House vacation rentals in Forest of Fontainebleau

We (family of five) had a wonderful week in Blandy at July's house. July's parents met us on arrival and although our French is very poor they were very helpful and introduced us to the house. Through the week July was always quick to respond and kind in helping us with any questions. The house is a lovely home, beautifully designed and with lots for all the family to do. Our children particularly enjoyed using the bicycles, playing pool and relaxing in the hammocks and garden. Blandy is a very quiet and pretty village and we had a fantastic meal eating at the restaurant L'entourloupe adjacent to the tower. There is also a great takeaway pizzeria in the village, a small shop, another restaurant and a boulangerie. We found lots to do in the area including a day in Paris using the fast train from Melun (free parking at the municipal swimming pool), a day at Fontainebleu, and a picnic down at the banks of the Seine. We would happily recommend July's home to others.

The house is very beautiful, even more beautiful than the photos, located in the residency area with beautiful houses, very clean, private, and have complete amenities, we can find everything we needed. It's way more than we expected. Thanks, Jordan :)

We had a FANTASTIC 10 days at Samuel's place! We did a great mix of days in Paris (park at Bois du Roi then there are regular trains to Gare du Lyon which takes 35 minutes!!) and local days exploring the forest and Barbizon. We highly recommend Fontainebleau as a day out. The town is very pretty and the chateau is well worth a visit! The house has lots of space and great facilities. A well equipped kitchen and lovely outside space. The pool was a hit with our youngest but a bit cold for the adults! The house has lots of character and is well decorated throughout. The indoor swing was a lovely chill spot for children too. Although the house is in a quiet spot there are lots of shops close by. Check in was very straightforward and all the information was well communicated. I highly recommend this house. It's a real stunner!

We feel that Pascal and his partner love human contact and sincerely care about the quality of our stay. We've been comfortable for the duration of the stay. I celebrated my birthday along with 17 of my friends in Caroline’s house. The house is perfectly located, a beautiful boulangerie 5 minutes by walk, the forest and boulders were 20 minutes walk away and the house was situated in a great place with no one around. I can highly recommend the house, the kitchen is where the party was all weekend, perfect for a wholesome weekend. Will be coming back!

Perfect base for discovering the surroundings. There are very nice hikes in the climbing forests. And a day in Paris is also easy to do.

We had a pleasant stay at Demy's. The house is functional, with the main asset the large living room / dining room/American kitchen. The fact that there are two bathrooms is appreciated. The house is not as secluded as it appears in the photos, it is surrounded by houses, it is a suburban neighborhood. The neighborhood is very quiet and the house is perfect for rest.

Great house in a quiet location. Perfect for staying with a large group. The house, especially the kitchen, were very well equipped. The communication with the host was excellent. They were always available and very flexible. Definitely recommended!

Wonderful place for a cozy weekend getaway. Catherine is lovely and very responsive. The location is in the middle of farmland so we had the opportunity to do a nice little walk in the forest nearby.

Very nice and functional house, clean and tidy with a beautiful decoration of very good taste. Bedding very well also, we stayed there with our 2 children, we were able to visit the capital by taking the RER C at Saint Geneviève train station in 40 min. I recommend it.

I made a reservation for my work colleagues. Great house! They liked everything from the first day, the surroundings were great, the equipment in the house was very nice and above all there was plenty of space. The host is very helpful and willing to answer questions. My colleagues were very satisfied, I recommend this place very warmly.

We had an excellent week with friends. The family home has all the assets so that everyone has a good time at all ages, bowling alley, pool, games room....! Kitchen very well equipped for those who wish to enjoy it. Depending on the attention, the proximity of the highway could in general. We'll be happy to go back!

Perfect for a New Year's Eve with others and family. The house is very spacious with a very nice and bright living room with direct access to the garden. The kitchen is great for preparing meals and at the same time starting an aperitif The rooms are numerous and spacious (only small downside for the room which is on the top floor, you have to like the cool atmospheres😊..the heater did not heat enough). Jérémy was very accessible beforehand (he made it easy for us to have 2 additional individual mattresses) and during the stay by responding to all our small requests. I would recommend it without a second thought!

We spent two nights at Guillaume's with friends for my birthday. Both houses are very beautiful and comfortable. Everything is done to make us feel at home. The kitchens are very well equipped, the decoration is neat, there is a large fireplace in each house. The bedding is very comfortable and the cleanliness of the place is impeccable. We received a very warm welcome from Sophie who provided all the necessary explanations. I highly recommend for a stay for families or groups of friends.
