Vacation rentals with lake access in Egypt

Everything was fantastic! Taher was so helpful and responsive. The apartment was clean and all amenities were working great. Check in and check out were smooth. Highly recommend staying at Taher’s place. The compound was beautiful.

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Houseboat65. I was there with five other folks - a couple & their two kids (8 & 11) and another single person. We had the three apartments on the second floor — perfect. I got lucky and slept in a gorgeous three-room space surrounded by windows, which filled the room with light. We spent a lot of time on the Nile-facing porches, chatting and having cocktails. It felt like our own little slice of calm and peace in busy Cairo. Jerome and the amazing Marie (we love you, Marie!) were beyond responsive: anything we needed (and that wasn't much: these spaces are well-stocked) or any time we needed assistance with luggage, etc., they were there in a flash. Marie served as our driver and top-notch tour guide for two days and wow - we felt so comfortable and well-taken care of. She knows the city so well and didn't hesitate to take us to some very far-flung locations. We can't WAIT to tell our friends about our stay and hope we get to come back!

Our stay at this beautiful Airbnb was amazing! The property is perfect for large groups, with two spacious houses that comfortably accommodated our group of seven. The children loved the clean, inviting pool, and the rooftop terraces offered breathtaking views of the lake—an ideal spot to unwind and take in the serene landscape. The housekeeper and his wife were exceptional hosts, going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They helped organize activities and served a delicious homemade breakfast each morning—fresh eggs, vegetables, baladi bread, cheese, and the most incredible feteer drizzled with honey, which quickly became a family favorite. The fireplace area was our favorite place to gather in the evenings, providing a warm, cozy, and memorable way to end each day. This property is a true gem for anyone seeking a relaxing escape in Fayoum, surrounded by natural beauty and the comfort of warm hospitality. We highly recommend it for an unforgettable group retreat!

Exceptional place with an amazing view, great privacy, the villa is in an isolated island which enhanced the privacy even more, tremendously clean place, and Max was an amazing host, he is very responsive, supportive and helpful, and proactively sent us instructions and did his best to get the gate pass issued on a very short notice before we arrive .. Without a doubt I would come back again and I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy his time in El Gouna

A lovely house. The space was quite convenient for 2 small families. View of the lagoon’s very nice. Mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. Host was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely rent again.

Abdo’s place was cozy, clean and with a nice view. The neighborhood is calm and is private. The security guards for the compound are helpful and friendly. The place is near the usual attractions and Abdo himself is very helpful, friendly, fast to respond and proactive. Overall can recommend.

This Airbnb was an absolute gem! The design of the space was stunning. Every detail seemed thoughtfully curated, creating an inviting and stylish atmosphere. We really loved it! It’s clear that a lot of care and attention went into making this space feel like a home away from home. The location was unbeatable.. Right in the heart of downtown, surrounded by fantastic restaurants and trendy cafes within walking distance, close enough to enjoy the buzz but far enough to maintain a peaceful stay. We really loved it! Next time we are in Gouna we will be back, thank you Maria.

Nice and peaceful place to stay ..

I recently stayed in a fantastic apartment in El Gouna, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the Marina, where I enjoyed great restaurants and stunning views. The apartment itself was clean, well-equipped, and offered a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to explore El Gouna while being close to all the action!

Best place to stay at gouna and owner was so friendly and helpful

I had a fantastic 4-day stay in Gouna! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The highlight of my experience was the host, Jean. After a long 5-hour drive, I arrived earlier than my check-in time (11:40 AM instead of 2 PM), and he kindly let me check in early. He even offered me medicine when he saw I was exhausted, which was a thoughtful gesture that I truly appreciated. The key holder was also very helpful—he not only carried my bags but also gave me great deals on trips and activities. Overall, the hospitality was exceptional, and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Gouna! Would definitely stay here again.
