Beautiful spot. The cottage is so quiet, and cozy warm, despite the temps in the -20s. We put on our crosscountry skies and enjoyed the 14 Island Lake. And you only need two steps from the house to get to the hot tub, which was at a perfect temperature.

This was such a phenomenal place to stay. The access to the river was lovely, and the entire house had so many great touches and details. The kitchen is very well stocked, beds and pillows so so comfortable. Location was fantastic and close to everything you need. I will definitely be back to stay here again !

My fiancee and I went here for our engagement trip and it was great! it was warm when we got there and the hot tub was ready to go! We brought our Husky with us and he absolutely loves the snow all around the cabin! Very peaceful and secluded but only about 10 min to town. Would highly recommend staying here

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! It was the perfect family getaway. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, making it feel like a true home away from home. Our host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, always quick to respond and ensure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The location offered so much to do — from outdoor activities and so many games there was never a dull moment. Whether we were enjoying the ice rink or hot tub or simply enjoying the cozy space, there was always something to keep everyone entertained. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, fun-filled family retreat!

Julie sent us the cottage address and more information well in advance of our arrival. She was friendly and even though she lives close by we couldn't see her house and she gave us total privacy. The hot tub was so amazing and secluded. The house was warm and clean. Very quiet location. We will definitely visit again! Thank you Julie!

I have experienced a few airbnbs to date and must say that I have yet to experience anything unpleasant. That's because of the incredible integrity of hostesses like Charlotte, overseeing places like this sweet gem: true to its advertisement, and very well laid out instructions which kept us from having to inquire about anything. We came to create and we came to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. My husband and I are calling this our "Oasis-Escapis" and plan to bring more monumental celebrations and creative endeavours here. Loved Racheal’s cabin in the woods. The cabin was beautifully decorated and the surrounding area was so peaceful . There were hand written notes with helpful information placed in convenient locations. A lot of thought has been put into making you feel welcome. There are so many nice touches to mention, like the basket of slippers and the basket of blankets to use by the fire. This was one of my favourite places. I Was able to see a Deer very close to the front door. The cabin had pretty much everything that you would need and more. Would have loved to stay a couple more days because the time went by really quickly. There is a nice variety of games and activities so you always have something to do. Can’t wait to go back to the cabin in the woods!

We stayed at the Skoot Cabin from Dec 26-30 with our dog and friend from New York. Everyone had an easy time getting to the place and getting in. Once inside, it was really hard to want to leave such a cozy space in the winter. The wood burning stove was an absolute highlight and kept us warm throughout the stay. The place itself had everything we needed and the area around the cabin was perfect for our dog to explore and run around. Kate was super helpful and responsive and provided us with all the info on the place. Can’t say enough good things about this cabin and location and our friend was very impressed with this Canadian experience! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Christopher’s cottage was an absolute gem! Christopher is super responsive and provides great advice to explore the surrounding area. The place was stunning and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the trails, and the sauna was a great way to relax. We had a blast!

Sally and the Swan Cove Cottage were incredible! Sally was very responsive and accommodating. The cottage itself was ideal. Due to the loss of my dad in December, I booked on fairly short notice and headed north! The cottage was close to friends so that I could visit with them, or enjoy the peace of the cottage. It being the beginning of January, the porch may not have gotten the use it could’ve, but I loved the option. I arrived very early am, and the cottage was warm and ready. Don's quaint, rustic cottage in a very private setting was just what we were looking for. It's perfect for a couple. For late October, the colours were still glorious, and the space was cozy. Don was very kind, and he even left a card and some treats in the fridge for us in honour of our anniversary. If you're looking to disconnect and find some tranquility, this is the place!

We had a great extended long weekend at Gabriella’s and we truly loved our stay! Couldn’t get over the gorgeous sunsets every evening. We loved the fire pit and enjoyed the beautiful views every night. We also liked the close proximity to Bon Echo where we hiked and explored! It was nice quiet lake. Thank you for hosting us!

I can’t say enough about Virginia and her amazing retreat. We were looking for a simple halfway stop on our way home from seeing family in the US and found this amazing space run by wonderful people. It was a treasure and we will be back. This beautiful family is forging a new way of living and travel that is sustainable and gives me hope. She is a great host if you have children and are interested in forest school and learning about local history and geography. My son was free to run and hear nothing but nature sounds and then we took the ferry everyday into Kingston to explore Canadian history and culture and eat amazing food. We went to the Wolfe Island hotel to eat local wonderful food and visited the stunning isolated beach every night at sunset. Wolfe Island is a place like no other. I had such a great connection with the host and her commitment to the earth and the future. Thank you Virginia!

Perfect place to stay while in Picton.

We had such a wonderful time at this cottage. It's cozy and very comfortable. Beds are great. The kitchen is super well equipped. The deck is a peaceful place where you can enjoy nature. The restaurant in town is very good. Anne-Marie was very nice and lovely. We will be back for sure!

From the very beginning amber and Darcy’s communication was 10/10, she was so thorough that any questions we had were immediately answered and even at the location there were onsite notes for anything to make use that much easier. The location was scenic and so peaceful. It really felt like we were tucked away for the ultimate relaxation. They had everything you need and more to enjoy their cabin to the fullest. Whether you are outdoorsy or not there were plenty of indoor and outdoor activities provided. The neatness and cleanliness made this rustic cabin genuinely so easy to enjoy. Not all hosts provide things you might forget or entertainment but they certainly did. Everyone had their own personal space for the girls trip and the outhouse was so clean it made for a very practical vacation. We are already planning our next trip back! Who thought a winter getaway could be so successful, the weather was amazing and couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Thank you again!

We had an amazing stay at the waterfront cottage! The location was perfect with a stunning deck view where we enjoyed star gazing every night. The boat ride was a highlight and very affordable. The cottage was clean and well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had all the utensils we needed. The bunkies were cozy and comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. Our host, Courtney, was incredibly responsive and provided clear instructions, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Kim’s place was absolutely amazing. It was the most peaceful and private stay I have had. The house was so clean and tidy. We had everything and more already in the cabin. I will be going back to have another weekend getaway. This place is a gem and you would not regret booking it. I was so relaxing being there. The cabin install felt like a home and being so close to the lake the views were beautiful. I highly recommend staying here
