Apartment vacation rentals in Edam-Volendam

I feel quite lucky to have stayed at a number of great airbnbs in the past. However, this apartment and in particular the warmth and hospitality from Marja and Jos easily make it the best airbnb experience we've ever had. The space is wonderfully cozy and the location cannot be better (especially for the food market on Wednesdays) . Marja and Jos went out of their way to make us feel at home on our first day through to our last. They also have bikes to rent, which is terrific to explore some of the neighboring villages. Transport to/from Amsterdam is incredibly easy and efficient too, so it can be a great homebase to spend time in the city if that's what you are looking for. I highly recommend this lovely home and spending time in Edam. We absolutely loved it and hope to return very soon.

Well recommended apartment..Nice place and relaxing location

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. The pictures correspond exactly to what it looks like. Communication with Sandra was also very good 😊

We were great staying at Irene's place. The apartment was clean, we had everything we needed. The bed very comfortable.

The place was surprisingly amazing, the house was clean and had everything needed for a fine holiday. I highly suggest people to stay there. There are 2 couples bedroom and a huge bedroom with 7-8 beds. A huge dining room, kitchen was nice. A big balcony with sofas and tables. You can have a fine dinner just outside as there are many restaurants. We got 15% discount on one meal which was a great deal. You can find any means of transportation with in 15 minutes walk. All kinds of shops are avaliable in the area. Amsterdam central is not so far away. Everything was good. Highly recommended. 🤩🤩

Michel and Angelique’s place was adorable. It was decorated beautifully and looked just the photos. The hosts are so thoughtful and you can tell they pride themselves in the space. The town itself is so picturesque and beautiful to walk around. The bus station is a close walk away with a short bus ride into Amsterdam. Would stay here again.

Super location. On the dyke, but in a quiet place. Car can be parked for free. Friendly host who responds quickly. And we were pleasantly surprised with a delicious treat waiting for us in the fridge!

Had a great stay at Martin’s place. It is a very beautiful area and comfortable place. Totally recommend! 😁
