Spacious & Charming Gold Coast Home on the Island

Great place for travelers looking to visit the bay area or for families visiting relatives here in Alameda. 5 min drive to Alameda Ferry and 2 min walk to SF bus (25 mins to SF). This is a 1 bedroom, one bath duplex in a great neighborhood. Although its a 1 bed unit we do have a set of bunk beds in the bedroom and a pack-n-play crib for a infant. Its great for a couple or a family of 4 who would rather have access whole house rather than squeezing into a hotel room.

Enjoy nature & great design in one gorgeous location. We are 200 ft from beach. Rentals usually have 4 nt min stay (except for holidays). High season (Sept thru Mid Oct) has 5 nt min stay with check in days on Fridays (but ask if you want Thurs check-in) . Longer stays possible, just ask. Very welcoming. Everything I needed to be comfortable and functional - including remote work situation - and great hiking just outside the door, during a particularly stressful period in my life.

Jonathan's place was truly like home. We particularly appreciated the full kitchen, well-equipped, which enabled us to cook several meals rather than always eating out (although the neighborhood has many interesting ethnic restaurants). The beds were comfy -- both had reading lights -- and screens in both bedrooms and the living room.

The house was really clean with nice amenities and well stocked. Sheets, towels, beds and furniture were comfortable and of good quality. Nice view of the cove and a short walk to the beach - although it’s a pretty steep street so the walk back up will get your heart pumping.

This was a perfect location for us - just around the corner from our Kaleb. Easy walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants. Only 1.6 miles to the Oakland Museum of California and Chinatown. Double bed on the first floor and double bed on the floor in the loft. I am 72 at 5 feet tall and did the ladder up and down for a peaceful nights sleep *; - )

Mike was a friendly and responsive host! We booked this location last minute and it had everything we needed. The loft was perfect and comfortable. Mike had a prepared list of all the great things to visit in Alameda and San Francisco. The location itself was peaceful and felt safe to walk around at night. I would definitely stay here again.
