Vacation rentals in Effingham

A great place to unplug! We stayed at the cabin for a week near the beginning of November. It was very relaxing just to sit outside near the fire, or read on one of the three decks, all of which have a great view. We saw lots of wildlife. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for our needs. We are looking forward to our next stay at this cabin in the woods.

This is our second stay at Grant's place and it was everything we were hoping for. The cabin itself is delightful, but the outdoor areas are amazing! Grant and his wife could not be better hosts. I highly recommend this property!

Nice little camper. Comfy. Yep, the train went through quite often but didn't bother me and at night, the ear plugs worked fine Would stay there again if I was in the area.

We were looking for a clean, quiet place to sleep as we are night drivers. We arrived at 8am & slept until 4pm then had dinner with family in Mattoon. Then we left before 5am the next morning to head home to northern WI. It was exceptionally peaceful. We did not get to use the outside of the property but it looked like a great place to spend a week exploring the area. We travel back & forth from a business we own in south GA to our home in northern WI. We always stop to see family & we certainly will be booking this place again. I am extremely picky about cleanliness & I saw no reason to pull out my disinfectant wipes & swab the place down. Never turned on the TV & did not need to use internet so cannot rate that. Miss Marissa must care about people because she had the heat set so it was warm when we arrived & had a Christmas tree which was a very nice touch. Do not hesitate to book this cute cottage. We came in town for a family wedding and found Jen’s place. It was so cute and worked perfectly. The accommodations were cozy and we had everything we needed. Bed was great too! We would def stay here again!

We travelled to Terre Haute, Indiana to attend my graduate graduation at ISU. Our stay at the luxury lake house was absolutely flawless. From the breathtaking winter views of the serene, lake to the warmth and elegance of the home’s cozy interiors, every detail was perfection. We spent our time enjoying the peace and quiet of the season. The house had everything we could have wished for, making it a seamless and unforgettable retreat. It was the perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and tranquility.
