Vacation rentals with a patio in Fairfax County

I had an amazing stay at this charming Airbnb! The location is perfect—quiet, peaceful, and tucked away in a lovely area, yet still close to everything you need. The unit itself is quaint and thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities you'd want for a comfortable stay. It’s clear that a lot of care has been put into making this space cozy and functional. The added bonus of a private outdoor patio was a real highlight—perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. The hosts were incredibly attentive and made sure everything was just right. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!

The quiet and the view were great. Apt. very clean. Kitchen has everything for cooking, but choice of food spots two staircases down the street. Malls, shops, grocery store, ice rink. Apt. I find the mark up booking a renting is too expensive for me -- so whether I got my money's worth or not is not really related to alex's place. But for a good get away this was a clean quiet place with a responsive and conscientious host.

I highly recommend this location. Top quality (the apartment, the building, and the surrounding neighborhood). The location was in walking distance to numerous amenities, and the parking garage is a huge asset. If I weren't moving to Alexandria, I would stay in this location again.

I stayed here with my husband and son for a short stop over in DC. This is a great location with restaurants and shops within walking distance, you can also walk to the metro in about 10 minutes. The place is clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was very responsive and helpful. A great stay!

Wonderful stay!! The neighborhood was GORGEOUS and we felt very safe. The Airbnb was so clean and spacious and beautiful. The walls are a bit thin and the street is a bit loud so the white noise machine provided by the host was a LIFESAVER. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much!

This place has a neat balance of old colonial feel with modern upgrades where you need them. The neighborhood is great. You are right on King st which can get a bit noisy, but it was quiet during sleeping hours.

I really enjoyed my four-night stay at Lena’s apartment in Alexandria. I appreciated the thoughtful design and amenities throughout, including strong Wi-Fi for working remotely, a comfortable bed, and washer/dryer. The location was quiet with great access to shops, coffee, and the gym. Lena was a very gracious and responsive host throughout the booking and stay, always ready to answer questions. I will book here again for my next trip back to the DC area.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! Rob was an amazing host—he gave us a great tour of the house, provided metro and bus passes, and even let us check in early when we arrived ahead of schedule. The apartment is spacious, clean, and located in a very safe area, so we felt comfortable coming back late at night. It also has excellent bus connectivity to DC, making it super convenient for sightseeing. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Highly recommend!

GREAT STAY! The house is beautiful and we had plenty of room. Unfortunately, we attended for a funeral, but we were able to enjoy family and be comfortable during our time of sorrow. We had a wonderful time staying in this home and would highly recommend!

Exactly as it appeared on the listing! We had a great visit with our group of 8. The leather-type futons aren't incredibly comfortable, but that's to be expected! Easily accessed public transportation and well-appointed kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, spacious home, kitchen, and bedrooms. Luxurious, updated bathrooms. Felt right at home! Enjoyed our stay! Plenty of space for our group of 6 adults. Close to everything in the D.C. area. Tyler provided a lot of helpful information and was a great host. Would highly recommend! Can’t wait to return again!

Great place, nice neighborhood. Walking trails nearby, close to restaurants and grocery store. House is clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. Felt very comfortable there.

Our stay with Maggie was an excellent experience. The place was clean, the kitchen fully equipped and with all needed amenities included. Maggie responded very quickly and helped us with directions and instructions, even to get us the parking permit for our vehicle. The location is very safe and it is easy to walk around. Close to King Street, where you can get a nice experience for shopping and dining and with a free trolley. Close to a train station to get to DC. Highly recommended!!

Patricia’s place was perfect - she was super accommodating and easy to communicate with. House had everything we needed, including a nice backyard. Happy to recommend her to anyone looking for place to stay in the DC-Chevy Chase area.

In town with work colleagues... Jovan's home could not have been more perfect. Though we did not spend much time there, it was spot on for what we needed. Multiple king beds, ample bathrooms, well appointed kitchen, and many spaces to gather. Quick access to DC, yet incredibly peaceful. Highly recommend for large groups.

Leslie is a fantastic, thoughtful and kind host! She checked on us when we arrived later than expected and was very responsive. Leslie was so gracious with all the amenities provided in her condo. Her condo is well kept and well stocked with all the items one might forget during traveling.

I had a great stay at Kia’s place! The condo is in a convenient location, making it easy to get around, and it’s fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

I really enjoyed staying at Tara’s apartment. All the amenities were there. It was nice to have air conditioning after walking all over the city during the humid summer days. Wifi was great. I highly recommend this property. It is very close to public transportation so easily got around. Tara is a great host.

I stayed here for a couple days while I had meetings in the area. The place was clean and very convenient to and from all my meetings. I appreciate how responsive Elizabeth was and all the instructions she provided. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.
