Waterfront vacation rentals in Fontana Lake

We had a wonderful stay! Great location that is close to many things to do in the area. Unit was very clean, spacious, & had everything one could need. Quiet and peaceful with a nice balcony looking over the river. Thank you for sharing your space!

This is our fourth time staying here. It’s perfect and beautiful. The location is amazing and the grounds are just stunning with their gorgeous flowers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was by far the cleanest airbnb we have stayed at. The location was perfect--close to everything. Helio was in touch and very attentive. We had everything that we needed during the stay. The balcony and the river view was beautiful and private. Check in and out was easy. The kitchen has the necessities. If you plan to do anything like baking bread or specialized cooking, plan to bring those items with you. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The condo was cozy, clean, quiet and perfect for a break. We will definitely be back!!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Initially we had a little trouble finding, but Romil was available and responsive to help. He showed us grace with an issue and we were appreciative. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

This was the most perfect location for a solo birthday trip I decided to take this past weekend! It is the cutest, most peaceful inn right outside of the Smoky Mountain National Park. Wendy was so sweet and gave me a list of wonderful places to see and things to do while I was there! It was so lovely and just absolutely perfect. I can’t wait to come back to the Strawberry Patch!

Mrs. Dottie was wonderful. Her and Mr. Don were beyond friendly and made us feel right at home. The apartment looks just as the pictures show. A new unit. Super clean. (We are very particular people and this place was one of the cleanest ever). We Will definitely be back the next time we stay in Townsend. A wonderful place to spend my 50th birthday. Our family was in town for a wedding and had a great stay! It was so spacious, we loved the deck and dock, the views of the lake are spectacular! Parking is limited and the driveway down to the home is very tight, but it is as described in the parking/directions for the house, so it was not a surprise. Overall we had a great stay!

What a Beautiful get away !! Just the right size. We used the grill for steaks and had an amazing fire in the fire pit … and yummy s’mores ! Very inviting and relaxing ! Loved sitting on the covered deck right next to creek , the sound of the rushing water is a real treat. This place was pristine and worth every penny ! Wish we had stayed longer !

Beautiful location with lake access right out the back door. Lovely kitchen and living area. We were there during a cold Thanksgiving weekend. The house was warm, no issues. Becky is very quick to reply and you will NOT be sorry that you reserved her place!

Absolutely marvelous!!! Glorious setting, picture perfect views, lots of activities to do on the lake with kayaks and pattelboards available as well as a Lilly pad. The Trex decking is a huge plus. Inside was cozy, great mattresses in upper level, fully stocked kitchen. Phenomenal screens in porch, rockers and lounge chairs on multi level deck, and even a fire pit perfect for moon/Star gazing. If you’re looking for a wonderful place to relax, enjoying the mountains and this pristine lake, the Chart House is delightful!

On average my wife and I stay at 22-26 airbnb's a year and by far the hosts of this property exceeds them All! They are very accommodating and very prompt to getting back to you when you have questions. Also, this property is what my family calls a "Wow Factor"! The views of the lake and mountains are breath taking and it feels very private, being you cannot see or here any neighbors. My family and I will definitely be returning!

The place is exactly as described. Very close to WCU and worked out great during move in day. Relaxing place to stay.

Our family stayed here for the weekend to go to Bryson City’s Polar Express. It was an easy ride to the train, but mostly , the house was spacious and clean and well stocked! The views are spectacular as other reviews have stated…we agree!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Gatlinburg vacation. The condo was in a great location and walkable to downtown, and the trolleys were easy to use when we didn’t want to walk. The creek beside the condo was so peaceful and we even saw bears just right down the street. Parking was easy and the pool was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything in this place was just like described but is more spacious in person! (Master room needs some improvements)

I have stayed at Ed and Sara’s condo several times, and it will always be my first choice of places to stay. I’m very thankful that I found this place 5 years ago. Not only does it feel like home away from home, but Ed and Sara are always so nice to me and I couldn’t ask for better hosts! They deserve much more than 5 stars!

Owner was kind enough to swap our weekends when WCU Family Weekend had to be postponed due to the hurricane, and though I wasn't personally able to make the trip because my son came down with the flu, my WCU daughter and her roommate and friends enjoyed having a quiet weekend getaway from campus. She remarked that the house was even nicer than pictured, and highly recommended that I book again for future visits to WCU.

Absolutely beautiful place! I could live there!!! Well stocked, extremely clean and the pool and property are gorgeous. Bill was very prompt in responding and check in was a breeze. Staff more than helpful and so nice. Will definitely be back.
