Lakeview Getaway

MarcyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
You have to experience it to believe it. The wow factor of walking into your home and seeing The Lake was so special. The drive through the onion and soy farm was such a cool experience. We knew we were somewhere special. Unique. We feel like we won an Airbnb and VRBO contest for the best and most beautiful find. It is private, more than you could ask for... deer, bald eagles, and all the other birds. The boats - not that many, but plenty to stare at. The sunsets. All 13 we saw. Every one of them was special. The house has everything you would need. A very thoughtfully laid kitchen and the baths were new and clean. They were loaded with beautiful towels and shower soaps. We had three stormy days while we were there, and we had such a memorable time. During the rest of the stay, we had the sun with us every day and beautiful September weather in the 70s. Thank you for sharing your lovely home and being a special host. We loved every minute of our adventure in Sodus. - The Burt Girls🌸

Haven Breeze

This house was exactly what we needed! We had a group of 6 for the weekend that was booked within only a couple of weeks of arriving. From booking to checking out, Alida was very responsive to any and all of our questions! This house allowed everyone some space when necessary and none of us felt like we were crowding one another. I would absolutely book with Alida again when I'm in the Rochester area!

Stunning Lake Views From This Artistic Getaway

NancyRating, 5 stars6 months ago
“Ventura Lake House “ is nothing short of magical. The cottage is so comfortable and eclectic, furniture with fascinating pieces of art made by the hosts. The living room and bedrooms were extremely comfortable as was every space on the property, inside and outdoors. The kitchen was perfectly outfitted with anything a person might need. Christine even left a special birthday treat for our son and croissants as well as many staples in the fridge. Our favorite part was sitting on an Adirondack chair just watching and listening to Lake Ontario. We will definitely be back again and again. So grateful that Christine and Paul offer this beautiful place — and their many creative talents — for others to enjoy! Thank you!

Serenity Shores

GlennRating, 5 stars7 months ago
My family and I attended our niece's wedding nearby in Victor. There were 10 of us staying, so we needed a place to stay that could accommodate all of us. Serenity Shores was perfect. Plenty of room, peaceful, beautiful view of the lake, spacious enough for all of us to get ready for the wedding. Then such a relaxing place to hang out and rest for a couple of days before heading home. The only issue we had was there only being a spiral staircase between upstairs and downstairs. My 84 year old mother was with us and couldn't do the spiral staircase. Upstairs is level with the driveway/parking, but with the kitchen being downstairs, it was better for her to stay down there. It worked out, there is a path that goes down a hill on the outside of the house to a patio and sliding doors. The path is loose stone, so we held on to mom while she walked down. It wasn't much of a problem, Mom loved the place. Just an FYI. Bottom line, 5 stars. Our family made some great memories.

We stayed in this gorgeous home with our 3 kids. The location is breathtaking, the house is beautifully designed, very well equipped and very welcoming host who was very responsive and communicate everything we needed to know. Everything was absolutely perfect and we can’t wait to return there in our next vacation to the area. Highly recommended!

Sweet Retreat-Bristol Mountain Unit B

AliciaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The place looked exactly like the photos. It was beautiful, clean and had wonderful views of the mountain. It was walkable to Bristol but that's weather dependent and if you already had a lift ticket. If you had one you could hop right into a lift once you got to the mountain. The fireplace did not work and the caretaker did not respond to outreach. It was the main bummer of the place because of course you want a fireplace for apres ski! The kitchen had all the cookware needed but didn't have much outside of coffee and some creamer. We would definitely go back!

Our family (including our two dogs) had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The space was spacious, making it perfect for relaxing and spreading out. The location was ideal—peaceful neighborhood with convenience to the event we are attending, shopping centers, and restaurants. The host was incredibly communicative, always quick to respond and offer helpful information. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay!
