Big beautiful house with the most amazing views of the bay. We arrived to a lovely warm house with the fire going and heaters on which was perfect for a rainy evening. The home had everything we needed to cook, and the dogs loved the big enclosed yard to run around outside in the next day when it was all dry and sunny. Caroline was super helpful when we woke up to a flat battery the next day, which we managed to get sorted. Lovely host, amazing property and beautiful views. Thank you!

The only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The whole family loved the house and the layout. You have movie room. Game room with video games, air hockey and fuse ball table. Spacious, clean with nearly all the amenities you can think off. You won't regret it at all.

Gorgeous view from up there, clean and huge space, super comfy bed. Vicki is a very friendly and accommodating host. She was kind enough to ready the space in about half an hour when I got rained out from camping. Street parking is on a very very steep hill and daily life noise from upstairs is pretty loud while in bed (footsteps, dogs running, drawers opening, etc) but not bad in the living room.

The house is in residential area in Christchurch so fairly quiet and peaceful compared to other places I used to stay. The floor area is spacious plus a huge secured back yard for children to play. Maggie is a responsive host which provided us barbecue facilities that we really appreciated. We stayed for four nights and really enjoyed our time. Would recommend this place to other travelers too.

Amanda’s place was GORGEOUS! Views so breathtaking that you could gaze for hours. Privacy and open airiness in equal measure. Super comfy beds and couches made it so restful and relaxing. Lovely shower—pretty much a day spa experience all around! Amanda was flexible, communicative, and gracious. We LOVED our weeklong stay, told all our friends, and definitely hope to book again in the future!

I was so lucky to find this beautiful place. It was a last minute decision to get away. My beloved old dog has passed away and i wabted time out and peace and to be around nature. Hangers hut fit the bill. I slept with currains open as the view was amazing. Took a long bath in the inside bath, yes they have a outside one. Lit a candle and sat in dark just viewing the scenery. Lots of walks nearby. i would recommend to anyone to stay here...i definitely would again. Thank you Michelle

If you're looking for a place far away from the noise and hassle of modern city life, this is the place to be. The road leading past the property, ends in the next village and only a 4x4 will really get you further from there. So quiet hours in the garden are guaranteed. We had everything from light rain and wind to hot evenings and enjoyed the spacious piece of land and house.
