Cottage vacation rentals in Florencia

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Ana Maria’s home. The house is beautiful, tastefully decorated, modern and comfortable. It’s even nicer than the lovely pictures. We were there at Christmas time and so enjoyed the tree and all the decorations. Communication with the owners was excellent and immediate. You can’t beat the location, close to town with beautiful views! And the jacuzzi was amazing - what a treat! We will love to stay there again and explore more!

Quiet, between 30 and 50 min from activities (Arenal, warm waters, lazy tours, nights, etc.). The outdoor space made us happy day or evening, well sheltered from the rain. Jorge, the neighbor who took care of us (main communication, day-to-day questions, where/when/how to buy fruit) was great. It only communicates in Spanish, it is very generous. The house is large and the beds are comfortable. Air conditioning was working in bedrooms. The kitchen outside was really appreciated. Although we could not use it half of the time we were there, the pool was good, the sauna was not working during our stay. A rooster and several chickens came to our grounds for the kids to enjoy.

This was a hidden gem, really enjoyed the place and amenities, Fabricio was a great host, always attentive and kept offering help throughout our stay. Highly recommend the place for those looking for a quiet and nice place, away from noise and crowded areas.

Amazing property on a working ranch. Many animals to watch and interact with. Very friendly staff. The restaurant was a nice surprise with fresh farm to table food at reasonable price. Pool and hot tub open 24/7! Room and terrace was one of the best places we stayed on our trip.

The property is a little off Miramar, on a hill from which you have a beautiful view of the Gulf of Nicoya. It can only be reached by car or taxi. The house is very spacious, super equipped and you have complete privacy. From the terrace you can watch many different animals and relax nicely. Communication with Yuliana has been very easy and fast. It is a perfect base for exploring local attractions. We enjoyed the time very much and can highly recommend the place. We wish Yuliana and her parents all the best.

It was a very pleasant stay. The place was clean and matched the description of the photos. It’s 20 min away by car from La Fortuna. It is also in a gated community for extra safety. Marce was very responsive! Thank you for hosting us!

Recently, I had the opportunity to visit an amazing place with 15 friends, and the experience was simply unforgettable. The space was spacious, beautiful and perfectly designed to enjoy special moments. The privacy it offered allowed us to feel completely comfortable and make the most of our reunion. But what really made the difference was Marianela's attention. Your dedication and kindness made us all feel at home. Every detail was thoughtfully thought out, from service to decoration. It is evident that he puts the heart into what he does, and that is reflected in every aspect of his attention. Definitely a place we'd go back to without thinking about it. Luis Daniel's place was a great fit for our family of 5. The house is spacious, clean, the kitchen is well equipped. It is located in a quite and safe neighborhood close to La Furtuna with a great view of Arenal volcano. Our kids enjoyed the outside pool. there are couple of grocery stores less than 5 minutes driving. Marvin was very responsive. He welcomed us upon arrival and solved tiny issues immediately. There is a short drive on non paved road to the house from the main road. No need for 4x4, just drive slowly. We highly recommend this place for families. We will definitely like to return to this house in the future.

We had a great time in Bajos del Toro, even though we only stayed at Francisco's place for our last night in Costa Rica. The cabin is large, exceptionally clean, and has everything needed for 4 people. Francisco was very responsive and we appreciated his quick answers to our questions about things to do. He also allowed us to check-in in the morning, which basically gave us all the afternoon to tour the area; this was really appreciated!

Anyela and Freddys place was a great location. The space was clean and private. Easy to access and easy to get everywhere we needed to go. The access to the river behind the house was great and listening to the sound while in the hammocks was so peaceful. House was equipped with everything we needed although we didn't spend much time there it was a place we would highly recommend to try and for us to return. Thanks Anyela and Freddy for the great stay and Damaris for your help as well with your speedy laundry services!

This house was just what we needed. It's secluded, away from the fray and crowds and absolutely in a perfect, serene location, full of nature and beauty. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the picturesque windows and loved that the home could be fully opened up if we wanted to. The entire place is lovely. We enjoyed plenty of nature, visits from Giant Cane Toads and Poison Dart Frogs daily, which was just what our son wanted to see! We really enjoyed our stay!

It is a large, super equipped, very clean and comfortable house. The pool and bbq area is beautiful. Very happy to have stayed, we would come back without thinking.

Awesome place! Great amount of room, fun, decorative touches, air conditioning very helpful for us with the muggy weather. Very solid communication from host. Lost power, which can happen at a time for about three hours one evening? Found a couple of candles and some matches near the barbecue, just be aware that wacky things can happen like that. Loved La Fortuna, probably our favorite destination in our two weeks in Costa Rica. :-)

Close to the volcano, easy communication. Very cozy furnishings with small goodies. Very nice everything.

The place is amazing, like taken out of a movie ... the cabin is beautiful, with every space full of details. The views and surroundings: Just WOW. It has a terrace where you can do yoga, read a book or just enjoy the view (bonus: with firepit included). The fireplace, rooms and living areas in the cabin are very welcoming, and the kitchen has everything you need. Laura's attention and all the staff was exceptional💯...we were very happy and grateful and we can't wait to come back soon. Thanks 🫶🏻
