Retrostyle of the '70s in Danish cottage: This is a little different and we liked it. Nevertheless, you do not have to forego any comfort at Morten and Mette Marie (such as Wi-Fi, streaming TV, sound system, modern kitchen appliances or air conditioning). Highly recommended!

We stayed here for new years and it was a nice quiet place. We enjoyed walking to the beach and everything was in good proximity. The summer house was also beautiful and was equipped with everything we needed.

Our family spent a week at this great place in the middle of nature. It is very quiet and the house is lovingly furnished with everything you need. The beach can be reached in max. 10 min and (in August) very quiet. The contact with Helle and Tuf was friendly and straightforward. We highly recommend the place.

For a short stay with family this was a nice location. Everything we needed was there. Beds fine and everything clean and tidy. Glad that bedding and towels were included. For longer stays with family, a separate living room and slightly more spacious and sturdy kitchen table would be nice, I guess. But that didn't bother us now. Super friendly and helpful hosts, David and Estee! Thanks for a nice stay!

We loved our stay at Martins place, and took advantage of great features like the hot tub, fire pit, and proximity to the Fjord. We were 13 people (the max of the property). Although there were enough beds, the downside was some other aspects (especially the small under counter fridge, and no freezer) were not really big enough for 13 people, especially over 4 days. Something to keep in mind if looking for a place for a large group. However, we had perfect weather and the garden is fantastic so we had lots of space in that sense. Martin was also super helpful and responsive.

We recently had the most wonderful summer break staying at this lovely, peaceful cottage in Melby. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt ourselves relax. The cottage is beautifully decorated, kitchen is super well equipped and the beds are very comfortable - easily sleeping our 2 families. Outside, we loved using the pool, snoozing in the hammock and eating on the expansive deck in front of the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is a 10-15min walk to a pretty local beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the pretty Liseleje Beach. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Christian and Pernille were brilliant hosts - easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. Thanks for a truly fabulous stay!

We had a delightful stay. Kim is a very responsive and helpful host, and the house was clean and equipped with everything you might need for your stay. We were impressed by the attention to detail. It’s a quiet neighbourhood with beautiful surroundings. Would recommend having a car, but we managed it all on public transport and the handy bikes at the house. The only confusing bit was the light switches that took some finding! If you’re looking for a comfy space an hour outside of Copenhagen, this is a great place.

We had such a lovely stay at Nicklas and Line’s summer house! Location couldn’t have been better, the house was very cozy, and the sauna was a great addition. Nicklas and Line were very easy to communicate with and very accommodating— hope to one day come back.

Very nice accommodation and Sophia is a perfect host, always available and very supportive. The accommodation is very cosy and with the fireplace we were able to keep the house warm. Lovely cottage with plenty of space and play equipment for children. The garden is surrounded by natural fences, which provides great opportunities to see birds and a single fallow deer. There is no traffic in the immediate area, which is why the garden appears quiet and peaceful. The location in relation to, for example, beach, shopping, and experiences is really good. Shopping can be done with a walk where there is also a smaller castle ruin. Liselejestrand is not far away maybe 10 min drive, this beach is super good for both adults and children with lots of sand for play. Despite the weather, which during our rental period was typically Danish summer, we had a lovely stay due to the opportunities around the house. Would definitely recommend the house. Thomas

Just like last year, we enjoyed our stay at the summer house of Christian and Ksenia again! It secretly felt a bit like coming home. The peace in the summer house and immediate surroundings that is really indescribable. The house has everything you'll need, equipped with every comfort. Outside you can only hear the birds and nature. Beautiful surroundings.. At a 2-minute walk you have the water where we stayed again daily. Both we and the kids were able to recharge our batteries. More than enough possibilities for the kids to play outside. Always reach Christian and Ksenia and incredibly friendly. Hopefully until next year. Best wishes & thank you very much

The house was very cozy and you'll imediately feel like home. The pictures aren't doing the place enough justice. Garden is nice as well. Lots of neat corners to sit and soak in the sun. Communication was fast and easy. Plenty of tips for stuff to do, if you aren't shure how to spent your time. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a basecamp for you vacation on Sjælland.

A very cozy little house, well equipped and very quietly situated on a wonderful property. We had several visits from a deer in the evening. Everything was as described. We got tips from Jakob about things to do, shopping etc. and he was always available if we had any questions. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this accommodation.

If we could, we'd give this ten stars! We absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb. The cabin was cozy, beautifully maintained, and nestled in a peaceful, scenic location. The highlight of our visit was definitely the wildlife—we were thrilled to see squirrels and deer right outside the window every morning! Roskilde is only half an hour driving away. It felt like a private nature retreat and we left fully charged.
