Unwind at this lakefront retreat. The cabin is very private and comfortable. It is an excellent spot for swimming, boating and sunsets. There are two SUP's, a double kayak, a single kayak, and lifejackets. It also has a firepit and firewood to have bonfires at the water's edge. Note: The cabin is well insulated and is heated by wood stove alone. If interested in booking between Oct. and May you must be proficient with the use of a wood stove. Christian's place was perfect. I have nothing negative to say about the place. It was private, peaceful and had everything you need including condiments/spices and a fully equipped kitchen. The space was perfect for 4 of us as it was spacious and had a functional layout. Christian and his co-host were very responsive and laid back. Felt like we were staying at the family cottage; no worries and felt right at home. Thank you!

Our family had a great few days on this beautiful property. It had everything we needed to make our eggs and bacon breakfasts and spaghetti and barbecue dinners . Lots of room for our5 kids to lounge by the fire and watch movies downstairs while the adults were relaxing upstairsThe linens were great made everyone feel so cozy beds were comfy and we really appreciated lots of fresh towels . The frozen lake on the property was beautiful to look at and sit by ,enjoying our coffee or wine .we called it glamping but it was much more with the updated amenities . Kids loved being outside and we all enjoyed the peacefulness

Chris was wonderful to communicate and rent from! Although there were some issues with the previous group leaving items at the rental and breaking a few of the items. Chris was able to communicate with us (with limited cellular service) and continue to create a welcoming atmosphere. My family thoroughly enjoyed the stay that we had at The Nack Shack and would recommend it to anyone else who is interested in having a vacation away from all the other noise. Chris was a wonderful host, and I would love to rent his place from him again. Thank you Chris!

We had the best weekend at Archie’s Cabin! It was cozy, clean and had the comfiest beds. The outdoor shower was also very clean and a cool experience. Its also right on the water so I can imagine it is even better in the summer. Kit and her co-hosts were incredibly helpful and quick to respond to our questions (we had a power outage due to high winds - thank goodness for the indoor fireplace!). I would highly recommend this cute cabin for a getaway and we cant wait to come back this summer!

What a beautiful location and place. This was our second stay and we highly recommend it for anyone interested. So well equipped and the lake and sunsets are stunning. Could spend forever on that dock. Jeff and Lindsay are great hosts….so responsive and helpful. Also great fishing and boating and the dog loved all the room to roam around on the acreage. Thanks again!!

We were very pleased with our stay at the cottage! It was exactly how it was described, and the lake/view was breathtaking! We stayed for 4 nights with our daughter and we were all sad to be leaving on our last day. The cottage was fully stocked with everything needed, including everything for outside (firewood, boats, beach towels, etc.). Jill was great to deal with - provided great instructions, information about the area, and responsive! Overall, great experience!
