Vacation rentals with a kayak in El Dorado County

I am a traveling contract worker, and I was so grateful to find a place to stay which felt as cozy and welcoming as home. Rena is a lovely woman with interesting stories and a beautiful home. She is generous with her humor and knowledge of the area. I enjoyed the pond, bird watching, a charming private wing of the home with a comfortable bed and nice hot shower after work. I can’t wait to stay again when I’m in the area.

For the price nothing beats this place, very comfortable and clean interior, and easy check in. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for that price. Awesome place guys 🤝

I booked Alejandro's home for a healers collective retreat. It was peaceful, beautiful, spacious, well organized and generously stocked with just enough to feel right at home and abundant, and all around a really sweet very well priced place. The lake is a short and beautiful walk from the house and is also gorgeous. I highly recommend this home!

Clark’s was just as pictured. We arrived on a Friday evening to a warm house ( heating system is amazing ). Kitchen is well stocked with all kitchen necessities for cooking & baking. Beds are comfortable & showers work great! Back yard looked like a snow paradise ( it snowed most of our stay so we did not get to use the hot tub hopefully next time.) neighbors were friendly. Clark was responsive to all questions. No complaints & would stay again!

An absolutely charming house and the view from the living areas and upstairs master is absolutely perfect breathtaking. It is an older home but that is what made it so comfortable and it really felt like a second home! Very quiet inside and we loved being able to Door Dash when we didn’t want to cook or go out. Will definitely book again - can’t wait to enjoy it when it’s snowed or in Spring when the Upper Truckee River is full. Very special place and Amanda is a rock star host!

This was a wonderful house for two families with small children, three kids under five years old. The kitchen was large and spacious, with enough room where two families could prep at the same time. We loved having kids activities at one table and eating at a larger table. The rooms were comfortable, though we did bring our own supplies to blackout the children’s room. We loved having the fully fenced in backyard, and a large TV for cozy movie nights! Lots of great supplies for the kids, from a crib/pack and play, two dishes, two bumpers for the twin beds. It was cold while we were there, but the furnace worked well. The bedrooms got a little bit cold at night, but there were not blankets to keep everyone comfortable. The surroundings were really peaceful and beautiful. Me and our three-year-old took a short walk and we were able to see the lake from the road, and we enjoyed watching the deer walk through our front yard. Overall, a really wonderful stay!

This was by far the best Air B&B stay that my husband and I have ever had. Debbie was so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I have never had a stay where so many amenities have been provided. She set the "Gold Standard." Thank you, Debbie!

The best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in hands down. Highly recommend. Such a cozy home that was so thought out. Incredible scenery and very private. Very dog and kid friendly but at the same time VERY clean. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay, saw a family of deer right out the window. Great place for a family weekend getaway.

This was an incredible space for hosting my big family! Easy to find, private, spacious with everything you could think of needing and wanting. We felt right at home and able to kick back and relax because the space was just so inviting. It was close by many places like Lakes, Sky Park, and Apple Hill as well as a Safeway that we could walk to if we forgot key ingredients for our cooking. I’d definitely stay again if hosting a large group.

The kitchen, closet and bathrooms were fully stocked with all the amenities we needed. It was a lovely and cozy house at a low price. The only slight issue were that there were a few spiders in the house during our stay, but overall, a wonderful experience.
