Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Fairbanks North Star Borough

Cool place on the river. Hot tub was a bonus.

This spacious accommodation was very comfortable for 4 adults. It was in a quiet neighborhood away from downtown Fairbanks, but easily accessible. We would definitely choose to stay here if we visit Fairbanks again.

Kate’s home was perfect for my roller derby team as we travelled up to Fairbanks for an event with Fairbanks Roller Derby. The location was convenient for access to the venues we needed. Home was very clean and well stocked, just as described.

Agulceana's home was absolutely perfect for our stay! We felt right at home. The place is absolutely spotless and so well-kept-- truly so comfortable. There is plenty of space, the beds are very comfy, the rooms had nice darkening shades, huge TV in the living room, half bath in addition to the 2 full baths was really convenient too. Check in and check out were super easy and Agulceana was super responsive. Awesome brewery, Latitude 65, is also a one minute walk from the house and the breakfast burritos and coffee from Little Owl Cafe (3 min walk) made for a quick and tasty breakfast. Couldn't recommend Agulceana's house enough!

We stayed at Casa Tanana in the spring. We had a great time. Seeing many birds and other wildlife out of the amazing atrium. It is close enough to Fairbanks to do activities there, but also on the way to Denali and Chena springs if you want to go on a big trip. The only regret we have is we couldn’t stay at this beautiful place longer.

Brenda’s cottage was such a gift and delight to stay in, as I was needing quiet and rest before meeting with friends a couple days later. The cottage is centrally located, walkable and bus friendly, with downtown and many eating options within 15 minutes. Living room and dining room were family friendly, and I was grateful to be able to host a friend for dinner one of the evenings in the warmth of the space. Extras of toiletries, blankets, cozy items available. Wifi was excellent for working remote. As a single person, I felt safe coming and going — and really appreciated Brenda allowing me to check in earlier. Washer and dryer in basement was icing on the cake. Absolutely recommend Brenda’s cottage, and would gladly request to be a guest again.

We spent four unforgettable nights at Wendy and Drew’s studio in North Pole, and words can barely do justice to how perfect everything was. The place is absurdly comfortable, meticulously thought out in every possible detail, and equipped far beyond what we ever imagined. The kitchen had every single appliance you could dream of – all modern, high-end, and in perfect condition. We cooked full meals with complete ease, thanks to the incredible range of utensils, cookware, and thoughtful extras. And speaking of thoughtful: Wendy even stocked the place with food basics, spices, and more – it felt like home the moment we walked in. The bed? A cloud. The sheets? Luxury hotel-level. The pillows? Northern Knights was a great place for our family of 6. It had 3 generous bedrooms, a full bathroom (with plenty of towels, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, and soap), a garage, laundry facilities, a kitchen (complete with Keurig coffee maker and pods, teas, and electric tea kettle), and a homey touch throughout. We stayed over the week of Christmas, and Donna had tastefully decorated the home with a tree, stockings, and garlands. She was always helpful with tips and advice about the northern lights and answered our questions. We’d absolutely recommend Northern Knights, don’t hesitate to book it for your trip to Fairbanks!

We had a great time at Adam’s place. The apartment is in a very quiet neighborhood and only a 7-10 minutes drive to restaurants and grocery stores. It was also a quick 15 minutes drive from the airport, which was great considering that we arrived at midnight. The apartment has its own heater that you can control, unlike some other listings we have seen, so we stayed warm the whole stay. The shower pressure and temperature was excellent too. We wanted to be able to cook our own meals, since we were trying to catch the lights, our schedules didn’t quite match the restaurants. We found everything we needed to cook. We were a bit concerned with other reviews mentioning that there was some noise from the house at the time of the reservation, but we barely noticed any in our stay. We would love to stay at Adam’s place again!
