Oscar's place is perfect, everything is super clean, the place is very comfortable the quick direction to get there. Oscar very attentive would be at his house again.

We really enjoyed our stay in La Fortuna!! The Airbnb was not too far from any of the activities we wanted to do. The backyard is incredible and amazing to use the pool after a warm day exploring. The main area of the house is warm, but each bedroom has an air conditioner which definitely helps. The activities we enjoyed were the Mistico hanging bridges, zip lining ($56 for 11 lines from Hotel Paraiso), El Salto rope swing (free), Sloth tour ($60 with Callidryas tours), and La Fortuna waterfall. All were very fun and worth it! For eating our top choices were Kenko and Soda Tita Rosa!! We have 3 kids with us and we all agree this has been one of our best trips! Thanks for letting us stay!!

We loved our stay! The property is beautiful and private, a serene hideaway in the rainforest while being close to La Fortuna attractions. We arrived later than expected and had to find the house at night, which was tricky. A helpful tip if you’re in the same situation: look for the driveway immediately after the bus stop on the left. The house was spotless, easily the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. It was well-stocked with everything we could need, including a Christmas tree! While the lack of rugs or wall coverings made it a bit echoey and sparse, it stayed wonderfully cool. The outdoor area was a highlight, with a fantastic space and a large table for dining al fresco. The pool was excellent and watching the wildlife was a treat, we even saw the sloth! One thing to note is the few friendly dogs who hung out around the property and marked the porch. While they weren’t aggressive, it’s worth mentioning for future guests. Overall, this was a fantastic place!

Nice house, safe and quiet 😊 place.

Casa Colette is a lovely home just outside of La Fortuna. It has everything you will need during your stay. The place is bright and clean, the kitchen is well stocked. There is now a couch in the living area which is greatly appreciated. There is a large TV on the wall in the bedroom with Netflix and comfortable queen bed. We appreciated the walk-in shower with rain shower head. There is a grocery store and local restaurants within a few minutes walk and a 1.8KM walk to main La Fortuna area. Communication was amazing, we had difficulty finding the house and our host was immediately on hand to make sure we arrived without issue. We felt very safe walking around the area and enjoyed seeing the view of Arenal throughout our stay.

We immediately liked the place! The house is small and simple, very clean and comfortable. The pool and outdoor areas are well appointed. The space to eat at the counter was small, but ultimately, it was enough for our needs. In the courtyard, it's difficult to see the volcano because of the fences. On the other hand, these fences provide nice privacy. The neighborhood is nice. The grocery store is close and the shops too (5 minutes). To go to activities near the Arenal Volcano (suspension bridges, zip lines, etc.) the distance is reasonable (15-20 mins). The neighborhood is safe and it is possible to close the fence at night and when you leave. Our only disappointment was the BBQ, as it was difficult to cook a steak on it without putting a full bag of charcoal to get the heat high enough! A small BBQ with a lid in this very well-appointed place would be a plus! Everything else was perfect! We recommend it!

Gerardo’s place was fantastic! We had a blast! Independent how great our daily activity was on any on the days, we always looked forward getting back to the house. The place was very quiet and private surrounded with beautiful trees. Leaves were cleaned; everything was pleasant. House is also surrounded with gravel, so the place must be very comfortable and not muddy in rainy season as well. There was no AC, but interestingly, we did not feel the need for one. Slept with open windows and with a fan on; it was great. The kitchen was simple, yet was always capable of making nice breakfasts. Grocery store was very close, less than 5 min drive. Every morning enjoyed the great view of trees. My kids saw exotic animals at the river. The pool was very clean and great for chilling off at the end of the day. Danny was very sweet and always helpful. Gerardo offered nice breakfast for us!! The food his wife made for us was just amazing! I will definitely go back again and 100% recommend the place

We decided last minute to stay one night here and it was wonderful! Easy to find, clean, beautiful place, amenities well kept and relaxing. Walkable to restaurants, and one on the premise so you don't have to go far at all if you don't want. And Quesada is 10 min drive for more things to do or eat or shop. Friendly and lovely owners. It really felt like staying at a family's guest house, we loved it so much. it was a short stay, but we will be back! Thank you Daniela!

Lovely and comfortable cottage, with a spacious garden and beautiful view. Great communication from hosts, welcomed with freshly baked banana bread. Very convenient location in the centre of town close to shops, restaurants and the local bus that takes you straight to the Monteverde cloud forest. The pool was refreshing too. Definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Beautiful place surrounded by nature. We loved the garden, hot tub and bbq area. Amilcar and his wife were so friendly and helpful a during our stay. It’s a perfect place for a couple or a four person trip. The internet was excellent, we worked online all week with no issues. Thank you to Amilcar for your hospitality! We will be back :)

Very nice stay, the house is very functional and impeccable even if it is not modern. The kitchen is very well equipped. The pool is very well kept, always clean. Neighborhood a little far from La Fortuna but we liked to be just away and quiet. This place is a great value and we recommend it without a problem.
