Room with a double bed - Matices Hostel.

Perfect spot to stay in El Calafate. Just steps from the bus station, and a 10-15 min walk into town. They can easily set up any trips or transport for you at the front desk. Comfy beds, really good shower pressure/temps, and a great amount of kitchen space (2 separate kitchens for in case it gets busy). Kitchens are well stocked with utensils too, however the only thing missing was a can opener (lol), but just ask reception and they can bring you one they have there. Overall an awesome place and would come back for sure.

The entrance features a large wooden door framed by a striking roof supported by exposed beams. Stone steps lead up to the entrance, illuminated by soft lights on either side. Lush landscaping surrounds the path, contributing to a welcoming ambiance.

Beautiful hotel with incredible views of Lake Argentino. The transfer service (free) is very good for getting from the hotel to the center of El Calafate. And the attention was second to none, looking forward to returning to the caulk and Edenia

Fernando always responded on time , the communication is very good , the location of the hotel is also very close to everything The boy at the hotel reception was very nice to us , he helped us at all times, the service in general very well . As details to improve may be the WiFi that does not work from the room , old but functional facilities

We stayed for 2 nights and it was great! They offered a tour (which was really good, privat and to the same price as taking a bus). The room was clean, bed wa super nice and the kitchen was well equipped. The staff was super friendly and very helpful!! I would def. recommend this place and it’s right across the street from the bus station which is a plus. Thanks for having us:-)

It was a very nice stay. The breakfast dining room and breakfast were wonderful, super complete and delicious. Super friendly at the front desk, with lots of recommendations, always willing to help with whatever we needed, they were an excellent support in all logistical matters. The room is just like the photos, they were very kind in giving us the option of a double bed or two singles.

Edenia is an ideal place to stay if you’re in El Calafate for a few days. Rooms are nice and clean with amazing views on the town and the lake. Staff are very helpful and always available to help with questions on things to do like excursions. Highly recommended!

At the top, you should not hesitate to ask for advice at the reception Very close to the village and we can leave our belongings during the day for hikes

Great stay in every aspect except the wifi. I booked this place thinking it would have at least adequate WiFi but it was less than adequate, it was almost as poor as it gets. Apart from that it was a great stay but definitely something to keep in mind if you work remotely like myself! Most cafes in town have time limits on their WiFi.

The experience at the Edenia hotel was impeccable ! The attention of all the staff was always very attentive and willing to help. The location is just what we were looking for, far from downtown but with spectacular views from any corner of the hotel. Regarding how far from the center of El Calafate the hotel provides free shuttle service every two hours approx. from noon and it is not a problem when making excursions as they pass through this hotel without inconvenience. Breakfast is great. Undoubtedly we will return to El Calafate which is an incredible place and we will stay at the Hotel Edenia !

2 steps from the train station terminal so very convenient for that but 15min walk to the city center and other points of el Calafate. He organizes tours cheaper than other bus companies so if you come that for the Perito Moreno it's nice.

Pablo and his family were very nice people. They offered check-in and flexible checkout. The house was spotless. I was greeted like a family member. Their daughter Rocio in particular was smart, friendly, and helpful, and helpful. I thank him very much for everything. I would like to thank the whole family for making sure I have the time. I would recommend staying with these warm and friendly people.
