Stayed for on site wedding. Room was nice and clean and staff was helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

Amazing amazing amazing! I loved everything about the hotel. The rooms were big, spacious, clean, comfortable, the balcony was a plus and the restaurant near the main lobby had a great bartender; that made our drinks extra good! Also, parking was fairly easy to find and the hotel location was perfectly located close to Manhattan! I would recommend just double checking and confirming the room type you are booking, since there are many different options and room styles! I would stay here over & over again 🌸!

This is actually in a boutique hotel. Heater was not working on arrival but did get fixed quickly. No complaints.

We Love The Box House! As a former NYC resident, it's not easy to find a spot that feels like home when returning to the city. Much less, a spot that feels nicer than home! This was my second stay at The Box House, and I don't think I'll be booking anywhere else for future trips back to the city. They are easily my #1 choice. The rooms are sparkling clean, beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, and have great views of the city. It's so lovely to come back to a hotel at the end of a long day, and to be taken care of by staff who truly care. I'm just as happy going out as I am staying in, which I think is the mark of a truly great place. Thank you, Box House Hotel! See you soon. :)

Cool place to stay in Harlem! Retro claw foot tub and bathroom sink. Interesting architecture, high ceilings, cool staircase. The room itself had a nice little radio. Downstairs is a parlor area with books and music playing. Easily accessible from subway. Close to the Apollo theater. Within walking distance to drug store, delis, shopping, plus street food. The brownstone is on a quiet street. I slept with the windows cracked open but shutters closed and it was quiet and dark. I met the host René. He was friendly and accommodating.

The place is in a quiet neighborhood and close to the river, we always returned around midnight and felt calm walking back. The rooms are clean and just like the photos. The metro station is a 10-minute walk away. A new jacket we had bought disappeared and no one took responsibility. If there is an event or party in the hotel, a lot of noise can be heard in the rooms. In general, it was a good place to stay and we had a window with an incredible view of the city.

My stay at Hotel Indigo - Williamsburg was wonderful! The room was comfortable and clean, plus the location is great as it is right next to an MTA stop. Would definitely book again for a future trip to NYC!

Was very nice and met all of our needs! The room was much larger than expected and very nice. Bed was great! We were only there for the night after a Christmas party but we walked past the outdoor furniture and space which looked nice and there was a basketball court too. Prices were on par with the area. (We would normally have stayed with our mother in law but her house is being renovated so we tried to find the cheapest quality option nearby.) Would stay here again! I also unfortunately didn’t make it to the breakfast but the reviews mentioned how good it is so maybe next time!

I love staying at the Arlo as there is so much to do. The room was extremely clean and accommodating. The staff was friendly, efficient, and professional. There were lots of people outside as there were lots of events and activities to do. We went to a pizza space around the corner, and the food was AMAZING. If I had one downside to the Arlo, it would be the hallway has a mildew kind of smell. I assume it is the carpet. However, the smell wasn't in my room, so it was much of a bother.

Great hotel in the city — didn’t get to experience the pool since the weather wasn’t great but I did look and it was a good set up.

I loved it !!! We had a blast. When we checked in the host warned us that the room we got (802) was right above the club and could be loud , but it didn’t bother us any I slept peacefully once it was time for bed. The location was perfect! We walked to food & night life less than 5 min walk. Definitely booking again. We learned the F train is our best bet !!!

If you want something quieter but still want to be close to NY, you'll find it here. Breakfast is a 10-minute walk away and the bus takes you to the center of town in about 40 minutes. We liked it all around.

Everything was solid. 10/10. I love how literally a 5 mins walk there is a Pop-Eyes and liquor store nearby. Plus the buses are so close. Would definitely come back next year.

I found this place very convenient if you don’t want to stay in the middle of the caos of Manhattan or nearby. The host was very friendly and communicative, always answering concerns promptly. We were happy to meet the lovely dog “mancha”. I highly recommend this place.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Maria and Sara’s place! In such a busy city, their place felt like home—very cozy, calm and welcoming. The hosts were always very responsive and accommodating. The cat was incredibly friendly, too! Additionally, the local restaurants recommendations were extremely helpful! Thank you so much for having us! ❤️

This is a boutique hotel in LIC. Easy commute to nyc. Spacious room, so much better than hotels in nyc. Mostly importantly, front desk are super nice. I lived in hudson for a year and lic for a year and let me tell you there are not many friendly receptions in the city but not this one. The one who has a car helped me find a parking lot and save me her spot right outside the hotel when she left at midnight. The other person recommended food at the deli next block and it was indeed great. Will definitely stay here again just because of their help. I forgot their name, but one is an African American lady with a tesla and a great smile. The other one has a great smile too and a hijab on. Regardless, they deserve a raise!

Loved my weeklong stay at Ben’s place! Beautiful, extremely comfortable apartment that is quite large for NYC. It was an ideal base to work from during the day and come home to at night after seeing friends- so quiet, warm, and peaceful. Ben was lovely and responsive to my questions. Would 100% recommend to others and/or stay again myself. Thanks, Ben!!
