Vacation rentals in Finland State Forest

This place was great! The only thing is they didn’t have shampoo/conditioner or body wash. But everything else was great. The hosts were very accommodating to our needs! It was the perfect place for our trip!

We had a wonderful visit to the North Shore —perfect location to visit sites north and south! What a relaxing and cozy stay surrounded by beautiful views—sunrises over the lake were gorgeous. The beds/linens were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Enjoyed time at the North Shore winery. Appreciated all the recommendations. Would highly recommended and hope to return someday!

My family was gathered, our stay was focused on our togetherness with an opportunity to separate when needed. We each had our own rooms and bathroom, with gathering places to enjoy one another's company. The view was great, fireplace made it cozy, a kitchen we could cook in and a table made for meals. Had there been snow, we would have put skis and snowboards to use! We did enjoy the pool, nearby winery and a hiking day in Grand Marais! Thank you to the hosts for a cozy, winter get away!

Our stay was wonderful! It was a perfect space for my boyfriend and I and our two dogs to visit and adventure! Amazing hosts who were always friendly, responsive and made our stay personal and peaceful! 100% would recommend and stay again in the future!

This home is a perfect home away from home. My mom, sister and I had a fabulous vacation here and enjoyed the peace and quiet. With it so close to downtown Bayfield we were able to make multiple trips easily at different times of the day for different reasons; shopping, restaurants etc. Our host was fabulous and even let us know when to watch for the Northern lights. The sunrises were amazing and lake view was fantastic. There is more than enough space here and the screened porch was one of the best features. Oh, and so was the visits from sweet “resident” fox! We’ll definitely be back!!

We had a wonderful time! Great location for our extended family with kids/babies ages 1 mo. to 5 years old. Lots of great winter activities for everyone, highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful home, the sauna was a fun addition. Within half an hour of Duluth, and 20 minutes or less of awesome hikes. Would 100% stay here again. Worked great for our pup too with lots of yard for him to enjoy.
