Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Essex

The rental was perfectly fine for our needs. Some of the instructions in the guest booklet or a little outdated but due to the good communication this was not a problem. The dryer needs a new belt. I dried a load of laundry around 11:30 p.m. at night and it was extremely loud but the dryer did dry the clothes. The lock on the door where you put your code in does not exactly match up to the lock in the door, so it took a few times in order to lock the door. There was plenty of parking on the street and the owner did shovel part of the pathway for safety reasons. My father uses a cane and is not stable on his feet so if you are in Boston when it is snowing it is a little bit of a walk down the driveway to street parking. The hosts were responsive and very friendly. and I would definitely stay here again. the rental was very quaint, clean and very inviting

Would highly recommend! Karen is a fantastic host and very quick to respond. She is the friendliest host I’ve met yet and means it when she says, she wants her guests to enjoy their stay! Beds are super comfy, there’s lots of space and the house had everything we needed.

Perfect location for our needs! Had everything we needed. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. They left OJ and muffins in the fridge for our arrival! The edges of the water froze and made a beautiful winter scene. I can only imagine how beautiful it is during the other seasons. Communication was great and quick! Easy access!

Beautiful space in a quiet lowkey area. Amazing for some peaceful time away with some family.

Karen’s home truly is cozy. We were here two weeks before Christmas and it was decorated and beautiful. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen was clean and well stocked, nice big fluffy towels and I loved the shower! We have stayed in several,places in the Boston area and this is one of the best. Even my dogs loved it!

This Airbnb was one of the best we ever had stayed in! Her house was beautiful, cozy and clean! Johanna was a great host and would definitely love to stay here again!!

We stayed at 8 Lambert Street for nearly a month while visiting relatives in Medford. The house is cozy and well furnished. Did a lot of cooking in the kitchen, which had plenty of cooking equipment, the basics of salt, pepper, olive and vegetable oil, and even a set of seasonings. Because we were staying over Christmas, Beth had done some holiday decorating before we arrived, which was wonderful and made the house very cheery. She was a responsive host and kept us stocked with the basics like paper towels and toilet tissue. She even included a baby gift for our new grandson on one occasion. The house was great for our stay - the steam heat combined with the modern thermostat kept us warm and cozy, even on some very cold nights. It's an older house, yes, but full of charm and warmth. The neighborhood is quiet and there are lots of food choices nearby if you don't want to cook. Highly recommend Nappi's Restaurant (cash only) and Fioritaly Trattoria. Off street parking a plus.

Home was clean and an excellent deal for the size! Had everything we could have needed for our stay in Manchester.

Hanky was very responsive to all inquiries. The only thing we noted was that the dishwasher didn’t seem to be working, but Hanky was OK with us just leaving all dirty dishes in the sink. Loved the location - lots of great shopping and restaurants. Would rent again!

The house was perfect for my family and I- plenty of open space for the kids to play and a great yard- even in December with cold weather the kids loved the play gym outside!! The location was amazing with lots of things to do within a few minutes and the food scene was great. Thanks to Ned for a spotless home and great amenities!! We can’t wait to come back in the summer to use the pool!!

The house was easy to find in a tucked away location. The interior of the house was charming, clutter free and the towels and bedding were extremely clean, and scent free which I always appreciate as someone with sensitive skin. We stayed very warm and cozy. We spent time walking the neighborhood and adjacent trail and loved seeing the history of Marblehead all around us.

We enjoyed our stay so much! Perfect beach stay in the best location! They had everything and we loved the decorations ! We can't wait to visit again!!

The house accommodated our family of five and a dog perfectly, and the common areas allowed us to gather all together as well as spread out by activity: E.G. TV watchers in the living room, game players at the kitchen table, basketball player in the backyard.

This house is a true gem. The home is cozy and welcoming with lots of puzzles and family games to play. The pool is pristine and was so much fun to use. The beautiful trees and flowers provide nice shade and privacy around the pool while also feeling like you’re inside a pollinator garden. The home is an easy walk to front beach and bearskin neck where we enjoyed good restaurants and shops. Trenton and Cassie are great hosts- very responsive and friendly. We hope to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect place for families with children. So close to the beach with all the beach and home necessities you need while on vacation! Quaint town that was quiet but still has plenty of restaurants to visit. Overall, a great place!

Accommodations were exactly as described. Lower level of a duplex with a young family upstairs. Host was very responsive and helpful. Kitchen was well equipped. Back deck was really peaceful and quiet.

What a wonderful stay! The listing was extremely accurate, the space was actually even more spacious than the photos conveyed. The space was clean, cozy and well decorated. It was easy to find and get in. The host was responsive and friendly! The best aspect of this Airbnb was by far the location - convenient to Salem via Airbnb and walkable to so many great restaurants and scenic views in Marblehead. Would absolutely recommend and hope to come back someday!

This was our third stay at Elizabeth’s, it has become our go to place in Hampton when visiting family. As always Elizabeth’s place is clean, quiet, private, comfortable. It is well stocked with every amenity you could need. Elizabeth is a friendly and responsive hostess. Her apartment is highly recommended!

We had a lovely time staying at Julie's unit. My husband and I and our small dog enjoyed our stay. Julie is very easy to communicate with and responsive. The bed is comfortable in a spacious bedroom. The other areas are comfortable and nice. I used the office area to work and appreciated the additional monitor and spacious desk. The unit is conveniently located near two large grocery stores, Star Market and Shop N Stop, and numerous restaurants a few minutes to get to. We ate outdoors with our dog at the seafood restaurants by the beach and also enjoyed a lot of take out from the numerous Asian restaurants on Hancock. It was handy to be able to use the washer and dryer downstairs. We appreciated the on premise parking space. The neighborhood felt quiet and safe. We took frequent walks with our small dog and the neighbors are friendly. There are many appliances to use including two coffee pots, spices, and condiments. Julie is a great host. We would stay again.

It was prefect for our family and the location to the beach made it even better.
