Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Egtved

We had a wonderful time staying at Katrine and Philip's place. It's a wonderful place where you feel at home right away. The house is very spacious and equipped for children with all the comforts. The game room is awesome. The outside space is beautiful (and super large). The children really enjoyed taking care of the chickens and the vegetables from the greenhouse tasted delicious. In addition, it is well located for all kinds of excursions in the region: Legoland, Aarhus, Odense and much more all can be reached within one hour. Oh, and the beach incl. good seafood restaurant was only a 5 minute drive. We absolutely recommend staying here with your family.

My family and I (myself, husband, 2 kids -11 and 6) had a great stay at Christer's place! His home was perfectly located 5 minutes walk from the Lego House and the center of Billund and yet was peaceful and quiet. It was exactly as seen in the photos and the kitchen was especially well stocked with cooking equipment which was very useful as we tended to cook in the evenings after busy days out. There are also 3 supermarkets close by for anything you need. Christer was in contact prior to our arrival with useful information and always answered any queries we had promptly. The instructions for entry were clear and much appreciated given our late night arrival! Finally, I have to mention the amount of Lego displayed around the house and the huge buckets of lego available to play with - my kids were in heaven! The football table also provided a lot of entertainment. In short, I wouldn't hestiate to recommend a stay here and have in fact already recommended it to friends!

I was very satisfied. The place was really nice, as shown in the pictures. The linens were super comfy the whole house was clean and cozy. Easy explanation, that's why 5 stars

Jeanette was a very handsome host, easy to communicate with. The place was lovely and in quiet surroundings with a playground not too far away. Ideal both for families or a couple who just want to enjoy nice Ry. We were visiting Himmelbjerget which was a nice view post, Fårup summerland and Lalandia and not least Aarhus with "The infinity bridge", we chose the place for it being quite in the middle of everything. Definitely recommended! 🤩

We didn’t manage to spend to much time in Bjarne & family house as we explored Kolding and surroundings, but I can tell for sure that it was a nice surprise for us especially the nice spacious garden. Highly recommended!

For us this was the perfect accomodatie to visit Legoland! Good communication and a lot of space for the kids to run and play!

We had an amazing month-long stay at Christian's house in Skanderborg! The house is spacious, fully furnished, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The abundance of toys kept our little ones entertained, which was a huge plus. The green garden was a lovely spot for relaxing, and the surrounding nature in Skanderborg is truly beautiful. The location is perfect—close to many attractions and just a 20-30 minute drive to Aarhus city center. Christian was always polite and provided clear and helpful instructions for everything. We couldn't have asked for a better host or a more comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

We used the property for a family visit. Everything worked out just fine, from communication, check-in and check-out. The place is very nice and fully met our expectations. It was also helpful that the host Felix speaks 3 languages. We will definitely use her again, she has our best recommendation!

Jens and Line are soooo great hosts. A quick and absolutely helpful contact was given at all times. The accommodation is sufficient for the 3 days we were there. The children were able to sleep great in a double bunk bed. Special is the small zoo that the two run. Jens liked to show us around and told us a lot about the animals. They both always took time for us and were always approachable and friendly. I'd love to come back :)

A wonderful little peaceful cottage with lots of space for our family of four. Everything was clean and there was lots of toys to keep our 5 year old entertained. Karen provided a great size travel cot for our 7 month old upon request and was quick at replying to our questions. We are so thankful to her and her accommodation!

Unbeatable! We were given the flexibility to get in and check out when it was good for us. Elly welcomed us and showed us the accommodation and its animals and offered to feed them. We have a 4 year old boy who loves horses, and he offered to take a little walk in it. He also gave us fresh eggs every night we spent there. The accommodation is very comfortable, designed for children and with everything you need. We were super comfortable there and loved the place.

A super cozy apartment (upstairs) with a private entrance, living room, bedroom, kitchen and toilet. Bath in the basement. Free and safe parking behind the house. And not least a really good full size bed👌🏼A really cozy place, and Bjarne is a great service-minded host. We recommend for both short and long stays 👍😊

Fantastic accommodation in Jutland, we were 5 days with two little girls and they were looking forward to coming home to play with all the toys that were there. Clean and perfect toys. They also left bath towels and utensils especially for them. Amazing kitchen, with everything you need to cook, spices, oil, salt, etc. Clean and well-maintained linens. Flawless bathroom with everything you need, including cleaning products for laundry. We have recommended the place to many friends who have seen our trip. Perfect location.

We stayed at Peter’s during our visit to Legoland and the Lego House and it was just a 10mins drive, in a very quiet, and beautiful countryside house.

Claus is a very welcoming and good host and the apartment met expectations from the description. Very nice and charming apartment, and very central. There is walking distance to the city center, and immediate proximity to Kolding shopping center. I would definitely stay here again and Claus's apartment is really recommended.

It was very nice place in the middle of nature.just one thing was uncomfortable, it is the stairs, was very narrow and slippery. Otherwise everything's was perfect.

This is a full scale two-bedroom apartment in the downstairs section of a sloped lot ("hillside") villa, and it's an excellent feel-at-home place for some quiet "me"/"us" time. It has a full and generously equipped kitchen, great beds, beautiful view of lovely gardens, puzzles and board games for a family getaway, and it lies in a quiet, residential neighbourhood. There's also a gorgeous outdoor space for summer use, accessible straight from the living room. You could outright live here permanently and not miss a thing. Several supermarkets are within easy reach (one is walking distance), and for anybody who doesn't know what everyday Danish cuisine has to offer, be prepared for pleasant surprises. Fry up some "medisterpølse" (a classic Danish pork sausage) with veg, potatoes and sauce, then have ice cream and freshly baked (from frozen) "kanelsnegle" ("cinnamon snails" -- no, it's Danish pastry, not gastropods) for afters, and you will understand why happiness is a Danish trait.
