Family-friendly vacation rentals in Eden Island, Seychelles

We had a great stay at the apartment. There is everything you need, from the balcony you have a great view of the sea and a parking space is also available. Kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of space.

Mary is a delightful and responsive host who takes great care of a lovely house. It is very spacious and clean, with beautiful views of the forest and waves breaking on the horizon. Mary makes a great effort to get to know her guests, giving local recommendations and advice with a smile! There is a lovely terrace which has a great view for dinners and evening activities. We loved the location for its ease to get to several places on the island such as Police Bay, Anse Soleil and Takamaka Rum Distillery to which we all recommend a visit! There is a bus stop down the road but make sure to get a pass to make use of it - we rented a car which we recommend and there is parking for it at the property. Lovely apartment building with all the necessary amenities.

Nice accommodation in a nice place surrounded by tropical forest. Mary is communicative and willing to give advice and arrange some trips (a boat trip in our case). She is great cook. Her dinners are amazing. You have to tray it!

Everything was amazing! The villa located just in 1 minute walk from the seaside. On the one of the best beaches on Mahe. Patrick is owner. He was so helpful, the transfer from the airport and back was free. Patrick gave us some fruits from his garden. He helped us to rent a car. We had to check out at 10:30 a.m. but our flight was at 9:10 p.m. so Patrick extended our stay for free. This villa has a room service. They cleaned our apartment every day, changed towels and sheets. The apartment is so big and clean. It has two bedrooms, kitchen and big living room. Fully furnished, with washing machine, iron and hair dryer. The internet is good, but not perfect. But I think this island doesn't have the perfect internet. We even could watch YouTube. I am glad that we decided to stay here. Anse Royale has everything you might need in a walk distance. If we come back here, we will stay in Patrick's villa again.

Mary was a fantastic ‘host’. She kept in close touch before and during our stay checking if we needed anything (eg beach towels that we didn’t have) And so friendly! Nothing was too much bother and a nice touch to have tea, water, fresh fruit and milk on arrival. Also great to have fresh towels every couple of days! She really made our stay feel special. Sarah is the definition of a super host! Very responsive to all my queries but what stood out was the catering she arranged for Christmas Day lunch for 13 people. The food was delicious and consisted of local dishes and traditional Christmas dishes. Way too much food which fed us for the next few days. The house has everything you need. We had 6 kids with us and each of them loved the house, especially the pool area and were super excited that there were pet tortoises. Was certainly a home away from home. I highly recommend this property. Hopefully we will be able to return one day.

Booked for 2 nights and extended this to 3. Sara and Xavier were fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. They helped us with booking trips and gave lifts to and from the bars and bus stops. Absolutely recommend staying here and would definitely come back. Thank you to you both 😍

A perfect stay ! Sherin is hands down the best Airbnb host I have ever experienced. Friendly, kind, welcoming and charming. We had issues at the aiport with registrations and she was immediately helpful and friendly. The apartment is spotless and the wifi is good enough to work from. The area is peaceful and green. There are tortoises to see and a little old dog roaming the compound who is just the best, the other dogs there are bigger and all are the best of boys / girls as well.

Thanks Josee. Well often choosing a place to stay for safety and its very safe. 2ndly we think how close things attractions airport beach restaurant and supermarket and food stores. Well Seychelles is not a big country and everywhere you drive is in a short distance and available don’t worry at all about shopping catering stuffs. Many people think to stay on a beach but trust me beach areas are very expensive and this accommodation is totally private and safe for family or friends and group to stay enjoy privacy have your own music barbeque kitchen and no need to bring any kitchen equipments or washing. Everything was good. Park car inside enjoy the private pool. Make ur own breakfast or have lunch nearby Suffer Ches Batista or enjoy your dinner in self catering or outside. Seychelles all beaches are beauty near by Tea Factory Botinacal Garden Victoria market sea food cheap take a rent a car remember enjoyment depends on your self Be happy wherever whatever u have . My husband and I stayed with our two children (5 years and 11 months) in Cote Sud in the house Fiori di Maggio. Listing is absolutely as described. We loved the stay, especially the beautiful garden in the middle of the jungle was a absolute highlight for our son. While the house did not have glass windows as described,fortunately there were not many insects in the house. As long as the house was not habitable opposite, we were allowed to use the pool. It is a very very nice place!! Every day the bathroom and kitchen were cleaned and the whole house and terrace were wiped out. Towels and bed linen were changed every 3 to 4 days. Everything great!! However, the house or inventory is already quite old and worn. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint. Some things are broken (e.g. picture frame, handle on the fridge, chipped tile corners, etc.), the cupboards are rather musty and the surfaces of the wall shelves and the fridge are quite dusty. Unfortunately, when we arrived there was no welcome drink or some fruit, as we knew it from other properties in the Seychelles. If this does not bother you and are looking for a simple accommodation in the middle of the countryside, this is the place to be.

We stated with two kids at Ronan’s house for 5 days and enjoyed every moment of it. House was very peaceful, beaches nearby were great. Kids enjoyef incredibly travelling with buggy :) Ronan was very helpful and supported us whatever we needed - a great host No doubt this place will be our choice again if we come to Seychelles and recommended to everyone!

The place is just as described. Peacefully set in a garden and spacious, you can enjoy the calm and privacy. you are very close to the most beautiful beaches in the south of the island, with anse intendance just a fewminites drive away. Few shops and restaurants are nearby, and Gemma is an excellent chef if you wish to have stay in for dinner. There is also everything you need to cater for yourselves.

So sad to leave feels like a second home . Amazing facilities, awesome location, best spot on the Seychelles . Extremely safe, great for family’s. Supplied with a golf buggy and a kayak to get around the island. Great Gym, restaurants, beaches, swimming , tennis which were all free of charge. The hosts and Isabelle who met us were extremely friendly , cant thank them enough for letting use there amazing villa.

Second time we stayed in Sarahs apartment. Its beatufull and great locaded in Eden Island. We Will come back.

This is one of the best places to stay in Seychelles, close to everything on the whole island. A little paradise and everything is there at Eden Island: some amazing beaches, most of the good restaurants are on Eden island, a supermarket with an underground parking. Emil did great pre communication, with the SEBS and Julia was one-call away, she welcomed us when we arrived, gave very clear instructions and information, helped us with laundry pods and so on. The place of Julia and Emil was amazing, very comfy bed, fan, a/c, spacious bathroom, nice warm shower, balcony with a view, we enjoyed driving the buggy car on the island. It's really well located on Eden island, super close to a ' private beach ', close to the gym and the sports field, easy to get to the parking complex where our rental car was parked, to the Eden Plaza (supermarket and stores) and the restaurants. And only 10 minutes away from the airport. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Julia and Emil.

Large terrace with amazing view

It was an excellent stay. The local team that the Host uses, did a super job in communicating with us beforehand on how everything will work. They arrange taxi's for us from the airport and gave us contact details for taxi's as well as boat operators for excursions. When the BBQ's gas became low, it was a simple message sent and we had a standby bottle delivered asap. The Unit is excellent and well situated for beautiful views. We saw lobsters, fish and even two sea turtles less than 10 m from our patio. Well worth it for a couple of a family.

This place is haven on earth. We didn’t want to leave to go to the beach. It’s perfect for group of people, friends or family. Arno is friendly host, always responsive… 2 min from really nice beach, carana. Recommend from the bottom of my heart.

It was great staying at Gillian’s place. The house was very comfortable. The W/D were very helpful for our family. Do plan a bit of time to get to the unit upon checkin. There was paperwork that needed to be filled out along with going through face recognition. It was a bit tiring after a day of travel. Everyone was very helpful. There were quite a few restaurants and grocery on the island. The golf cart was great at getting around.
