Tiny house vacation rentals in Eastern states of Australia

What a lovely experience! Our two nights at Tara were very cool and comfortable. I couldn't write this review without mentioning the fabulous platters that this Airbnb is famous for. These were catered to our requirements as Pescatarians ( Kathy kindly msged us to make sure all was right). These were especially welcome because we were there over Christmas day and Boxing day. Our doggo made friends with the resident llamas and the two sweet pigs. We may have to take our grandson to come and stay with us next time. Kathy popped by for a quick chat and to see if everything was fine. The bed was very comfortable and the aircon was also very welcome. Thanks Kathy for a lovely stay.

This stat sums up to “best idea we had in a while”. Christopher cabin is right off a beautiful street but once you are in all you feel is that you are in the middle of the bush, with trees and beautiful birds. As we arrived 2 tawny frogmouth were chilling right outside the window, was magical. The small cabin is extremely spacious and perfectly organised with every amenity you could possibly wish. Everything is so thoughtfully placed and caters for the best stay. We needed this peace! We will definitely try to book it again! We forgot a portable charger and Christopher hand delivered it to our friends in the mountains, going the absolute extra mile to be a good host and person. Couldn’t have had a better experience and the price is soooo good for how amazing the experience is. Highly recommend to anyone after some peace but also with easy access to all shops in Katoomba only 6 mins drive! Thank you Christopher!! Iresh & Ben

The little house on the hill has been our favourite!! we absolutely loved everything about it. super comfy, super cute and super close to nature and the town. so many hikes and walks to go on around the area!!

The Ooaree Farm Cabin has a lovely rustic feel, with a fresh light-filled bathroom (which must be recently updated yet still charming and not overly modern). The property is private, beautifully landscaped, with cows wandering past and birds chirping. Don't think we heard a single sound of civilisation while there. It has the amazing blend of feeling like you are in the middle of nowhere while being only a 5 minute drive from Gerringong, its restaurants, beaches and views. The photos represent it very accurately. If you want to unwind, this is a wonderful place to do it.

We're so glad we found Carole's place. The decor just made us feel right at home. LOADS of comfortable, outdoor furniture, to sit and watch the wildlife come and go. The bed was also super comfy. Carole was amazing on text, very responsive and very accommodating. We would definitely come back and recommend you stay if in the area. Truly wonderful

The property is exactly as described and photographed, situated on 5 acres with nothing but cows, wombats and echidnas for neighbors. It's close enough to Liptrap and Wilson's prom to get in and out easily on any given day, or to wander into a nearby town for a coffee or a meal, should you feel inclined. The beauty of the place lies in the history and craftsmanship of the home, paired with the seclusion and peacefulness of its surroundings. A strategic shop for provisions on the way into Walkerville will set you up for a beautiful few days where you can be a well-fed hermit, if you don't feel like venturing far. And if you are up for some adventuring, Fleur has provided an incredibly thorough list of local towns, attractions, hikes, walks, food, drink, art, and probably more that I can't recall now. It was all incredibly helpful. We loved every minute of the trip and hope to get back again some day.

Great little pad in a perfect location. Erica and Gary were very friendly and the accommodation was as described (more spacious than expected from the photos). Lovely listening to the ocean whilst going to sleep, and the flat was nice and cool on those hot days. A very enjoyable stay, thanks Gary and Erica

A wonderful 4 nights of pure bliss in this cosy little cabin. Plenty of character and style but also perfectly equipped for such a teeny space. The location was perfect to explore the Macedon Ranges and Hepburn from - there is definitely not a shortage of things to do within 30 mins drive. Thank you for a wonderful mini break, the doggos and I loved it!

Our stay at Anne and Wayne’s tiny home was made extra special by the immense care they offered, to ensure we were comfortable. At the same time, our privacy was respected and the ruggedly beautiful environment around the tiny home was very conducive to grounding in nature, surrounded by almost every iconic Australian bird you could think of, plus beautiful, docile (to us) kangaroos, almost at the front door. The properly fitted insect screens did an amazing job of keeping almost every insect outside where they belong, whilst helping ventilate the space in the hot weather we enjoyed. Loved the huge TV, appreciated the tea and coffee, and most of all the gorgeous ambience, clearly all designed with love. Anne also very kindly provided a fan, in addition to the lovely ceiling fan that works a treat. Huge, huge thanks to you both-and especially to Wayne, for totally ‘saving the day’ for us to meet our early flight home. We hope to see you all again! Mark and Gwendoline.

10/10, it was sweet and homey, exactly like the pictures and a nice beautiful place to get away and Anna and her team we super helpful.

Such a beautiful peaceful space. It is furnished well with quality soft furnishings and linens. Tash also supplied enough for breakfast which was a nice touch, everything we needed and more than we expected for a quick overnight stay. Very responsive and easy to deal with, we would definitely stay again

In summary, outstanding accomodation in a beautiful location. This would be the best Airbnb we have stayed. The design, comfort and setup, from the kitchen to the bathroom; is five star. We were provided an amazing breakfast selection, bread, croissants, jams and juices, as well as a bottle of wine. Communication was easy. Clearly a lot of thought and effort has been applied to making this a great experience. We will definitely stay again.

The venue was a very relaxing and a worth while stay, we will definitely be back. VIC and Deb were very responsive and made the stay extremely easy.

The Captains Cabin is on the main strip of Kangaroo Valley. Easy to walk to the shops. Loved the bath outside! Such a great little stay for a weekend away. Thank you Lucy for having us :)

Magical experience under a sky full of stars despite it being a partially cloudy night, chilling by the bonfire with a spectacular view of the forested valley and lake. Couldn’t ask for a more perfect place 💯🤩

An incredible location by the river. This tiny house is private, peaceful and extremely comfortable. It was all too easy to while hours away sitting on the deck, soaking up the serenity!

Steve and Amanda were very responsive, friendly and flexible with stay. The place is nice, secluded and good for private getaway. The only (welcoming) visitors you'll get are lambs, kangaroos and alpacas. Would visit the place again

Really cute little place. A lot of air BnB these days are sterile with no effort with regard to decore. This place on the other hand was lovely: lots of thoughtful details to make it feel homely and welcoming. Well decorated, and a lovely seating area and hammock in the immaculate yard right outside. The host was accommodating and reponsive. We would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Briana's tiny home! Very cute and very clean, great location and private access. Perfect for a weekend getaway!

I don't even know what to say - this is truly one of the best places I have ever stayed in. I am usually a person who struggles with sleep and I slept so well at the T home, I missed my flight lol and I have no regrets. Will 100% stay there next time I am in Brissy. Priscilla also has two beautiful cats, that were awesome to hangout with!
