My family and I were absolutely enchanted by everything, the house the landscape the Wonder of nature, some views that are priceless, I would repeat if I can, David and his father wonderful and formal people the truth I have nothing but positive words, thank you very much for everything!!!!

Cozy house in a spectacular rural setting. We were 12 people and the house had everything you need to have a great weekend: spacious living room, numerous rooms, outdoor pool and jacuzzy (a shame it was very bad weather and we could hardly use them), wood oven, abundant utensils, etc. The beautiful setting. A lost house between mountains with very beautiful landscapes. And if that was not enough, Roko, the neighboring dog liven us up the times we were outdoors. In short, we were very comfortable and eager to repeat.

The house is very nicely located and equipped with everything you need. Fidel and Ana are very friendly and helpful.

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. The house is great both for spending the end without leaving it and for taking walks in the area. Reinosa and super close supermarkets. Salomé was not able to be more attentive with us, she helped us with everything and cared for us. We will definitely repeat. Thank you very much Salome for everything

We had a great time at Ana's place, the perfect location. Everything was clean and tidy.

Beautiful rural garden refuge in the heart of the Merindades, an area of impressive natural beauty and full of lovely medieval (from 10th century on) cities and towns. Santi has put a lot of time and effort to build his private refuge and we felt grateful he shared with us. Him and his wife were fantastic hosts and full of helpful suggestions. Their dogs Jackie & Chan were affectionate and playful. The place was huge, well decorated and spotless. All amenities, modern kitchen and cabinets, great bathrooms with a jacuzzi, working wood burning stove and a huge garden with a sitting/dining area and pond with ducks. Private parking of course. Butrera is a tiny town with a lovely romanic church but just a few miles of Villarcayo with plenty of restaurants and a Carrefour supermarket. A really unique place in our extensive experiences with Airbnb's. Our one regret is that we were there only two nights but we will be back to this astonishing area before international tourism discovers it.

The communication with José was straightforward and very nice. Fortunately, check-in and check-out were flexible as we had a 16 hour arrival. At the house you get exactly what you book, a rustic and cozy country house without Wi-Fi in the mountains. Perfect for unwinding and relaxing and spending a good time with family or friends. The location is great for countless excursions in Cantabria and to the many great beaches. Liérganes is an idyllic place that invites you to stroll and linger. The evenings in the garden surrounded by the mountain panorama were beautiful and our children used the large pool extensively. We miss the quiet and the ringing of the cow bells already! Maybe we'll be lucky enough to come back at some point. ❤️

I have been delighted, the first thing is that Javier and his wife are charming, they are very detailed with everything and very attentive. The house is amazing, nice, quiet and very clean and tidy. The exterior is stunning, it has a movie-like view. I have had a few days of relaxation and peace. Come back very soon! Thank you so much for everything!!!

It's been a great experience! The place is very quiet and ideal for escaping and disconnecting, what we were looking for. Everything was spotless and Marta was very kind, worried from moment 0 that we arrived well and pending if we needed anything. He recommended us places we went to and deserved every second. 100% recommended!!

The apartment is spectacular, the environment is unbeatable in the middle of nature and with a smell of chamomile that provides you with immense peace. The interior of the apartment made with the best materials and finishes is ideal. I fully recommend it to spend a few days off. We were fascinated and will be back as soon as we get a chance.

the house is in an unbeatable location for hiking of all kinds the environment is very nice, we felt right at home, we did not miss anything until we had a barbecue in the garden where our dog was able to run, Israel was very kind at all times giving us directions from the environment and some tips on where to eat, and to visit thank you very much we will repeat for sure

Everything great! The house is spacious, clean and located perfect for hiking around. In addition, we have traveled with a dog, it is appreciated to be able to make plans away from home a finde and be able to bring it.

We had a great week at Ana's home. She was very keen to ensure that everything was perfect. The house is very well prepared and in a gorgeous setting. We were able to take very good walks. It met our expectations.

An idyllic place to rest and enjoy the most authentic Cantabria. Horses and cows free graze on nearby lands. The views from the terrace are what it takes to disconnect from the everyday hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature. Great for going with friends, as long as you're looking for tranquility. Conchi has been very attentive from the first moment. To repeat!!

A house with a lot of character with a nice garden next to a small river . Close to Liérganes and driving distance to the beaches and Santander. Marta is a welcoming and helpful host. We had a wonderful stay.

A very well-kept house with a lovely garden. There was room for everyone and we could have a very quiet weekend. Host Teodoro was very nice and there was no problem getting in or leaving the house.

Beautifully located house, with views of the mountains and the sea. Walking distance to the marvellous beach. Well equipped house, beautiful views from the bedrooms and the living room. Very nice terrace and garden. We truly enjoyed our stay at Jose's house.

We have traveled my wife and I with our dog. Severiana has been of a charm and has helped us with everything we needed. Ubiarco is a beautiful village close to the coast, the house is beautiful and set with very good taste. 100% recommended, don't miss the chance to stay here. Severiana, we will be back!

A last minute booking led us to discovering this property and location, if you want wild beach and not a lot more it is perfect. Supermarkets are only a 15 mins away. For autumn surf it was simply epic
