Wonderful host, would for sure stay here again. Absolutely accommodating, even helped me with my transportation during my flight day which would not have been possible without him. There are also small markets near by for snacks with reasonable prices so you’re not overpaying.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Elif's place. Its location is fantastic, conveniently within walking distance to local amenities. The breakfast was exceptional; I was very impressed with the variety offered. I only wish we could have stayed longer than one night.

10/10 would recommended this cozy, family owned hotel. They were so helpful and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed for a perfect stay in Istanbul. The airport transfer made my 15 hour layover in the city a breeze.

The location of this apartment was truly great I couldn’t have asked for a better place it was located only two blocks from the Hagia Sophia and central Istanbul. The check-in and checkout process was very easy and the apartment was clean and modern.

A very comfortable stay, definitely worth the money! If we will visit Istanbul for the second time, we would not hesitate to stay in the area near the Old city. This is the area that best represents Istanbul life and is within walking/public transport distance of most attractions and surrounding by many great local restaurants, perfect for backpackers who want to experience a the real city culture. The accommodation is very clean and there is a roof terrace with a great view. If you stay in the off-season in winter, you can even enjoy the use of the terrace. There is also an unlimited supply of hot tea and coffee, which is a quiet and warm living experience.

Our stay at Villa Balloka was truly unforgettable! The property is even more stunning than the photos show, with plenty of spaces to relax and enjoy, making it ideal for our family gathering. Ergin and Mr. Mehmet were fantastic hosts—always helpful and quick to respond when needed. The villa is fully equipped with a pool, basketball court, and movie room. The kids loved it so much, they often chose to stay at the villa instead of sightseeing. We rented a van, which made commuting to sightseeing spots easy. There are also several great restaurants within a 10-minute drive. Ergin's excellent communication made the check-in and checkout process seamless. We can’t wait to come back!
