Cabin vacation rentals in Elk Park

We didn’t want to leave! It feels like a rustic tree house, with the wide porch boasting a plethora of rocking chairs; the gorgeous wooden soaking tub perched on the hill up a steep set of stone steps and surrounded by layers of green leaves filtering the sunlight; the mountains peeking through the foliage; the easy access to the beautiful river and its abundance of excellent throwing stones (a child’s delight); the quaint kitchen and its adorable gas stove; the cozy river rock fireplace; the sweet homey touches like books, board games, art supplies, extra blankets, provisions in the cupboards, and fruit and pastries provided upon arrival. Theresa was so very kind and accommodating in her communications. We loved everything! A note: if you plan on cooking a lot on the stove and are finicky about pans as we are, maybe bring your own as there’s only one nice cast iron (and the wonderful griddle). And if your stay forecasts rain, bring ear plugs—torrential rain on the roof makes a racket!

Had an amazing stay! The location is perfect to Boone and blowing rock! The view from the hot tub was beautiful! Would definitely visit again!

We recently stayed at Tom’s cabin for a birthday celebration weekend and had a blast! The cabin was easy to find (even in the snow storm), the roads in the neighborhood were continually cleared, and we were close to town. Everyone in our party had plenty of space to spread out if we wanted, or gather all in one area if we wanted. The furniture was comfortable, bedding was great quality, and the kitchen had everything we needed! Tom was extremely responsive when we had questions or updates, and was always extremely kind. We loved the cabin and would stay again!

This was my favorite Airbnb ever. So thoughtfully designed, decorated, and wonderfully private despite being close to town. Every detail was so thoughtful, from the labels on every light switch to the quality linens and provided coffee/tea and waters. It felt like staying in a high quality hotel, but much more personal. Spotlessly clean, wonderfully eco friendly, and the views were so beautiful. Just what we needed. Loved the hot tub, fire pit and gas stove inside too. My favorite part was walking in our first evening to find fresh tulips, wine and popcorn, along with a hand written card. ❤️ We will definitely be back.

We always have the best time at 313 Shelter Rock! My kids love exploring the backyard "forest" as they call it, and this trip we were blessed with a beautiful winter wonderland. The kids enjoyed sledding, making smores and building snowmen. The home is the perfect location if you enjoy skiing and snowboarding. It is a quick drive to sugar mountain resort and hawks nest tubing. We enjoyed that again this year. The home is kept beautifully and well stocked, and the host is super responsive to any needs you may have during your stay. We looking forward to enjoying the summer months there this year. This was by far the best cabin experience I’ve ever had! Very private, great views, the place was super clean. The host was very helpful, gave us detailed instructions on how to get there. Will for sure be back!

This place was a great experience for my family. We decided to take a couple extra days on our vacation to visit Asheville. We loved the place so much it was near impossible to leave. The views are great and it is very peaceful. We got very lucky to see snow fall for a whole day (we live at the beach in Florida) so it was awesome for our kids to experience thing. Nick was very proactive to ensure we were safe leaving in case there were icy roads at bottom of mountain. This place is the perfect cabin to really experience the beauty of the area. 10/10 we will definitely be back soon! Cheers!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Husky Hideaway! It was a beautiful space and perfect for myself, fiancé, and dog. All of the restaurants and activities we were interested were easily accessible from this spot. This space was very clean, cozy, and modern while still maintaining a rustic cabin feel. Would absolutely stay again!

Matt and Sara’s cabin in Beech Mountain is a perfect getaway! The space is incredibly cozy and even more charming in person than in the photos. The highlight is the porch overlooking a peaceful creek, where we enjoyed spotting deer during our stay. It’s clear they’ve put great care into making this a relaxing and memorable retreat. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at Buttermilk Acres. The place is beautiful and a lovely get away into nature. The showers were awesome and bathroom was close to the cabin so going outside wasn’t a bother at all (even at 8 months pregnant!)

This was an amazing place to stay, quiet and peaceful. This is a great place to stay if you want to bond as a family, it’s close enough to both beech mtn and sugar mtn, if you love to explore there is plenty of it just on the property itself. The hot tub is amazing, they have everything you need for cooking your own meals, board games. Without a doubt we will be back for our next ski trip, pay attention to when they say a 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended! Thank you all for a wonderful experience

Place is beautiful and well equipped. Driveway pull in is slightly sketchy for low to ground vehicles but perfect other than that.

Beautiful location and lovely cabin! We were so thankful to our hosts for being able to accommodate us and allow us to visit our family for the holidays as WNC recovers from Helene. They were so kind and even left us cookies (+ treats for our pups)! <3

For my first trip to Asheville, this was such a beautiful cabin to stay in! My boyfriend and I were absolutely thrilled with the view of the river, the deck, and the space this cabin offered which was perfect for us. Ceevah & David were so helpful and even provided us with such a cute custom welcome light board upon entering. We absolutely look forward to coming back in the future, and were happy to see that the hurricane didn’t affect this lovely little cabin ❤️

We can't say enough about how much we loved this place. Amazing location, across the street from the entrance to Beech Mountain Ski resort. So quiet, cozy, and comfortable. Denise was probably the most responsive and accommodating host we've ever communicated with. She really cares about her guests and wants them to enjoy their stay. We stayed a week, working, snowboarding, cooking, all the things, and didn't want to leave. We come up often and have stayed at a lot of airbnb's in the area. This may be our new favorite. Can't wait to come back.

One of my favorite AirBnB experiences. I spent my birthday at Ursula’s cozy cabin. It’s even better than the pictures. Ursula prepared a fire for me both nights of my stay and I would fall asleep to the sound of that and the creek trickling behind the cabin. The cabin faces east so watching the sunrise over the mountains was also a special experience. The area is still recovering from Hurricane Helene so expect to drive slow and be mindful of workers repairing the roads. The cabin is outfitted with everything one needs for a cozy getaway, including a large selection of DVDs which I took advantage of. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for a few days. It was perfectly comfortable accommodation for multiple nights, had all the amenities we needed, and the hosts were very communicative and helpful. I would definitely stay here again - and recommend the stay to my family and friends.

We came for our annual retreat to disconnect and plan for our year ahead and wish we could have extended our stay. It felt secluded and quiet but not at all hard to get to or far from local shops. We were lucky enough to stay during a snowstorm and appreciate it all cozied up from the grand windows and indoor fireplace. We’ve already decided to make this our stay for next year’s retreat!

Everything was perfect. Lovely home, charming decor, spacious, and well suited for the 7 of us for holiday. Kitchen was stocked graciously and Becky was a joy to work with.
