Cabin in Fairbanks
4.87 out of 5 average rating, 92 reviewsLog Cabin with Hot Tub
Gorgeous cabin! It's tucked away enough to have plenty of privacy while being close to many places in town worth checking out. Property is well taken care of, yard was spacious, hot tub felt fantastic, and the hosts provided enough to keep us warm (fantastic blankets, personal heaters in the two bedrooms). Will stay here again if we ever return to Fairbanks!

11 out of 10 and even better than we were expecting. The views were spectacular and we were able to see the aurora Borealis two nights from the property. One of the best places we’ve stayed and fully worth it. Colleen was super helpful when we had questions and the property is a dream.

This was probably my favorite Airbnb that I have ever stayed, thanks to the wonderful hosts and beautiful landscape! The inside was very welcome, the drive down was all plowed while I stayed during the big snow storm. The hot tub was nice and warm and the lights around the cabin were so welcoming. This is a wonderful place to watch the northern lights, I’ll definitely be staying again!

Great place for our winter vacation in Fairbanks. Crystal house is very sweet. When we came the light is fully on and It’s looks like Santa Claus house. The house is far from an other neighbor and main road so is very quiet and privacy. The every thing is nice and clean. Beautiful living room with nice decorations. The hot tub is still warm and nice. Everything is great and must be recommend for my other friends when they come to Fairbanks.

This was truly an amazing stay. My sister and I came out here in October and we were able to see the northern lights so vividly. This place is located close enough to the city but far enough where there’s no light pollution. We saw the lights so vividly. Also, the place is very cosy and soo soo dog friendly. I can’t thank you enough Susan. Love the place

I enjoyed my stay here, plenty of space, nice being just outside of town to see the northern lights right from the cabin, but not too far out of town where you felt secluded as a female solo traveler it was perfectly located. I enjoyed the coffee that was provided. all in all a great trip and roads are nicely plowed to get to the cabin in the winter time!

My best friend and I went on a bucket list trip together in Nov. and stayed at Bills place. We couldn't have asked for a better place for us. We are nonsense girls and the tiny house was exactly what we wanted. It was warm, the bed was super comfy, and the kitchen was perfect since we were on a pretty tight budget. Bill was very gracious, easy going, and great to chat with. He gave us ideas for things to do in the freezing temps and answered questions we had about the area. Our flights were delayed causing us to get there 10hrs late, arriving around 4am. When I let him know we made it I mentioned that we couldn't find the plug on our rental car for the block heater because we were just too exhausted. When we woke up later on and went outside we saw that Bill had come over and plugged in our car for us. I can't tell you what a relief that was! Another thing that was super nice was opening the wood burning stove and it was all ready to go with a perfect kindling teepee ready to light! ❤

Robin’s nest was perfect! The space was clean and cozy. The wood stove added to that cozy feeling, specially while experiencing -30 degree weather and the heated floors are an awesome feature! The space had everything we needed for us to cook our thanksgiving dinner and my kids enjoyed the family board games available for us to use. My kids enjoyed the bed upstairs (no complaints on the mattress, more specifically no complaints from my 17 year old teenager) and my husband and I were able to sleep throughout the night in the bed downstairs, the mattress was comfortable. Robin and Charlie were very communicative and responsive, greatly appreciated that. The location was spot on, close-by to everything but still secluded and quiet. Costco is roughly an 18 minute drive and there is a Safeway about 8 minutes away. We highly recommend Robin’s nest, if the opportunity presents itself for us to return to Fairbanks we would love to stay here again!

Highly recommend Trudy’s beautifully located cabin! It is quaint, peaceful, secluded enough for privacy & lack of light pollution, yet still close enough to town for eateries & shopping! The cabin looked just as pictured in the posting. Living & dining room furniture were well-appointed; shower stall was spacious; & bed was comfortable! Trudy’s communication was open & prompt, detailed, helpful, & she was easily accessible. She was quick to respond as well as react with regard to any issues & requests. Again, we highly recommend Trudy’s cabin & look forward to coming back in the future!

This cabin is super cozy, super calm and the perfect mid winter (or summer) getaway. Hard to believe it’s hand built! Everything is super nice, but still gives you that cabin feel; the radiant floor heating is a game changer and the soffit lights are a super nice touch. Will for sure stay again!

Brooke place was an amazing place for a couples getaway with amazing location by the airport while remote enough you get a beautiful view of the night sky. Only thing to mention which isn’t so much a complaint as much as PSA to the next guest is the shower is rather small. Me being 5’8 just barely fit so I can imagine someone being 5’10 or taller will have trouble. Can’t expect a big shower with the space available but just a heads up. Other than that Brooke was amazing and always available to communicate and would love to visit again sometime in the future.

The stay was absolutely wonderful, with every detail thoughtfully curated to reflect an enchanting Alaskan theme, from the décor, to the utensils and everything is absolutely perfect. The space was immaculately clean and exceptionally well-stocked, offering everything you could possibly need, including a full array of cooking supplies and spices—perfect for preparing meals while on vacation. Kathie was an outstandingly attentive host, providing fresh eggs and a delightful welcome gift that added a personal touch. A heartfelt thank you to Kathie and Mark for creating such a remarkable and memorable experience! We drank up a lot of hot cocoa and enjoyed this winter wonderland sitting by the fireplace. Would definitely love to stay here again.

Cabin in North Pole
4.98 out of 5 average rating, 98 reviewsRustic Elegance Lodge w/ Running Water
Coziest cabin in a winter wonderland to see the northern lights. Hosts were very responsive. Turned on a flood light at night since we arrived after dark. They replaced the coffeemaker when the one in our cabin was not functioning. Basics supplied! No instructions on how to adjust the heat/temperature so we never did. Would be nice to have instructions on that and how to operate to awesome gas fireplace outside in their guide. Terry happened to pull up during my struggles and gave me crash course on the fire pit. Pros: convenient to North Pole and to Fairbanks while not being in the city, CLEAN, very cozy cabin, responsive hosts, perfect location, private (there are 2 other cabins on property but otherwise a pretty private little area). I cannot stress how nice it was super clean. Watersoftener! 2 small sleds provided. Cons: no porch light, uncomfortable sofa that sinks in middle, water smell(just buy water), good guard dog next door barked continuously at me and the world 🤣
