This is a cute, charming house that is close to downtown Brevard and hiking trails. We loved sitting on the porch and listening to the stream at night. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

We had a great stay! The game room was super fun and the hot tub was lovely! The host was super quick to reply and help us with anything we needed, and we would love to visit again!

The hosts were incredibly welcoming, ensuring everything was ready for a comfortable stay. Kitchen is a little small but plenty of great restaurants in Brevard right down the road. If you're searching for a place to unwind and reconnect with nature, this mountain cabin is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The peaceful surroundings, thoughtful touches throughout the cabin, and the cozy atmosphere made it the perfect retreat. We truly didn’t want to leave! Every detail from the sparkling clean interior to the stunning views reflected the love and care that was put into this place. It was exactly the kind of getaway we were hoping for, and then some. We made so many wonderful memories and captured some gorgeous photos that we’ll treasure forever.

We stayed at Lizard Lodge for 5 nights and it was absolutely perfect. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and exactly as shown in the listing only better in person! We loved the location and how peaceful the surroundings of the cabin were. Enjoyed walking down to the lake and fishing a bit. Enjoyed the fire pit one night and enjoyed the hot tub twice and sitting on the swing down on the dock and on the front porch. Enjoyed having dinner on the back deck and watching the birds. Saw beautiful cardinals every day. The beds were very comfortable - slept great! Most of all, I can’t say enough about Sabir and co-host, Jennifer. They were very helpful and responded to any questions we had extremely quickly. This cabin was perfect for my family and they all agree how beautiful and comfortable it was. I would not hesitate to stay at Lizard Lodge again!

This is probably the cleanest Airbnb we have ever been to. Everything from the scenery to the peace and quiet of being in the woods. Everything was perfect. I usually am skeptical and worry about traveling and where to stay but this place was top tier. The hot tub was our favorite haha. This is a perfect place if you want to be secluded while also being close to the main attractions. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and will definitely be our place when we come back!

Highly recommend, place was clean, remote. Table Rock mountain a short ride away . Travel rest has great restaurants, lots of local spots to visit. Looking to get away from the world of mayhem this is the place.

We came from Asheville to celebrate an anniversary. The location is great if you are trying to be close to great hiking and biking. It is close to the main road through DuPont so don’t expect it to be quiet during the day. It also wasn’t entirely clear from the listing but there are two of the same ‘cabins’ right next to one another, so if you’re looking for true privacy you may want to look elsewhere. We ended up interacting with our neighbors a couple of times which was fine. The entry to our unit was dysfunctional - both the digital lock and the door itself are in need of repair / replacement. We couldn’t get back in after our hike but after several attempts got the keypad to cooperate. We tried to use the nice Weber grill to make dinner but the propane was on E, so that was a bummer. It was too late in the day to bother asking for a replacement. It was nice to save time setting up a campsite and everything but for $300/night, I don’t feel like the value was there.

Although you can see other cabins when standing in front of your own, you forget about that when you’re inside. It was absolutely tranquil and wonderful!

The Lake house was one of the quietest and most peaceful air b-and-b's we have stayed at. The new back deck is the highlight of the lake cabin. The rest of the cabin is fully equipped and functional, but we hardly left the back deck. With its fenced in area and gate was perfect for the dog. The kayaks and dock are a nice addition. It is located close to good dining at Micas restaurant and Whiteside brewery. We came for the hiking in Panthertown area. We will be back again.

This is our 4th time staying at Wahoo...can't get enough of this place. We love the serenity of the location, to swim in the river across the street with our dogs, enjoy downtown Traveler's Rest and Greenville. Allison and Travis are excellent hosts.

This is the PERFECT home for a family and a dog looking to get away and experience the peace of the mountains but who also need to get some energy out and have FUN. Our favorite activity was relaxing together in the hot tub after a long day of hiking in Pisgah/Dupont forest and stuffing our faces in Brevard, we'd stare up at the beautiful trees arching over our heads and watch the birds while our aching legs soaked. Our boys played outside with our dog in the fenced in yard and everything felt safe and secure. They wanted bears, we didn't. Linens were lovely and there were extras for parents who need an extra reading pillow to get thru bedtime. Coffee machine worked great and that is literally the most important feature in an Air bnb for this crew. Very conveniently located to SC side of mountains, nice drive from the south thru Travelers Rest and you can stop at Ceasers Head for a beautiful view. 10/10, would stay here again. WE WILL BE BACK! Incredible views, our dog and two small kids had a blast with the amenities provided. Husband and I enjoyed peaceful evenings watching the sunset from the balconies. Wonderful stay, would definitely visit again!

We have stayed many places in NC. This area is so relaxing and beautiful, as was this home. We were able to bring our dog and let her play in the fenced yard and on the huge wrap around porch which is gated. They left firewood and starter twigs. Incredible hostess! Already hope to book again! There is a huge den upstairs and our adult daughter had her own space and so did we. Very private and safe area. We never ate out, but cooked and ate in. Carrie offered to bring any kitchen item needed and even offered to bring a card table when I inquired about one for card playing! Great place for a family. Several tables, sofas, places to sit inside and out that are very comfy! Thank you Carrie and Steve.

Stepping into this beautiful house felt like you were staying with friends. The home is so beautifully decorated with art, and it had everything you could possibly need. From stocked firewood to stacks of cozy blankets, and even coffee there for us to make in the morning. Judy has thought of everything to make guests feel welcome. We loved the two separate spaces, and our kids loved the loft. Being next to the creek was incredibly peaceful. We are already planning another trip back to this amazing home.

Wonderful location. Brevard has been my favorite vacation spot for many years and this place was wonderful. Quiet and peaceful, with all the amenities you need for a getaway. Super quick and easy trip to Pisgah or DuPont from the house with Lake Imaging trailhead right down the road. Would definitely stay here again!

One of the most beautiful homes I’ve stayed in! We absolutely loved all the big the windows to let all the natural light through, and the loft was a cozy area to end off the night. Can’t we can’t wait to come back!

The house was an absolute gem! Clean, charming, and all the amenities for relaxing in the mountains—large outdoor deck with beautiful views, spacious fire pit area, large hammock in the screened-in porch. We had our two young children with us, and the TV loft stocked with tons of board games and puzzles was perfect for when we weren’t outside. The host stayed in great communication during our stay, and made sure we always had everything we needed. The house is in a very quiet and peaceful area, but close enough to town (Cashiers and Highlands) for restaurants, groceries, and activities. We will definitely be back!

Carolyn was as wonderful as her cabin & our time there! Check in/out was easy, directions were straightforward, responsiveness was almost immediate, and the cabin/surrounding woods/location was just a dream and everything we hoped for - complete with a fully stocked kitchen, firewood and kindling, hiking trails accessible straight from the property, extremely comfortable beds, a clean spacious bathroom, local art for sale on the walls, cozy details everywhere, a charming loft with movies, and more. I would 10/10 recommend taking the opportunity to stay here - and want to thank Carolyn and everyone else involved that helped make our mountain weekend getaway just perfect!
