Charming log cabin in great Floyd County location for 2 guests only. Large family room with gas fireplace. Separate bedroom with queen bed, well appointed kitchen, & single bath with stall shower. Located ~22 minutes from I-81, 35 minutes from Virginia Tech, 22 minutes from Floyd Country Store, & ~ 40 minutes to Roanoke. No smoking/vaping on property. Our home is beside/visible from the cabin. We are available if you need anything, but we respect your time and will give you your privacy.

Stayed with large family and had plenty of space for everyone. Very comfortable place that feels like home and had everything we needed. We were so grateful during snowy/ice weather that Eric checked up on us and put salt down the driveway to make sure we were ok and safe. Beautiful and peaceful views that we were sad to say goodbye to. We all really enjoyed our stay and would come back!

We had the best weekend ever! This place made my husband’s birthday special. We were both amazed at the view. Waking up every morning to see the sunrise and hear the birds sing was the most beautiful and relaxing experience. The cabin had everything we needed and the space was just perfect. Definitely disconnected from the world and enjoyed every second of it. If you are someone that is looking to stay here please do. Trust me when I say the views you could see from the back porch and the nature sounds felt like a dream. Also the host Marissa always responded to all our questions and even had so many recommendations not only restaurants but also for trails. Would love to stay here again in the future.

We spent a wonderful Easter weekend at Ellison's place in Meadows of Dan and couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and relaxing stay. Ellison was super flexible when we had to initially cancel the visit but then ended up rebooking along with a last minute reservation change to both come a day earlier and stay another night longer. The chalet was beautifully decorated and clean up on arrival and all amenities were as listed, including a plentiful number of towels and and already prefilled Brita dispenser and ice trays. The neighborhood was super quiet and felt really private for the entire long weekend. I really enjoyed the office space in the upstairs loft with the monitor and usb-C cable that made working remotely with two monitors a breeze. We'll definitely stay here again next time my partner and I visit his hometown!

Tara’s clean, comfortable tiny house was perfectly located for our weekend in Floyd. This house comes with the best greeting committee: ducks, Sienna the sweet dog, and affectionate cat. Peaceful location right outside of town, delicious morning coffee, and relaxed vibes. Already looking forward to returning!

We didn't have great weather. But when the sun came out, Jennifer sent a message with a great suggestion how to view the sunset. What an unexpected sweet gesture. We had a wonderful weekend made better by having a nice place to stay and thoughtful host. Can't wait to come back.

Overall loved our stay. I was a little upset at the fact that even though we paid a cleaning fee in the checkout instructions we were prompted to clean up a lot before we left. Other than that it was a fantastic time and I will definitely be booking here again!
