Turkeyfoot Wisteria Apartment

LeeRating, 5 stars6 months ago
A comfortable, spotlessly clean little apartment. Everything was as described. Diana was responsive to our questions but was not intrusive at all. We had a bonfire outside, sat on the front porch, listened to the trains, and walked around town. Enjoyed a couple of great meals at the River's Edge Cafe, just a short walk away. A great experience. Thank you, Diana!

Private Suite with beautiful river view.

ErinRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Had a wonderful stay at this spotless apartment with a lovely view of the confluence of rivers. The host was responsive and helpful. We felt at home with everything we needed, from the well-supplied kitchen to the comfortable living room, spacious dining room and luxurious bedroom suite with its own deck door. We had breakfast and coffee on the huge deck while enjoying ducks and boats on the water. Heard trains but slept fine. Being able to lock our bicycles in designated storage was a huge plus, as was the convenience of having bikes right outside the door for a beautiful ride on the treelined Great Allegheny Passage trail to OhioPyle in the state park 10 miles away. A fawn nibbled berries as we arrived for an incredible dinner at the Riversedge Cafe, a short walk from the apartment. The Confluence Convenience mart was open when we needed supplies on a Monday evening. And so glad we stopped at the nearby Tissue Farm for Chai, scone and art on our way out to Kentuck Knob - a must-see!

Modern, spacious Loft with River View just off GAP

Hui-MinRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Kara’s loft is very modern and functional. It’s both spotlessly clean and welcoming. Our two families of 7 enjoyed our two-night stay. Visited the famous Fallingwater, and made good use of the well-equipped kitchen for warm family gatherings. Thank you, Kara, for the opportunity to stay in this unique unit.

Dawson River Guest House

JoshRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Donald’s place was just as described. It is located right on the river and has some beautiful views. The house is an older house, but it is well kept. It was definitely a neat little place to stay and we enjoyed it very much. Donald was very responsive and answered any questions we had. Donald and Valerie were both very helpful. We will definitely be staying again when we’re in the area.

FLW Inspired Home--close to NWL and Fallingwater!

MellissaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Our stay was amazing. The house is gorgeous and pristine, the grounds were beautifully laid out and well kept. It was beyond welcoming and relaxing. I needed to call David for help (nothing related to our experience) and his responsiveness was immediate, kind and helpful. Checkout is a breeze, the house responsibilities for the guests were easy and common sense. I will definitely be looking to book a stay with this host again.

Turkeyfoot Inn

BarbaraRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Having several separate apartments and a main house instead of one big house was very helpful. We had 12 people, ages 6-84. Together time was great, and we also had plenty of room to spread out for quiet times as needed. We were there for Thanksgiving weekend and it was perfect. The apartment kitchens made our meal prep go smoothly. We had everything we needed. Diana was a wonderful hostess and sent notices about local events. Some of us visited Falling Water. The location is convenient to many outdoor activities like bike trails, kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, but it was too cold for us to do any of that this time. I would definitely rent again. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Confluence is a cute little town with a coffee shop, ice cream shop, a nice bar, a train (earplugs provided for sleeping), a huge Dollar General for food and anything you might need to pick up. The property is located right on the river and you see the confluence of the rivers.

Pine Grove Retreat near 7S, FallingWater &Ohiopyle

LeslieRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at Pine Grove Retreat! The place was the perfect setting for us: beautiful, calm, serene, with beautiful views of the ponds and the many deer that traveled through. The fireplace was cozy, the kitchen well stocked, the beds comfortable, and the bathrooms perfect for the three couples. We enjoyed all of the amenties, including the fire pit where we relaxed and made s'mores. The dining room table was plenty large for us to enjoy a delicious breakfast together, and the views out the many windows were beautiful and fall like. We enjoyed the short drives to Frank Lloyd Wright's Kentuck Knob and Fallingwater. We had a little problem with the heating when we first arrived at Pine Grove, so we texted Michele and she responded within minutes. The very kind and friendly owner came within 30 minute and fixed the issue easily. We all had so much fun together and hope to come back again in the future!

The Yough House

AllisonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The house was clean (clean linens and sheets) and had a well stocked kitchen with supplies, toliet paper, paper towels, and dish soap. There were a few kitchen things that did not work (toaster and one burner on the stove) but neither stopped us from cooking or having a great time with family. The location is great. Walkable to the Ohiopyle Visitors Center and other downtown places. We visited in the off season and I can only imagine how bustling this place must be in the summer. We would definitely return to this house in the future amd would highly recommend. We were 4 adults (22 to 82 years in age) and 1 child (5 years old). This house worked well for all of us. Maybe next time it will be warm enough to try out the pool!
