Doris Cottage, Hot Tub, 1 Bed, Barn Conversion

JayRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This charming, peaceful cottage in Brecon was everything me and my girlfriend hoped for and more. Nestled amidst the stunning countryside, the cottage offered a perfect blend of comfort and tranquillity, making it an ideal getaway from the hustle of the city. The interior was cosy and well-kept, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. From the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable bed and inviting living space, every detail was carefully considered. The surrounding area was breathtaking, with views of rolling hills, nature and opportunity for walks. What truly stood out was the open air wood fire hot tub. It was the perfect space to unwind, recharge and star gaze. Debbie and Roger were incredibly welcoming and provided everything we needed for an stress-free stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting, this cottage in Brecon is perfect.

Glovers cottage: private hot tub and super king

AlanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed for four nights, as we wanted a quiet get away and that's what we had. The place was refurbished to a very high standard, with quality furnishings and facilities. I was impressed of the Aga oven and hottub. The location is tranquil and only 20 minutes drive to Aberystwyth. Thank you for our stay.

The Stables: Cozy cottage with views and a hot tub

WojciechRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Wanted a night away, a break from the city life. This cottage was wonderful, peaceful and quiet. Beautiful area. Wish it wasn't so windy when we arrived so we could explore a little more. We did however make the most for the cottage because of the weather. Had the log burner on in the evening with the logs provided. It felt warm and homey. We arrived slightly earlier, messaged Jeremy, received a swift response confirming we are okay to check in 30 minutes early which we really appreciated. Amazing break, highly recommend!

Y Boidy Bach

TiffanyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We booked with less than 24 hours notice, Leanne moved us in to the smaller cottage, which was indeed perfect for us, as we didn’t need all the bedrooms anyways. The garden was secure so perfect for the two dogs. The kitchen has more pots/pans utensils than my own kitchen, I seen on other reviews of quests being too cold, we didn’t find that at all in the slightest, it was perfect. The fire a lovely touch.. then the magic happened, we jumped in to bed, and oh my days, it was the softest bedding and sheets.. reminded me of my late grans washing… and the smell!! Omg I need to know what you use!! We will definitely return with the kids and spend longer next time. Thank you so much for putting us up with such short notice. The hot tub was an added bonus.we loved everything about it. We used the clothes drying rack to stop the dogs getting in to the lounge, although they did come in to chill on and off. But they were happy enough in the kitchen which was spacious. Two back doors was a bonus

Gwardolau Cottage Wye Valley Retreat.

VeronicaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wonderful comfortable cosy cottage. Karl and his mum are great hosts very friendly and welcoming. Excellent location for peace and quiet yet village fairly near by (do need a car though)Wished we could have stayed longer especially as they had snow the next day. If you had to be snowed in anywhere this would be our choice. The air is so clean and fresh and just walking down the road you will see red kites overhead magnificent site.

3-storey fisherman's cottage, with 3 bedrooms

AliceRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Stayed for the weekend to watch the fireworks, we had a great stay! The cottage was great and had everything you would need for a weekend, even some snacks on arrival which was a nice touch. No parking for the cottage but very useful to have the parking permit meaning we could leave the car in a near by car park for the duration of our stay. Great location being able to easily walk into the town, the steps to the cottage weren’t too much of an issue. Easy to check in ourselves and Emma was very helpful and quick to respond. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Cosy Welsh 3 bed dog friendly canalside cottage

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The lock house was amazing, if we could move in we would. You can tell the work and love that has gone into the place and it shows in the character. The location and scenery was picturesque, me and our dog really enjoyed waking up early, watching the sunrise and cows wake up and wonder outside. The house felt like a home, and I was very sad to have to leave. The location was brilliant 10 min walk away from the local pub and a few minuets drive to the local town. We went for a walking holiday which the location gave us plenty of. If you’re thinking of booking this place, do it, you won’t regret it.

Flagstone Cottage, Broadley Farm

Jean-MaryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wonderful long weekend at Flagstone Cottage, the most peaceful place we’ve ever been, no car noises whatsoever and beautiful scenery. Cottage was exactly as described. We asked for the BBQ to come back out and Clare actually brought out all the outside furniture for us to use which was a nice surprise when we got back from our day trip. Our 5yo daughter loved the mezzanine bedroom and being able to have multiple baths a day (we only have a shower at home). The walk from Llanthony Priory up Hatterhall hill is amazing and the pint in the priory grounds at the end was very scenic and rewarding! Hay-On-Wye is well worth a visit, Abergavenny also.

Aberdar Country Cottage and Cinema Cabin

KatieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Tim's place was lovely, 4 generations of our family (age range 12-92) stayed and there was lots for everyone to do. There are so many cycle rides and walks to do straight from the door without having to drive. Our favourite was a ride around llyn brianne, to Tregaron and back. The garden is great and our daughter loved the games room and everyone enjoyed the cinema cabin. There were excellent books in the house, including lots of local interest books. The house guide was also very useful.

Cosy couples bolthole heart of Brecon Beacons ❤

NkosiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was the most perfect stay! We couldn’t fault it at all. Upon an early arrival our end, we were kindly greeted by Dominie’s lovely sister whom let us in a little bit early (much appreciated after a 3 hour drive). The cottage is so beautiful with the most breathtaking of views! It is fully equipped when it comes to cooking and has lovely little touches like hot water bottles and robes which is much needed for this time of year! Loads of info on the local area and things to do is provided. Absolutely loved it and would absolutely come back, highly recommend, Thankyou Dominie x

Luxurious Ancient Cottage with Stunning Views

PatriciaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Vicarage cottage is one of the most beautiful holiday lets at which we have ever stayed (we usually stay in around 4/6 a year). The attention to detail in its restoration is second to none. It’s obvious a great deal of thought/ time and love has been poured into it. The cottage is scrupulously clean. Considering the amount of beams there isn’t a speck of dust to be seen. Bedding is immaculate . It is supplied with hand wash/ t.rolls etc. The gardens are a delight. John and Paul are very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions regarding the restoration and history ( as well as being a delight to chat to). We cannot recommend this cottage highly enough. Thank you both for a wonderful few days. Next time we are staying longer…

Beehive Cottage.

LindsayRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We booked a last minute half term get away and were worried it would be a bit far from the coast, but actually it gave us the best of both worlds to explore multiple beaches. Sarah was friendly and very responsive, helping us with an issue with the TV and sorting a lovely amount of firewood for us when we forget to pick any up. The house was spotless! Thanks for a lovely stay Sarah!
