Elsie is such a wonderful host. She was not even in the area coz she had to be in Pretoria during our visit, but it felt as if she was right next door because of her responsiveness. She made our stay so easy. We were able to contact her from the time we entered the security gate up until we left. The house was gorgeous, exactly like in the pictures. The rooms were spacious, and the bathrooms were clean and beautiful. The kitchen was huge and had all the utensils we needed. We had so much fun and enjoyed the breathtaking view of the sea. Elsie always checked up on us and tried to assist if we needed help, especially with the TV. My friends are singing praises of your establishment and are wanting to come back in the near future.

Absolutely lovely flat. The linens, made by Camille’s company it turns out, were some of the nicest I’ve ever slept on — and I’ve spent a great deal of time in luxury hotels for work. ( If you’re local check out That’s Linen ). If, like me, you’re booking because it’s walking distance to stuff, be prepared for a workout on the way home. But hey, great views don’t come without steep climbs.

We checked in Friday afternoon with my family for the weekend. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The house is exactly how it looks as advertised, great view to wake up too and a walkable distance to the beach. The entire house is well furnished with fresh bedding and towels for us to use. Really an enjoyable place to stay at. The hosts were so friendly enough to let us check out abit later. I would highly recommend this place for everyone ( families and friends).

We had the best time! The place is even more gorgeous than the photos — super light and airy, beautifully decorated, incredible ocean views and and an easy walk to the beach Amazing book collection — so many great reads for lazy afternoons. You can tell a lot of love and thought went into the space. Thulani was amazing — warm, welcoming, and always quick to help if we needed anything. Such a gem! It was the perfect beach break — peaceful, comfy, and totally recharging. Thank you very much, highly recommended.

We arrived around 5pm and found the key in the lockbox. Sandy was very responsive to our needs. There was a problem with one of the air conditioners and she sent a technician out to remedy the problem. The solar panels, inverter and battery were a real bonus as there were a couple of unexpected power outages and we were not affected by them. The house is spacious with beautiful sea views from most of the bedrooms and living areas. It is well decorated and makes for good and comfortable living with more than enough kitchen utensils to cater for our full house of eight people and three dogs. Sipho worked during the week keeping the garden and pool area clean, including cleaning the braai. We used him inside a couple of times to clean at an additional cost paid directly to him. He even washed our cars without being asked to do so. When the deck overlooking the ocean became a bit windy, we used the well protected pool and covered braai area. The pool table and dart board added to the fun

What an amazing getaway - absolutely stunning views, walking distance from the beach and near amazing restaurants and shops. We had our toddler and our senior dog with us, and both of them enjoyed it thoroughly. Felt like home away from home. Will definitely be going back 😀 thank you Margriet for being such an amazing host.

Perfectly located home for those travelling with children and pets. All amenities from shops, restaurants and the main salt rock beach are close by. Ballito is a hop, skip and jump away with all its beaches, shops and restaurants. The pool is a winner for afternoon swims after long days at the beach. You won't be disappointed booking this spot!

Iryna is a wonderful host. Her communication is excellent and her team is warm and friendly. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and has a stunning view. Our furchild was also allowed with no hesitation which we appreciated. There is a daily clean included at no extra charge. Highly recommended stay. Thank you for our checkout gifts :)

Velly was very friendly and accommodating. the housekeeper was literally a phone call away. the apartment is conveniently situated and has everything one needs for a quick getaway. the staircase is very steep though and will not be ideal for someone who has mobility challenges. we had a very comfortable stay and it was excellent value for money.

My family and I absolutely loved staying at Lindsay’s. The place is as pictured; very spacious, clean and great for holiday. The helper was amazing too - so understanding and accommodating throughout our visit. I’d definitely come back!

A beautiful and spotlessly clean home with all the comforts to make our stay a magical experience. The undercover patio is weatherproof and was our favorite place to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature and the lush natural foliage. The monkey troop that passed through daily were curious and not a nuisance at all - we loved watching them for the few minutes that they visited us every day. The home is furnished with an array of interesting and personal items that were fascinating and intriguing. And so many wonderful books to suit all tastes! We were blown away by the dog bed and water bowl that awaited our two small dogs - such a lovely touch! Easy access to the garden for our house-trained dogs. Absolutely no security concerns at all. The estate is a wonderland of walking trails, dams, indigenous natural bush and wildlife. We will definitely be back - 8 nights was just too short! Greg you are an awesome and responsive host, thank you!

Janne's place really is a home away from home. The cottage is peaceful and surrounding by a wonderful garden that overlooks some of the best parts of Durban. We didn't want for anything, the kitchen was well stocked with essentials, the bed was large and comfy, the internet was fast, the aircon is very effective and the cottage was very easy to lock up and go. I highly recommend this spot when in Durban and will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, love Hajra who really takes good care of the place. Marian is always checking in and keeps us updated. This is our third stay and will be returning. Thank you Marian and Hajra.

Shaun was a great Host! Our first day, the municipal power was out, Shaun immediately notified us and left our deep freeze full of ice so that we could keep everything cold that we needed to. The second the power came on he rushed over and set everything up for us. He politely directed us to get to the beach including great restaurant recommendations (that were really amazing). The living space was really amazing, cozy and felt like we were right at home. The kitchen had everything we could’ve possibly needed from food storage containers to fabric softener! The best part of it all his place is dog friendly and our little ankle biter loved it! The yard space we had was perfectly secure and had its own walkway gate. We were not kept on a “curfew” which was perfect. The main beach is literally a 10 min stroll from Shaun’s Place. We had horrible and gloomy weather but with the hospitality we received and lovely place we stayed at made it all worth it!

I really appreciated the thoughtful provision of milk and a pastry. The place looked exactly as described and Philip is an amazing host. Will surely come back
