Riad vacation rentals in Fez-Meknès

We loved our stay in Fes. It was like being in a castle! So beautiful with a perfect mix of old and new. Highly recommended.

Great welcome from Hicham Hicham was very accommodating from start to finish (even when we forgot the keys inside the accommodation...) The accommodation is very well located for visiting the medina. Hicham was able to offer us excursions on Fes and surroundings We had a private taxi to visit Rabat, volutibis and meknes The next time we come to Morocco, we will avoid the Ramadan period because the days are shortened (shop closures, places to visit, taxis...) A tip to give about a week's vacation: choose different places to stay in multiple cities to optimize tours.

The room was amazing and a great family experience!

This is a unique house created with intelligence and love. On the edge of the Fes medina it’s close to the buzz but far enough to be peaceful. We stayed 3 weeks in January with no need for a car. We had full sun and blue skies except for 1 day. We swam in the beautiful big pool everyday ( it was very cold, we are from northern Europe). It was chilly before 10am and after 6pm but the terrace and garden get plenty of sun. The bedrooms are all a generous size. Only 3 are en-suite. The dining room and communal lounge were a squeeze for our party of 9, it would be easier to enjoy the house on warmer days. This is a home not an hotel and more relaxed for it. Sanae the manager of the house is a warm, kind person we had the privilege to meet. She made us soup and prescribed cures for aches and pains. The memory of the beautiful garden, lemon trees, orange trees, olives and cacti will keep us warm for the rest of our winter.

Lovely place, in the heart of the Medina, well worth staying at if you're stopping in Fes.

Before we even arrived at our Riad, Mohammad was in touch with us, arranging a driver for our pickup. His sister then guided us to our Airbnb, and from the very start, everyone was incredibly welcoming. Mohammad also organized a guided tour for us, making our day perfectly planned. Nabila’s cooking was exceptional—out of our entire stay in Morocco, we couldn’t find food as delicious as hers. The Riad itself was absolutely beautiful. If I ever visit Morocco again, I would definitely choose to stay at their place!

We had high hopes about this stay, and it exceeded them. The photos don't do this place justice, it's beautiful with very tasteful art, little bunk areas to climb up, comfy seating, a beautiful view over the city. And Imane is just incredible, coming over every morning to make a fresh breakfast, extremely friendly with our kids, and offering super helpful advice. If you have kids or it's your first time in Fes, this is a must-stay.

“Best place we’ve ever stayed” - my 15 year old twins. The word magical gets thrown around too much but that’s what this is. Beautiful and authentic with all the modern touches for a 5* experience (eg heated floors in the bathrooms). And the location in the heart of the medina is perfect. Zahrae, our concierge, is simply awesome. Always available, proactive and friendly. Same goes for Hensae and Zakaria. Thank you again for an unforgettable 2 days.

We had a fantastic week in this beautiful riad. It is very centrally located in the Medina near restaurants, mini mini supermarkets and lots of shops. Really enjoy! Amina made many breakfasts for us, highly recommended. She also cooked for us and that was really the tastiest tagine with lamb and chicken we have ever eaten. Through Rachid we have planned many excursions, to Volubilis, to the Atlas mountains and quad riding. The permanent driver Abdul is very nice and drives really well and safely through the busy traffic. He also showed us many nice extras, such as feeding monkeys in the Atlas mountains, drinking tea in a cave with a Berber family and sampling camel milk. The first night we were lost in the 9300 streets of the Medina and then every resident wants to help. Fortunately, Rachid responded directly and guided us to our house via whattsapp. We had a lovely week, thank you!

It's a dream! The Riad is quietly located and furnished with a lot of love for detail! The bedrooms are spread over three floors, great light in the house! At the top: roof terrace with fantastic views over Fès. What you should know: it's an old house, of course it smells a little musty. The heating options are sufficient, but it remains cool in the house. The staircase is narrow, you should be mobile. The kitchen is well equipped, the breakfast was typically Moroccan and very very delicious! Communication with Zackarias was excellent, on site we met Yasin: great guy! We enjoyed every second!

We had a great experience in Akram's Riad! It is a lovely and cozy place!Akram is the best host!We hope to come back to Fez and Akram's Riad!

Excellent host, very flexible and accommodating. My sister wasn’t feeling well, Dounia’s mother made her delicious Harira soup which helped with her symptoms. Will return when I visit Morocco next.

Fatima was the perfect host. She loves making her guests feel at home and goes above and beyond to make that happen. This is a historic home in a historic place, right in the heart of the Medina; we felt privileged to stay there. The view from the terrace is magnificent if your knees will tolerate the steps up there from the main floor. But even if they don't, staying here is a wonderful and memorable experience.

We already miss the house of Youssef, Siham and their children! The accommodation is located on the third and top floor of their typical Dar of the medina. It is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Access to the terrace is almost private. And what about this family so welcoming and endearing! Assia was able to introduce us to the medina with a big smile, Yacine was always there to welcome us, Youssef was always keen to talk with us and Siham concocted tasty dishes for us (breakfast included and dinner extra if desired): the best restaurant in the medina for sure! In short, if you want to discover Fez and its region by immersing yourself in the life of a Moroccan family while having the necessary privacy, go without a second thought! We can only recommend this fabulous place where we were hosted like princesses! Chokran Youssef, Siham, Assia and the whole family 🙏🏼

Our stay at the riad was wonderful. The room was very neat and all amenities were provided. The gentlemen in the riad were very welcoming and helpful. They thought along what we could do and recommended us a tour and hammam, which was both very nice! We greatly enjoyed our stay in Fez, thank you!

Our stay at Rachid’s place was great. The entire staff were very nice, helpful, and easy to talk to. Everything smelled good and the building was clean, with the rooms in neat order. The breakfast provided was tasty and left us full in to the afternoon. And finally, both inside the building and outside was always very quiet with the bed being really comfortable! I’d highly recommend staying here if choosing to stay in the Medina.

Beautiful Riad! Just outside of Fes. Amine arranged a driver for us to take us into Fes Medina late at night without any problem. Had the most amazing tour of the Medina. Our stay was perfect. Big room with entrance to the swimming pool. Definitely recommend to book this AirBnB.

We enjoyed it a lot in this beautiful Riad. Really really friendly team, beautiful rooms and in the middle of the old town!
