Cottage vacation rentals in Elephant Lake

This is our second trip to Greg’s cottage and once again, we are blown away by how incredible everything was. The cottage is cozy and has all basic amenities, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is modern with a wonderful shower, and the kitchen is well stocked. When we weren’t enjoying the hot tub or taking advantage of the new sauna (what a fantastic edition!), we enjoyed lazing around on the couch watching movies. We love Greg’s cottage and will absolutely be back! Don’t hesitate to book this stay!

This was our second time staying at Kevin's Airbnb and definitely won't be the last. The beds are comfortable and there are adequate blankets and pillows for all guests. The kitchen was super convenient with pots, pans, brand new appliances and condiments. Finally, the view and amenities are exceptional. Waking up to the Lake every morning was so relaxing and enjoying the view from the hot tub was definitely a highlight. There are adequate water sport activities such as a private dock, multiple kayaks, canoes and paddle boat. The fire pit is well maintained and the BBQ had an extra tank of propane when the first one ran out. At night, we were able to see lots of stars and take advantage of the comfortable chairs around the fire pit. The Airbnb is only a 20 minute drive to town and we were able to load up on groceries, pick up alcoholic beverages from LCBO/BEER STORE, and get gas. Kevin gave clear instructions on how to dispose of garbage and recycling which is only 10 min away.

We did a girls weekend and we couldn’t ask for more. Pauls place has a beautiful view from the cottage. The dock is across the street with plenty of room to sit and relax. The kitchen had everything you need and is stocked with spices. There was lots of firewood. We did some kayaking and walked the private trails behind the cottage. The beds were also very comfortable. I would go back again.

This was a really nice place Marcin was very helpful and welcoming this spot was the perfect fall getaway with hot tub and steam room we will definitely book again !!! Great experience with a great host !!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Emily's place. Lots of space for our group of 7 people. Direct access to the lake and hot tub really made it worth the drive up. We would love to stay again sometime!

ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! Amanda's cottage is a true gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were in a little slice of heaven. The cottage is beautifully decorated, cozy, and spotlessly clean. Amanda is an exceptional host - her communication is top-notch, and she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of amazing. The little touches, treats for our pup, essentials for toddlers,made us feel so welcome. The location is stunning, with breathtaking view. We loved the peaceful atmosphere there. We can't recommend Amanda's cottage highly enough! If you're looking for a relaxing, rejuvenating getaway, look no further. We can't wait to return! 5/5 stars isn't enough - we'd give it 10/5 if we could!"

My friends and I stayed here for a weekend getaway to celebrate the holiday season! The space was very aesthetically pleasing and matched the pictures. The view from the deck was beautiful and overlooked the Burnt River. My friends and I most enjoyed staying indoors to use the surround sound, projector, fireplace, and kitchen. The heated flooring in the bathroom was a nice touch too. We just wish there were blinds in the living room for some more privacy. Otherwise, we loved our stay and would go back again in the summer!

We had a great stay at Ashley's! It was cozy and inviting with breathtaking scenery and wildlife all around. Very peaceful and quiet :). Ashley was friendly and really helpful. We felt right at home, thank you!

Amazing cottage! unique and thoughtful! loved it!

Davids place was beautiful and made for an enjoyable stay for our group visit. He was responsive and provided all additional details both in our chats as well as leaving a small booklet in the cottage itself highlighting places of interest nearby. The firepit and the gazebo are the most impressive parts of the property. Wifi coverage inside the cottage was fantastic and was very useful for any further research since the cellular network coverage is spotty at best. Bon Echo is just about a 20 minute drive away and there are more places within a 1 hour radius though we chose to mostly have a leisurely time on the property itself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, private fun time in the middle of nature.

My time at the Kate and Matt’s was amazing - from the most beautiful sunrises over the water viewed from the rocking chair in the living room with a cup of coffee, to exploring this quiet lake by kayak, to walks through the bush, to cozy evenings by the fire (inside and out), and nights on the dock mesmerized by the starry night sky - this place is truly a “slice of heaven”. The cabin has everything I needed and was a home away from home. Kate and Matt are lovely and super responsive. Feel very fortunate they open their peaceful space up for others to enjoy. Look forward to going back again.

Had a great time at this property. Even though we stayed at home due to snow we had great view. So many indoor games and fun things to do at the property. A perfect budget friendly weekend getaway. Would love to visit in the summers soon

My friend & I had a fantastic stay at Julie and Roger's charming cottage in Bancroft. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed. They had thoughtfully prepared a cozy fire for us, setting the perfect ambiance for our winter retreat. The cottage itself was well-equipped, with a kitchen stocked with all the essentials we needed to cook meals during our stay. It served as a wonderful home base for exploring the beautiful surrounding areas (Eagles Nest is a must visit!) Julie and Roger were fantastic hosts, providing helpful tips and recommendations for local attractions and a lit up Christmas tree in the cottage itself. We highly recommend their cottage for a peaceful and enjoyable stay in Bancroft.

This cottage is an absolute gem. We had the best time, as did our golden retriever, by far one of his funnest weekends ever!!! The sandy beach was perfect for him. We loved the docks, kayaks, row boat, paddle board, all so fun and peaceful on the calm lake. The cottage was in a great location, easy to find. The inside of the cottage was so cozy. Minden is so close and such a cute town. Thank you!!!

Our stay was perfect, chalet had everything you could ask for and more! We stayed for work so we didn’t get a chance to go to the beach, or play any of the ample board games, but the kitchen was wonderfully stocked and the shower had great water pressure! Could not have asked for a better stay!

Jaan & Nithya’s place is a perfect abode for someone who’s looking for a quiet, private place to relax but also wants to enjoy waterfront benefits since they have ample kayaks for the guests. Moreover, I loved the location because it’s just a few minutes drive from the Fenelon Falls town, if you want to go for some grocery or to explore the town. Amenities were as mentioned except that they don’t provide soap, shampoo and conditioner, and oil so one must not forget to bring from their home. Also, they kept enough stuff to entertain yourself such as pingpong table, bbq stove, trampoline and ofcourse the kayaks. Lastly, we enjoyed our stay and would return sometime in future.

Once again we had a great stay! This was our second year staying at Kunals' place and it was just as we expected. Kunal went above and beyond to accomodate us. Unfortunately a wk. before, due to a bad storm, the liner of the pool was damaged so the pool was inoperable. This is one of the main highlights of Kunals' place for us so it was a little disheartening because we were there for 8 days...HOWEVER, once again Kunal came through!! He purchased an 18ft back up pool and had it assembled and ready to go for our arrival so that we could still enjoy a pool!! My sister and I had a great time, enjoyed the peace and quiet and would stay at Kunals place over an all inclusive Carribbean trip anyday! House was clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed. Kunal gave us late checkout which was greatly appreciated! We will definitely be doing an extended stay next summer and are so looking forward to it! Thanks Kunal, you are a great host and we thank you for being so accomodating!!

A very beautiful cottage and setting - Jeff was the perfect host - responding quickly and being very accommodating. The cottage is a piece of paradise, serene and relaxing - highly recommended.

The deck with hard covered gazebo, dining table and lots of deck chairs allowed us to enjoy the beauty of the lake and outdoors, even when it rained. The living/dining area had lovely low windows which allowed views of the lake and loons from indoors. The beds (queen, double & single) were extremely comfortable.

Amazing stay! We had a group of 10 people and the cottage had more than enough room for everyone to comfortably sleep and hang out. The cottage doesn’t have wifi, but abundance games and activities make up for it. We had everything we needed and more. The lake was so wonderful, it has some shallow spots and isn’t rocky, so it’s great for everyone. Edgar and Anita were great hosts, super helpful and responded quickly. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wants a peaceful getaway!

Mala and Terry were excellent hosts — very responsive and helpful when we forgot to bring some important items. The space was clean, with beautiful high ceilings and a nice open layout. The home is in a peaceful forest with idyllic views. We had the best winter getaway we could have asked for.
