Waterfront vacation rentals in Edgewater

The place was just perfect for a short get-away from the city. Walkable to the beach. You can even see the ocean. Walkable to a good coffee shop, and restaurants. The kitchen has basics, so we could make breakfast. The family upstairs is definitely loud, and I don't think there's much insolation, because you can see the washing machine running, and people showering. Also when it's windy the whole house squeaks. But a couple of earplugs solved that, and the proximity to the beach more than makes up for it. The hosts are also very friendly and responsive!

David was the most accommodating host I've ever had on Airbnb. The place was such an incredible location. Tons of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. Hiking trails and walkable areas. Easily drivable to Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow. Couldn't have asked for anything better!

The Apartment was in Greenpoint and the views were amazing although not exactly the Appartement in the pictures. It was as Food as the ohne Shown. It is a Bit rare that you only get to Know the adress in the last minute but it worked well. Maybe that is due to NYC Airbnb politics

We're New Yorkers who live upstate but we needed to rent an apartment as our son was having surgery and we needed to be near the hospital so it was not a 'vacation' per se for us, however, the apartment was a perfect place for us to stay for almost 2 weeks after our son’s surgery. Daniel's apartment was literally just as described, the beautiful views alone were a fantastic plus, the shower was amazing and actually the kitchen was even more stocked than we expected which was a pleasant surprise. Regarding the location it is very conveniently close to the nearest subway (minutes away) , restaurants, pharmacies, Wall Street, The 9/11 Memorial, Century 21, supermarkets and much more and then there is also Battery Park Waterfront which is a really cool area for walks/runs. Just to add there are tourists but they can be avoided as the apartment is also located in a residential part of NYC . Lastly Daniel was a great host, kind and very helpful. Overall, a very wonderful great stay!

First and foremost, Michaela is one of the most responsive and helpful hosts I’ve encountered on this app. She elevated our experience with constant communication, flexibility, and timeliness with meeting us (we arrived at the airport at 5am and she met us at the Airbnb by the time we arrived at 6am!). Plus, I locked myself out and she bent over backwards to get a spare key to let me in. She’s amazing. The place itself is in a great location with beautiful views. As others have mentioned, people live there, so you’ll find the dressers and closets full of clothes. So you’ll need to live out of your suitcase. Overall, great experience.

This gem felt like home! Soon as you walk in you can feel the beautiful vibrant energy. It was very clean and had everything you want/need. It’s walkable to everything! Community Park down the road is so peaceful. Vlad was awesome! He communicated very well and helped me out weeks before I even flew in and the whole time I was there. Will be back Vlad! Dan and Jill’s place was a peaceful little gem with a stunning view from living room windows. There are multiple outside spaces to relax. The inside was absolutely spotless and decorated very nicely. Lots of plants give it a zen feel. The kitchen was beautiful and nicely appointed. Extra effort is made with the coffee amenities. Would stay again ! 😊

I can only agree with the other reviews Great apartment, very comfortable beds, very easy and quick way to Manhattan, beautiful view of the New York skyline, very nice communication with Peter and very delicious fresh bagel in the Tigermarket at the gas station. We were a family of 5 and we all enjoyed it very much. The fact that there are 2 stairs to the apartment did not bother us. I think it's great that the apartment is at the top and therefore no one is walking around above.

It was a warm and cozy place, with bus stop around 20 steps, it was really easy to get to NYC PA bus terminal via 127 NJ Transit bus Place was clean and rooms were spacious felt right at home. Also Taco Bell is the nearest fast food restaurant if anyone wants to grab a quick bite. It’s walkable

This place is awesome for what it is - a large home that can accommodate many people with a ton of space. It also doesn't have the Airbnb special room of 4+ beds that sleeps 8 to pump up the amount that can sleep there. This listing is straightforward. The keyless entry is awesome, everything in the house works, and there is plenty of parking and amenities. It is older and dated, however, and lacks a few finish details but for what it is, this house is very, very worth it. Each room was separated enough to have privacy, the kitchen was functional, and the dining room, living room, and entry/sunroom all offered enough room for everybody in our party to feel comfortable. I would stay here again, especially with a large group. We were 7 adults and 6 children (all under 8) and this was 1000% better than a hotel or other living arrangement. Thank you Ashley! We had a wonderful time staying at Amanda’s lake house, so much so that we extended our trip. It the perfect cozy, warm cabin that we were hoping for. It was so nice sitting by the lake and watching the day go by

Had a great stay with a group of friends! Large common areas and lots of games provided. Yariv was a proactive communicator and was very interested in ensuring we had a great stay. Recommend for a larger group or family!

Really nice place to stay at. We came for a couple concerts at the Starland Ballroom. And it was just a cheap $12 Uber away. The place was nice and spacious, with lots of beds. Our dog loved the backyard area and even took a dip in the river. I definitely recommend this rental and will be back if we find ourselves wanting to go to the Starland Ballroom again!

what a beautiful place. I love all the windows. The view is so nice and peaceful. There's plenty of good trails to hike minutes from the house. Patrick was very accommodating and flexible. We will be back!

David was a phenomenal host! His hospitality was great and his accommodations for my guests were exactly what we were looking for. I would recommend David to anyone looking for the beach front oasis.

My girlfriend and I spent an amazing winter holiday in these apartments while visiting NYC. The location is very convenient: a bus stop is right outside the door, and it takes only about 20-25 minutes to get to Manhattan by bus. Estefany and her mother, Athia, are some of the kindest and most hospitable people we’ve ever met – always friendly and incredibly responsive. The apartments provided the perfect place to relax after long days of walking through the bustling city. Thanks to our wonderful hosts, our trip was truly memorable. Highly recommend!

The condo is spectacular and the host was very gracious and helpful! Note: there are alot of stairs to climb. We were unaware of this prior to checking in and my mother was unable to make it up the stairs due to her recent hip surgery. So please note there are stairs and it's not handicapped accessible. Otherwise great stay! Thanks!

Great location for a short stay in NYC. Lots of things to do in the area. Easy access to underground and other transportation

If you are looking to explore New York for a few days or longer then Jay's place is great. Just a few minutes from the Long Beach station, Penn or Grand Central are about an hour away on a direct LIRR train. You will save $$$ by staying here compared with Manhattan. Long Beach is a safe, full of interesting shops. The 10km boardwalk is just a few minutes away. The apartment of character in a listed building full of charm. Loved the well stocked kitchen and would not hesitate to come back again.

We were given a warm welcome as soon as we arrived. Hector gave us a short tour of the place, and also offered some really good food recommendations! I Couldn't wait to give my review! When I say the place was AMAZING, IT WAS!!! I wished I could have stayed some more days. The responses were immediate! Place was cozy! Everything you see in the images of this home are accurate! The building ambience is beautiful as well. They have gained a customer that will share with anyone who is coming to New York. Stores are 4 mins away. Check out restaurants bbqchicken and fluffys they are literally a coupleof blocks away. This is the place for you don't think twice, it comes with all the bells and whistles. The major added bonus was the washer and dryer lol I have a fetish. I never take home clothes that aren't cleaned. Book IMMEDIATELY!

We absolutely loved our stay at AJs! The location was phenomenal, had all the joys of a small town and just across the street from the bus stop that takes you to New York. The place was clean with all the basics. my only wish was that there was an extra blanket to use in the living room.
