Vacation rentals in Emporia Township

My husband and I have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs. We love the personal touches that a host adds to a home and this one really set the bar high! This may have been our favorite place we've ever stayed. The home was beautiful...we played games and listened to vinyls on the Bluetooth record player. The hot tub was incredible. We enjoyed the privacy and views were perfect. We needed a re-set this weekend and it was the place to do it! It's the perfect spot to enjoy with your significant other or the family.

Quick response to questions and was very nice and clean. My wife and I had a great couple of days here. We enjoyed the hot tub/ spa, and sauna. Easy to find and also close to Kansas City or Lawerence as several local restaurants were closed one night during our stay. Would definitely come back again.

The Kottage was just what we needed. Beautiful & peaceful with a lot of thoughtful touches. Kathy’s attention to detail is wonderful. She greeted us at check-in & was responsive to messages, but otherwise we were left to our own privacy! It was bitter cold during our stay, so we did not to jump in the hot tub, but we look forward to enjoying the private patio & lovely garden area at our next visit! The kitchenette set up has all you need (sm fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker & Keurig maker w/ plenty of coffee/tea choices, creamers and even syrups! A hot water pot, sm electric skillet & crockpot are in the closet. Bath linens, robes and soft blankets are soft & snuggly. There’s even a sm electric fireplace in the bathroom for a cozy feel. Firm bed lovers may find the the main bed on the soft side, but the sofa is comfy as well (and pulls out to a bed ) and there’s plenty of extra sheets/blankets! We truly felt rested and at peace!

So enjoyed our stay, wish we could have spent more time there. Everything we needed was there, to enjoy our meals. Furniture and beds were very comfortable and inviting. Wishing we could have used the deck, but weather did not cooperate. Looking forward to coming back in July.

We had an excellent stay at Judine's house. It is very well located and comfortable, all the appliances work properly, and it is a super cozy home. Judine is an excellent host and always responds immediately. We spent a wonderful week with six members of my family in her house!

Manny is a great host! We extended our stay because the accommodations and host are superb.

Kris and Cole are great hosts! Their cottage is a beautiful retreat. It was especially cozy with the recent snowfall!

The house was great. It was as advertised, as well as a quiet, relaxing, and comfortable place. All the guest that went loved it and joked about wanting to move in. It felt like home. Brandie, thanks for renting us your house, we loved it and it had everything we needed. Hopefully we'll be back soon!

Hello all 😇, This was my first solo trip ever . What’s very important to me is my safety. Love that there’s a ring camera ! Starting off the Airbnb sat on beautiful snowy land. And the drive to the Airbnb left me taking a deep breath of relief. Just beautiful , everything looked peaceful , and the other homes on drive to home are beautiful as well . The Airbnb is just as pictured and described, so beautiful! I was like OMG 😱 it’s like a hotel. The kitchen stunning , The bathroom stunning , The bed was soooo comfortable! The decore stunning🪴 I got the best sleep ever, on the soft bed. Also I watched a marathon of twilight movies on big tv in the living room. Everything you need is provided , coffee station (I did utilize ! I had like 3 coffees a day)🤭 Every time I came back from exploring , I felt like I was home you know . Just safe . This house was beautiful! The price was definitely under what the stay was worth. Is smelled good and was comfortable. Very very very clean!!

Great host that is very thoughtful with communicating every detail. My younger daughter was a bit taken aback with some of the "doll art" which is a motif throughout the home. Location is close to Lawrence, KS and has a grocery store nearby.
