Cabin vacation rentals in Forest

This charming cottage, nestled in a quiet area, had all the amenities we were looking for. We had a wonderful time sitting in front of the fireplace, playing board games and walking around the property with Toby, Rusty and Chloe. They welcomed us upon our arrival as if they already knew us. We also had the pleasure to feed the hens and the bunnies, eat a local Café and visit other local businesses. The cottage is clean and cozy. It felt like home away from home. Highly recommended!

We loved the Place in Verona and highly recommend it. During our 2 day, 3 night stay we hiked in Frontenac Provincial Park, walked along the Frontenac K&P trail... discovered a delicious German bakery and spent a lot of time just hanging out together at their beautiful cabin. It is so peaceful and thoughtfully composed. The wood burning stove was a delight... Silver is a great host and the cabin itself quickly felt like home.

This was such a phenomenal place to stay. The access to the river was lovely, and the entire house had so many great touches and details. The kitchen is very well stocked, beds and pillows so so comfortable. Location was fantastic and close to everything you need. I will definitely be back to stay here again !

Julie sent us the cottage address and more information well in advance of our arrival. She was friendly and even though she lives close by we couldn't see her house and she gave us total privacy. The hot tub was so amazing and secluded. The house was warm and clean. Very quiet location. We will definitely visit again! Thank you Julie!

Words can’t describe how much we enjoyed the space. Nick and Rob set the bar high for our future trips! They were super responsive, proactive, friendly and overall great energy. During our stay we were already looking at their best availabilities to book again in the future! Everything in this place truly reflects how thoughtful and passionate Nick and Rob are when it comes to hosting. It was the coziest and best airbnb I’ve ever experienced! I wish we got to try their bed recipe but we were in and out exploring. We will definitely be coming back in the future!! I highly recommend booking your next stay with them!!!!!

I have experienced a few airbnbs to date and must say that I have yet to experience anything unpleasant. That's because of the incredible integrity of hostesses like Charlotte, overseeing places like this sweet gem: true to its advertisement, and very well laid out instructions which kept us from having to inquire about anything. We came to create and we came to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. My husband and I are calling this our "Oasis-Escapis" and plan to bring more monumental celebrations and creative endeavours here. This was our second time staying at the cabin. Everything was great. Rachel is a great host and puts a lot of effort into her cabin to make sure everything is perfect for her guests.We will be back for sure!

We stayed at the Skoot Cabin from Dec 26-30 with our dog and friend from New York. Everyone had an easy time getting to the place and getting in. Once inside, it was really hard to want to leave such a cozy space in the winter. The wood burning stove was an absolute highlight and kept us warm throughout the stay. The place itself had everything we needed and the area around the cabin was perfect for our dog to explore and run around. Kate was super helpful and responsive and provided us with all the info on the place. Can’t say enough good things about this cabin and location and our friend was very impressed with this Canadian experience! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Christopher’s cottage was an absolute gem! Christopher is super responsive and provides great advice to explore the surrounding area. The place was stunning and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the trails, and the sauna was a great way to relax. We had a blast!

Sally and the Swan Cove Cottage were incredible! Sally was very responsive and accommodating. The cottage itself was ideal. Due to the loss of my dad in December, I booked on fairly short notice and headed north! The cottage was close to friends so that I could visit with them, or enjoy the peace of the cottage. It being the beginning of January, the porch may not have gotten the use it could’ve, but I loved the option. I arrived very early am, and the cottage was warm and ready. Don's quaint, rustic cottage in a very private setting was just what we were looking for. It's perfect for a couple. For late October, the colours were still glorious, and the space was cozy. Don was very kind, and he even left a card and some treats in the fridge for us in honour of our anniversary. If you're looking to disconnect and find some tranquility, this is the place!

Tiffany thought to provide fixings for a smores treat! Our grand daughter also loved the play structure. We would definitely rebook with Tiffany again! Thankyou!

We had the most amazing time and made a lifetime of memories!

Courtney was extremely responsive and her way of communicating made it very clear that she wanted us to have a great time at her location. She had taken some extra steps for us to feel right at home and comfortable when we arrived. She had lighted up the woodfired fireplace in the kitchen for us and had also provided us with extra wood to burn at the open air fire pit later at night. The decor of the place is quite unique with tons of antique items spread around the property. Even though the weather was cloudy and wet when we visited, the time we spent at the location was extremely memorable.

We had a great extended long weekend at Gabriella’s and we truly loved our stay! Couldn’t get over the gorgeous sunsets every evening. We loved the fire pit and enjoyed the beautiful views every night. We also liked the close proximity to Bon Echo where we hiked and explored! It was nice quiet lake. Thank you for hosting us!

I can’t say enough about Virginia and her amazing retreat. We were looking for a simple halfway stop on our way home from seeing family in the US and found this amazing space run by wonderful people. It was a treasure and we will be back. This beautiful family is forging a new way of living and travel that is sustainable and gives me hope. She is a great host if you have children and are interested in forest school and learning about local history and geography. My son was free to run and hear nothing but nature sounds and then we took the ferry everyday into Kingston to explore Canadian history and culture and eat amazing food. We went to the Wolfe Island hotel to eat local wonderful food and visited the stunning isolated beach every night at sunset. Wolfe Island is a place like no other. I had such a great connection with the host and her commitment to the earth and the future. Thank you Virginia!

We had such a wonderful time at this cottage. It's cozy and very comfortable. Beds are great. The kitchen is super well equipped. The deck is a peaceful place where you can enjoy nature. The restaurant in town is very good. Anne-Marie was very nice and lovely. We will be back for sure!
