Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Finger Lakes

Lovely home on the lake! Extremely clean place, fully equipped kitchen, cozy and comfortable with nice decor. Check-in/out was super easy and communication was excellent. You can tell Mara wants her guests to feel right at home! She was responsive and friendly. Great location for visiting wineries, a cheese shop and nearby towns. We absolutely loved the water view from inside! And we are always thankful when pups are allowed! Highly recommended this Airbnb! Don’t hesitate to book!

This house in Syracuse is great, especially if you have young children. The owner kindly welcomed us with eggs and milk in the fridge. The garden has a nice little playground and the kitchen is very well equipped. Great place if you’re staying in Syracuse. We would love to stay here again next year.

We were looking to host a retreat for the trustees responsible for running a creative problem solving program for kids in the state of New York. Our experience at Heywood Manor was nothing less than exceptional. The location, the house along with its amenities combined with a gracious host made it a memorable weekend. I'm trying to think of a reason to return just to experience it again!

Lovely spot for my family with two young kids to stay - easily accessible to great hikes and food options, a 15 minute walk to the commons, many grocery stores (and a great bakery) nearby, and super comfortable for the family to sleep, eat, and play. Andrea kindly left out toys for the kids and we loved having drinks in the backyard. Highlight activities were Buttermilk Falls hike, Teaghannock falls hike and lake beach, Treman swimming hole, Watkins Glenn, the National Soaring Museum, the Science Center, and Stewart Park. Best meals were at The Rook, Lev Kitchen, and Thompson and Bleecker (plus baked goods at Wide Awake bakery, but beware their limited hours!). Hope we can come back to Ithaca again!

Vernon & Merrie were wonderful hosts and were always very responsive before and during our stay. The house is a perfect fit for 2 families. It is very spacious and we felt like we had 2 homes in 1 with 2 full kitchens. This was a huge plus as our stay was over Thanksgiving and the extra space with 2 refrigerators, multiple ovens, etc… all came in handy. The house is very well stocked and it’s clear the hosts put a great deal of care and thought into creating a great vacation for their guests. Highly recommend!

Laura, Denny, Emily and Justin were great hosts, adapting to changes in our plans, supervising family visitors for a tour of the animals, clearing and salting the snowy entryways, just being their friendly and helpful selves. The location was lovely and the house had more amenities than one could expect. We hope F House will be available next time we visit our Syracuse family.

Nice place. Quiet location. Very very comfy bed. The treats that were left were a great added touch (apples, muffins, cheese, etc.). Sheets and bedding were great. Furniture comfortable too. Plenty of towels.

This is. Y second time staying at Nelson’s home. The house is centrally located to stores, bowling alley, restaurants, bars, etc. Nelson’s place is warm and inviting and has everything you need for a quick or long stay— pots, pans, dishes, coffee makers, microwave, toaster, etc. My sisters and I were in town for a family thanksgiving celebration and we were able to make some of the dishes to take to the family dinner at Nelson’s. I left some things behind after checkout and Nelson was very accommodating about getting the items to me. Great host, great find and great price!!! THANKS Nelson!!!

Rodica is a wonderful, friendly, responsive host. The place was even bigger than I expected! Very quiet with a beautiful view! You can tell the carpet is older, but otherwise she keeps it absolutely pristine! So happy we found her place!

I truly enjoyed the entire booking experience with Heather and Lisa. This place was magnificent! I wanted to move in already! Well decorated, well maintained, equipped with every amenity you could imagine. The amazing views and generous luxury experience provided is marvelous here!

Very private and quiet space. There were stairs to get to the walk out basement which was the entrance for the apartment. The front of the house that you see as you enter the driveway is not the same as the picture of the whole house so there was some confusion if I was at the right place. Inside was very spacious and clean.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Jonathan’s place. The apartment was exactly as described—modern, clean, well-decorated, and well-organized. The location was incredibly convenient and felt very safe. The stunning views were an added bonus. I highly recommend Jonathan’s place and look forward to staying there again!

Rachel’s place was perfect for a little weekend getaway. The sauna was a big draw for me and it did not disappoint! SO relaxing. Everything was very clean and instructions for our stay were clear. She made lots of great recommendations for restaurants and things to do nearby. And it’s a quick 10-15 minute drive into town. Highly recommend!

Perfect place for our yearly ski trip to Greek Peak! The entrance was perfect for all our ski gear.

Spacious, clean, townhouse right in the heart of Armory Square. Great place to stay if you're visiting downtown Syracuse.

Probably one of the best Airbnb locations I have stayed at so far. I would definitely recommend this spot if you want relaxation with comfort and amenities !
