two mugs, coffee, and sugar. It wascreally nice.

A big apartment with plenty of amenities. It really feels like home. Communication with the host was as smooth as possible. Strong Wi-Fi signal everywhere. A great vacation place. The only issue for some is that it is far from everything, without a car, restaurants, groceries, etc. are in reality out of reach, at least with a small child.

Matthew went above and beyond to welcome me and make me feel right at home. The setup and layout is great and had everything I needed and more. I’m so thankful for my time there and for Matthew’s care and thoughtfulness. He’s a great host and a great guy! I’ll definitely stay there again and will recommend to friends and family who visit the area..Thank you!

Wanda was the absolute best! We’ve stayed at many places in Lynchburg over the years. The Acorn Hill Lodge will be our go to spot from now on. From the super amazing cozy king size bed, to the absolutely delicious made to order complementary breakfast to our pup being welcomed like a member of the family. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Oh, and the spa!!! My daughter had the full body hot stone massage and was in heaven!! This place is a must!!

Melody was a great host! She was extremely responsive! Place was comfortable. It would be nice if the room with the appliances had a table to eat at. Was a great stay!

We have stayed at a lot of Airbnb properties over the years. Mountain View was GREAT!!! VERY Spacious and comfortable. The property had views that were terrific. Large open green meadow views to frame in the Peaks of Otter in the distance. Outside chairs make that view relaxing after exoring Lynchburg and surroundind towns like Bedford. Dedicated parking was convenient. Inside the property it is VERY Spacious and most comfortable. The property is perfect for a couple seeking relaxation and privacy. But because of it's Spacious Layout several couples can not feel crowded. This property and location was very accommodating and is a rare find and the hosts saw to our every need.

This is our third stay with Jennifer hosting. She always goes above and beyond to be helpful and hospitable. The space is just as it’s pictured and super clean. Such a cozy space that’s decorated to make you feel like it’s your home away from home. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Cheryl is a great host-thinking of everything. She has a great binder filled with local recommendations. Her place was immaculate! Thankfully, there were very clear instructions on how to use the locks on her door.

We were greeted upon arrival with a friendly face, as well as helpful hands. We wish we could have stayed longer and the weather was better. It would have been nice to take advantage of all that was offered. We enjoyed the vintage pinball machines and how comfortable this place was.

I was just in town for one evening before a conference at Liberty. Matthew & Kacey’s place was a perfect spot for the evening. It’s about 20 minutes from Liberty and an easy drive. The bed and sofa are both extremely comfortable! The place is very clean and pristine.

Great place to stay. It’s quite bigger than what you would expect. Host is very polite and responsive. Place was clean, just.. well if I had to say something about this place is that the TV and dryer didn’t work , but the host did t know about it soo can’t really blame him if he didn’t know. TV aside … it’s a great place to lay your head for a night or 2.

Enjoyed the novelty of the train and the modern industrial vibe. Cozy and well-stocked, it felt like staying at a family member's place. If I am ever in Appomattox again, I would love to stay here again!

John and Sharon were terrific hosts. They left a "Welcome" card with delicious muffins from a local bakery. We have stayed in many Airbnb's around the lake and this location has the best views we have seen. The interior looks brand new and updated, tasteful decor, and very comfortable bed. We found everything we needed to cook dinner both nights we stayed. We were given access to the Tiki Bar where we sat in comfortable outdoor furniture overlooking the lake. We sat with our coffee enjoying the cool morning, colorful Fall leaves and saw a mother and baby deer scamper across the backyard. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again!

A perfect private fully equipped apartment. Immaculately clean. You will love the backyard wooded area. Very much like a fully equipped cabin in the woods. The Lynchburg and surrounding areas have plenty to do. The host was amazing. Stay with Lori once and you will definitely want to return.

Had an amazing stay, Viviana was very responsive and accommodating and the upstairs residents were very respectful, helpful, and made us feel right at home. Any questions were answered very quickly and they are all very friendly people. Even helped to make accommodations when my returning flight was canceled. 5 stars, would stay here again.
