Cottage vacation rentals in Fairfield County

We had a wonderful stay at this cute cabin on Lake Logan. The neighborhood was quiet, and the view walking out in the morning overlooking the lake was beautiful and relaxing. Our favorite feature was definitely the hot tub, located on the back patio, as it was very clean and private. It was the perfect way to relax in the evening after a hike in the park. We found the bed to be comfortable and comparable to our queen bed at home (other reviewers have questioned the size). A short drive from The Coffee Emporium for breakfast or a delicious snack, and minutes from both the park and downtown Logan, the location was ideal. If you’re looking for a simple, no-frills, comfortable cabin close to it all, this rental is for you.

Place was wonderful! Caught lots of small fish without leaving our cabin! Clean, friendly. This was our 2nd time staying at their cabins. Would definitely recommend!

Had a wonderful three days in the cottage! Loved the kitchen—it had everything you needed and more. As someone who loves to cook, it was great to be able to whip up a full meal. The cottage is extreme cozy and extremely clean and organized. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after some hiking. Speaking of attractions, nothing seemed more than 15-20 minutes away and the roads provide more beautiful scenery. Highly recommend.

Sarah’s place is a wonderful getaway! Everything you need to enjoy the area or just rest and recharge. Sarah is extremely responsive to any questions or concerns.

Great place to stay! A good location to the state park. Loved the hot tub and game area. Everything was very clean and had what we needed. Would stay here again!

We had a nice relaxing few days. Zero issues and host was always responsive with any questions we had. Very helpful with directions as GPS wants you to take backroads. DONT DO IT!!!! We had a unique visitor on the last morning. An owl was just staring at us through the French doors. Overall will definitely stay there again.

This is a beautiful cabin located in a private setting. I would highly recommend a four wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicle as the cabin is located at the top of a very steep incline. The hot tub was pristine and felt great after a long day of hiking. The previous reviews are fairly accurate in regards to water issues, but it appears as though Book Hocking has finally gotten most of those problems fixed.

Was a cozy home on a beautiful property. Close to all the area attractions. Ann was easy to communicate with and quick to reply. The festive decorations added to our stay.

The place was perfect for our needs. We are a family of four with two teenagers and a dog. There was plenty of room and it was incredibly comfortable. The location was really fun and the parking on the next block was convenient. We were in and out a lot as we were visiting friends and family in the area for three days and this home was just what we needed as a home base between our social times! We had a wonderful quiet escape at Howdy’s and even got to enjoy the first snow of the season! We loved the big front porch to drink our coffee and really appreciated the small touches that make the space more comfortable, like throw blankets and timers for lights

The place was absolutely beautiful. We got to see plenty of deer and other wildlife right in the backyard. The amenities were plentiful and had way more space than what the pictures showed. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb and would return myself.

We enjoyed our stay. the location was great, and we were thankful for the discount code at 3rd and sycamore! Jennifer sent automated messages daily, but didn't answer my specific messages. Not a problem for us, as I assumed the answer to my original question upon booking and the second message was just thanking her for the code and didn't really need a response...but if there were an issue, hopefully she would respond.

Robert was quick to respond and the place had everything I needed for a night in Columbus.

This was the perfect place for our family Christmas get together. The cottage was very clean and the kitchen had everything I needed to fix dinner. Kelly and Sam gave me immediate responses to any questions I had. The little touches made our stay one of the best air bnb’s yet. Thank you Kelly and Sam for a relaxing stress free no hassle weekend. We will be back.

It's a very nice place and would be a great place during the spring and summer to spend time at the lake.

This was a great spot for a quick weekend getaway. We visited in the winter time, so there wasn’t much to do by the lake but the house was cozy, and it was nice being able to walk to the brewery. We also were granted a flexible check-in that helped us make the most of our stay. Would recommend!!

Cute cottage. The place was clean and even decorated for Christmas! Karen and Brad have a nice notebook with information about the cottage and things to do nearby. We stayed in winter and did not use the cute patio- would be fun in the summer.
