Retrostyle of the '70s in Danish cottage: This is a little different and we liked it. Nevertheless, you do not have to forego any comfort at Morten and Mette Marie (such as Wi-Fi, streaming TV, sound system, modern kitchen appliances or air conditioning). Highly recommended!

Our family spent a week at this great place in the middle of nature. It is very quiet and the house is lovingly furnished with everything you need. The beach can be reached in max. 10 min and (in August) very quiet. The contact with Helle and Tuf was friendly and straightforward. We highly recommend the place.

Wonderful stay even in the winter. Nice and warm and despite rainy days, nice and light house through the windows and fresh decor. Christmas tree with lighting was on when you entered and the stove was already on. Nice to celebrate Christmas together with our family! We took a cold splash in the sea and walked in the nature reserve nearby, coffee in tisvilde. Was a nice vibe!

Really nice stay. Good and spacious cottage right by the water. Friendly and welcoming communication. We'd love to come back.

We had a super nice weekend at Mia's summerhouse. The house was incredibly cozy and homely and contained all the amenities we needed to cozy and cook lovely food. Both inside and outside there were lovely nooks to stay in. We hope we can come back next year. Communication with Mia was easy and efficient. Great recommendation!

We were in the house with 2 families including 4 children over the turn of the year and we enjoyed it very much. The house is very cozy and clean and is very quiet overlooking the green. Perfect for a relaxed family time, very close to the sea and by car you can reach beautiful Copenhagen in 60 minutes. The kitchen is very well equipped and the fireplace, sauna and garden are other plus points. I'm sure we'll be back :)

Peaceful family house, recommended for families especially.

Lovely cottage which had everything we needed and with many cozy nooks both inside and outdoors. Lots of lovely facilities for children, including small swimming pool pool, play shed and toys. The house is in a nice location , about 30 min walk (5 min by bike/car) from nice nature conservation area with beach. The local spar, fish shop and strawberry farm are also not far away. A little dust and dirt here and there, but it belongs in most summer houses. Nice and easy contact with the host Pernille, who put the key in the key box with code.

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

We loved our stay at Martins place, and took advantage of great features like the hot tub, fire pit, and proximity to the Fjord. We were 13 people (the max of the property). Although there were enough beds, the downside was some other aspects (especially the small under counter fridge, and no freezer) were not really big enough for 13 people, especially over 4 days. Something to keep in mind if looking for a place for a large group. However, we had perfect weather and the garden is fantastic so we had lots of space in that sense. Martin was also super helpful and responsive.

We recently had the most wonderful summer break staying at this lovely, peaceful cottage in Melby. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt ourselves relax. The cottage is beautifully decorated, kitchen is super well equipped and the beds are very comfortable - easily sleeping our 2 families. Outside, we loved using the pool, snoozing in the hammock and eating on the expansive deck in front of the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is a 10-15min walk to a pretty local beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the pretty Liseleje Beach. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Christian and Pernille were brilliant hosts - easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. Thanks for a truly fabulous stay!

Super quiet place helle apartment Very good for couples or family We enjoyed here

We had a delightful stay. Kim is a very responsive and helpful host, and the house was clean and equipped with everything you might need for your stay. We were impressed by the attention to detail. It’s a quiet neighbourhood with beautiful surroundings. Would recommend having a car, but we managed it all on public transport and the handy bikes at the house. The only confusing bit was the light switches that took some finding! If you’re looking for a comfy space an hour outside of Copenhagen, this is a great place.

We felt very comfortable in the quiet forest location. It's all there, what you need. I especially enjoyed the outside in the patio and in the hammock. And I did a nice evening by bike - thank you for letting us use the bikes. Ditte was very accessible and responded to any questions - thank you for that.

After 25 years of summerhouse rentals in Denmark this is the first time we were so close to perfection. We were 4 adults and 2 kids and everything was well thought out for everyone. Very tasteful decor and everything was of quality… from the dishwasher, dishes, paintings and objects and we particularly appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine, even the sheets and towels were of quality. Beautiful garden, manicured flower, super bbq, and little deer that roam the garden, the beautiful garden furniture, the terrace and the serenity and brightness of the place. The proximity to the beach and the very friendly dock, a little too much pebbles and seaweed. We would love to come back to this house. The washing machine broke down at the beginning of our stay and our host Claus immediately replaced it. We had a very good holiday.

We were so so happy with Nanna and Søren‘s incredible house! We loved the spacious living room and the lovely hand-selected vintage furniture in every room. Even though it was cold we loved sitting at the porch or in the greenhouse in front of the garden watching the stars. We felt really at home. The surroundings were beautiful, offering perfect locations for great walks at the beach. But really, we didn‘t want to leave the house, haha! Definitely coming back in the summer! :)

A very well equipped, cozy and clean summer house in a quiet location. Our dog loved the large, fully fenced garden and went exploring daily. Beach and forest are within walking distance. As well as a bakery, restaurants and an ice cream shop, which were also open in mid-September. The house is not least a great base for exploring North Zealand. Whether Frederiksborg Castle, the Rugolph Tegner Statue Park, Gilleleje or Hundested - everything can be reached in about half an hour's drive. I want to highlight Pernille as a host, who went above and beyond.

Marianne’s house was the perfect place to stay and each member of our party expressed their sadness when it was time to leave. We created some wonderful family memories during our visit. The home was clean, comfortable and had a beautiful patio. We were welcomed into the home before we even arrived with thoughtful messages and drinks in the fridge upon our arrival. I would eagerly stay again and highly recommend.

A lovely place with a sweet and very welcoming host

We had great days in André's apartment. The apartment is chicly furnished and superbly equipped. Large kitchen, huge fridge, cozy sofa - everything your heart desires. Our highlight was the terrace with Louge and seating area as well as the large garden, which our dog also liked. Køge is a cute place with a few restaurants, cafes and even a local brewery. Copenhagen is also close to Copenhagen. We drove by car, but I can imagine that it is also easily doable by train for a day trip. All in all a successful holiday.
