Short driving distance to the coast. Nice and straightforward host. Clean, neat, and tidy. The heat turned on in the cool autumn evening; we are grateful for that. Recommended!

Maja's house is located in the middle of the nature. Both inside and outside you feel right at home. Everything is nicely finished and Maja is a lovely hostess. Highly recommend if you want to visit Silkeborg area. :) Thank you for everything! Self to think of the birthday boy and the sweet attentions.

We had the most wonderful stay: private garden, jetty and lake. It was peaceful and beautiful with amazing wild life - we saw kingfishers! Loved using the canoe to explore the local Danish “ mangroves “ and sail to the next lake. We would love to return some other time!

Big recommendation! This cozy cottage has everything you need if you long for peace and quiet luxury. The subtle smell of smoke in the air, the crackling of the fire pared with quite music from the B&O speaker, the stylish armchairs in front of the fireplace that you can't get enough of looking at it when the morning sun shines through the small windows: everything has its right place and the charm of the old house has been translated into the present. We couldn’t even use all the perks of the property due to our short stay, but we loved every hour. We will definitely come back. Thank you, Gitte & Gunnar

We had a lovely fall holiday house. From the living room there is the most amazing view of the beautiful nature just outside the windows. The location is super good. It's just a short walk through the cliffs down to the beach, and shops and restaurants are also in walking distance. Martin had provided nice instructions before arrival, and everything in the house worked fine. There were a lot of personal items in the house, and in the rooms and bathroom, and that meant there was not so much space for our clothes and toiletries. However, we can still highly recommend a holiday at Martin's house.

Review for Anna's hyggeliges Haus in Denmark We were very lucky to spend Christmas in Anna's wonderful house and it was simply memorable. The house is the definition of "hygge" – incredibly cozy, lovingly decorated and with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The location is fantastic: in just two minutes you will be on the beach where we took wonderful walks – perfect to clear your head and enjoy the sea air. However, the absolute highlight was the outdoor hot tub! Anna is a warm host. She lives right next door and was always approachable if we needed anything – but at the same time we had complete privacy. Thank you for this wonderful Christmas in your home, Anna. We'll be back for sure!

Super cozy and very atmospheric little cottage at the top with lovely views in several directions. Good beds and plenty of hot water in the shower. Well-equipped kitchen . Lovely decorated and comfortable stay.
