Watching “CoCo” cook—his energy is unmatched—is an experience! Get there early; we went twice, and it was packed. Consider contributing to The Local Joint’s “pay it forward” option. A $10 donation covers a meal for someone in need. This region of North Carolina was severely impacted by Hurricane Helene. The destruction is heartbreaking, but the community is rebuilding. Many businesses and walking trails remain closed, so keep that in mind.

Our stay at the cottage was perfect! The house was exactly what we needed and was incredibly charming inside. We had easy access to the town area and all local trails. The cottage itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt like a cozy home away from home. We loved the fire pit, hot tub and really nice front deck. We would definitely come back soon :)

We’ve stayed at a couple of Airbnbs in Asheville and this one was our favorite! The layout of the house was perfect and we loved all of the outdoor spaces. The expansive back porch, huge yard for soccer, and corner hot tub were favorites for the whole family. The beds were so comfortable that we had a hard time getting out of them in the morning. Our bulldog loved the yard, fenced back porch, and wooded area. Jon was so communicative and had wonderful restaurant recommendations. We hope to come back soon for another stay!

My husband and I wanted to have a peaceful weekend after attending appointments at the VA hospital close by. This location hit the mark perfectly! Peaceful, simply elegant, and clean with the bonus of nature surrounding us. We enjoyed relaxing evenings looking at the stars from the jacuzzi.

We were in town for a wedding and had looked for a place near the venue. We were an easy 10 minutes away. While still being a peaceful and private location, we were near main streets. As soon as we arrived, we felt right at home. Everything was cozy and we didn’t lack for anything. The outdoor space was serene and beautiful. We certainly hope to visit again soon!

Kate’s place is truly a hidden gem. It is cozy, tastefully decorated, and the windows / porch highlight a beautiful view of the mountains. Kate was responsive, accommodating, and she left helpful instructions / recommendations. We would certainly recommend her cottage to those looking to stay in the Asheville area!

probably one of the better Airbnbs I have been to in a very very long time. Not only is the house cute, but the front patio and out door fire pit was just amazing. My wife and I spent the day exploring asheville and the blue ridge park way and would come back to the cozy home. would 100 percent recommend this place to any one coming through.

Felt like home! This was our second time staying here (my sister and me with two pups), and we've loved it both times. The place is clean, has everything you'd need, and it's comfortable - just like home! Debbie is also very responsive and helpful. We were able to easily get to Pisgah national forest for hiking and to downtown Brevard for some breweries. We plan on going here on repeat. We've found the perfect home away from home!

We stayed in this cozy cabin for almost two weeks and then were interrupted by Hurricane Helene. Christine was very accommodating and caring as the storm was approaching and passing through. She checked in and ensured we were safe. Christine was very communicative and friendly. This cabin is so warm and welcoming. The outdoor surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. We used to live in Asheville and staying in this cabin reminded us of why we loved it so much.

We stayed in the Gala Getaway cottage and it was wonderful! The description given by Jennifer was spot on. The cottage is extremely private and clean. Next time we visit the area we definitely hope that the cottage is available as it is close to everything. It is convenient to access downtown Hendersonville, wineries and several apple orchards . It is minutes from highway 26 while providing a quiet peaceful setting. We recommend it to anyone visiting the area

Despite being impacted by Hurricane Helene, we thought the farm was charming and beautiful. The creeks, the view and overlooking the pastures where you can see the sheep and horses. The cottage was cozy and very clean. Wi-fi worked great. Very little cell phone service in the area but that was okay with us. We had our 11 and 13 yr old granddaughters with us and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the horses and sheep. Jane was very friendly, responsive and courteous. I felt I made friends with her by the time we left. Her dogs were friendly too and I could easily tell they were farm dogs bc one tried to herd us down to the pasture, lol. When we wanted to go out to eat, we had to drive at least 10-15 min to the nearest restaurants, not counting fast food. Many of the stores and restaurants in Swannanoa were closed due to damage caused by the hurricane. We ate in Black Mountain the most. The Biltmore Estate was only about 20 min away. WNC nature ctr is close by as well

This place was an absolute dream. Extremely peaceful, tucked away, with incredible views. The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive when we had an issue.

The Host was always responsive and was willing to block off the next couple of days after the last day of our stay just in case we needed to extend. We appreciate the flexibility that our host showed. We would certainly consider this house again.

Jessica and William are wonderful hosts with an amazing cottage! They met us when we arrived and made us feel so welcome. The cottage is amazing and perfectly relaxing. They have thought of everything to make your stay feel homey and relaxing…lovely furnishings, fresh eggs and honey, a super comfy bed, all in a quiet beautiful setting. They welcomed us to walk the grounds, meet the animals, and take in all the beauty. Their dogs were great hosts too! Whether you are visiting Asheville for the wonderful city, the art, the Biltmore, or just to have a relaxing getaway, this is the perfect place to stay! We only wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back and we know the perfect cottage to stay in! We give the Lucky W Cottage and Jessica, William, and their furry and feathered friends the highest recommendation!
