A real gem. A cottage on the edge of Scarborough, couldn’t ask for more if you’re looking for a place to unwind and get away from the hustle. Clean, comfortable, walking distance to beach and shops. We loved our stay there.

What a stunning airbnb. Everything is pristine, designed beautifully, and thoughtful. The garden is so relaxing to sit in and the outdoor patio by the braai is also lovely for nighttime dinners. My husband and I absolutely loved this place and plan to return in the future. It was so peaceful and lovely. The large bath tub and equipped kitchen were also highlights. It is located on the vineyards of a few wine farms and so it was great to walk to Stellenbosch Reserve for a tasting & dinner and also nice to walk along the vines. It felt very peaceful and relaxing.

Ruth's cottage is beautiful - well-equipped, comfortable, secure and spotlessly clean - and is in a terrific location literally a stone's throw from the shops at Cavendish Mall, a short stroll from the lovely Vineyard Hotel, and with easy access to Kirstenbosch gardens and the famous local vineyards. Ruth did a great job of introducing us to the property and ensuring we had everything we needed.

Beautiful surroundings & peaceful. Fully equipped with what you need. Lovely spaces bathroom. Kol-kol pool & garden area was awesome, but would have liked little more privacy.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this delightful little cottage. It was very clean, safe, cozy and peaceful. Actually, the word "serene" keeps popping into my head when I think of our stay! The garden is so very interesting and I spent quite a bit of time simply staring at the various plants and arrays that have been set up. Having breakfast at the outdoor table was such fun and an opportunity for us to bond and plan our day. I highly recommend this cottage; it is a true gem.

We had a lovely stay at the Shell Shack. It is a perfect holiday stop for family of 4. Clean and well equipped and walking distance to one of the nicest beaches in Cape Town. It’s a quiet corner of the world which we loved.

We loved our stay here. The cottage was very cosy and the location is beautiful - watching the sunset from the viewpoint (about 100m away from the cottage) was spectacular. The location was very peaceful and safe, and we could easily and safely walk the 15-20 mins into town. The cottage had everything we needed, and Christeli and Fabian had kindly included some bits for our little one (high chair, baby bath and cot). The plunge pool was a lovely way to wake up in the morning and have a splash with our little one. Fabian and Christeli were very responsive and helpful with any queries. Highly recommended!

If I could move in, I would. John’s place in Betty’s Bay is beautiful and so cozy and peaceful. The view of the ocean from the giant windows is priceless, and I loved sitting there reading my book or sipping my morning coffee. The bed and bedding was extremely comfortable. It was so nice to walk to the beach, which is itself one of the most epic beaches I’ve ever seen with its massive dunes. The house has everything you need, and felt incredibly safe. Another thing I especially loved is that it’s at the edge/corner of the neighborhood, so except for one side of the house, you are surrounded by nature. The special kicker to me was the outdoor shower, where you see nothing but the sun peeking over the grassy mountain. 100% recommend!

This is an absolutely great spot. Incredible sunset views and walking distance to a lovely otter pool inlet in Rooiels Nature Reserve. The braai area is also best placed to shelter you from the summer SouthEasterly wind. Just keep an eye out for the baboons! Illah and Ivan were very helpful. We'll definitely make an effort to visit again.

As good as all the reviews indicate. Mountain view from the deck will calm you down instantly. The space was bigger than expected and everything spotless. Perfect romantic getaway. Will be back.

Nice location. Flat has a little terrace to sit outside. Rooms are spacious and equipped with nice details. Kitchen has basic equipment. Welcome gifts from host are highly appreciated. Wi-Fi not working satisfactorily

We had a great stay here. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. It’s private and peaceful with a magnificent swimming pool to relax at. We will definitely return!

We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful stay at Jenny’s. The cottage is a little slice of heaven - beautifully furnished with meticulous attention to detail. We loved waking up to the sound of birds and the view of lush greenery as the morning sunlight streamed. Jenny was the perfect host and made us feel right at home. We already miss her highly addictive weekly cinnamon buns :-) Thank you so much Jenny for being so wonderful and the best holiday, we can’t wait to be back!

Annie’s place was a wonderful retreat. The scent of jasmine on the veranda was sublime, so too was the beautiful landscaped garden. Annie’s place is walking distance to the coastal cliff paths and close to Fernkloof nature reserve and swimming beaches. The unit is beautifully furnished and decorated, and the bathroom toiletries smelt amazing. Annie is a great host. She gifted us some wine and strawberries - which we appreciated! Annie’s place is walking distance to some lovely coastal sundowner spots. We highly recommend her place!

We had a lovely time at the cottage. Anne was so friendly and helpful. My kids felt at home as they were able to play in the yard. Having access to a fenced in pool was wonderful. Anne took time to visit with us and was prompt when we had questions. We felt at ease and relaxed—even though the cottage is attached to the home, it also felt very private. Would highly recommend her place to young families looking for a kid-friendly place to stay.

Lovely comfortable place. 2 adults and 2 teens. decent lounge to lounge in and lovely enclosed space out the front. suited us in where we needed to be in Cape Town. Linda was a good host - Thank You
