Very clean, modern, and spacious apartment with a nice view. Host did not respond to any messages, although no assistance was necessary.

The host, Katrin, is very kind. I was happy to receive a warm message when I made the reservation. The room was very relaxing and warm. I can see beautiful mountains from the window. I would like to stay here again.

Stayed one night on my travels, and this home was PERFECT. Very clean and modern. I slept peacefully. The views in the morning were amazing. And we even saw the northern lights in the mountain and didn't have to drive anywhere to see them. I would definitely stay here again. 💓

There are several buildings on the premises, some are hostels and some are used as apartments. After passing the cemetery, you will find a site, and there is a map when entering, so please note. There are two beds and a sofa bed inside the apartment, and there are a variety of utensils such as pots and pans, dishes, and spoon fork knives in the kitchen. There was a fridge, freezer, microwave, and induction, so it was easy to cook. There is a washing machine and detergent with a drying function. The toilet and shower are rather narrow, but considering the overall size, it's not a big deal. When you walk all the curtains, there are large windows where you can observe the aurora in many directions. Unfortunately, the radiator alone is lacking in heating and it is difficult to completely block the cold air coming in through the window. The duvet was thick, so it didn't interfere with my sleep.

This was my second accomodation while staying in Iceland and appreciated the level of hospitality that they offered. The space had a great lived-in and comfortable feel and was beautiful with the amount of light that the windows let in. They offered great local insight to the area and it was clear they accommodate a wide range of types of travellers. Though I didn't make use of all the information and amenities, I appreciate the thought behind it. There were many personal touches that make it that much more memorable. I especially appreciate them messaging to make sure check in went alright.

We checked in very late around midnight, and I really appreciated the host’s flexibility. The apartment was easy to find, and the living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms were pristine, making it feel like home. It was especially comforting after hours of driving in the dark on gravel roads. The washer/dryer was a huge help after a wet day out, allowing us to clean and dry our clothes. Overall, a great stay!

The room is cozy, and the hot water is not enough for four people to take a bath.

Magnus and Elsa are friendly hosts. the rooms are very comfortable. freshly made bread in the morning was a wonderful treat. it was quiet and peaceful the day we stayed.

The old school was a beautiful apartment with all modern amenities. It was very comfortable for our family of five. The location in beautiful Seydisfjordur is a plus point. Highly recommended for those doing the ring road.

We were pleasantly surprised when we stayed at this listing. The decor was neat, and we found it better than the photos. Large, clean space.
