Tiny house vacation rentals in East Kootenay

We were looking for a quaint, small town feel in the mountains away from all of the tourism and this was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was super cute, and the location was so quiet and peaceful. The mountain view was stunning. We watched the sunset and barbecued and it was wonderful. The stars were also some of the best ones ive ever seen, with a really big view of the sky and no light pollution. Bev and Allen were great, very responsive and suggested a nearby location to go see the salmon spawn, which was an amazing experience. We were only there for a night, but it felt very homey. Very close to both radium and golden, which are beautiful. Compared to other places ive rented in the mountains, this was a great deal. We will certainly stay here again if we’re in the area :)

Awesome rustic cabin! The bus was an unique kitchen experience! The solar shower is great, but make sure you use it during the day or it can be a little chilly at night! The private beach at the end of the trail, just past the cabins is a must see. Overall it was a great experience!

Adam is a friendly host who generally answers right away to the messages. He was very kind and offered to upgrade us to the Fisherman cabin, which became available while we were on our way to his place. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We used the sink in the bus only to wash our hands. We had our own kitchen utensils and portable stove, so we did not use the bus kitchen. We enjoyed showering in the woods. It was a fun experience!

This location is heaven on earth! You fall asleep to trillions of stars and you wake up to a beautiful view of the foothills. Tamara’s little cabin is absolutely 5 star accommodation with an outhouse to match! I look forward to the next time we visit. Thank you 😊

It was exactly like Ed Sheeran's song - Perfect. Dreamy, cosy and wonderful for the 2 of us. There was hot water, wifi, hot tub and a fire pit. Everything was as described and we had a lot of fun by the river, beneath the starlit sky and the fire. The views are amazing and the bed was comfortable too. loved loved loved our stay here. we didn't mind the drive either. We needed peace and this cabin gave us exactly that!

Beautiful mountain get away! The tiny home is the perfect level of cozy with creative and thoughtful details throughout. It’s modern, bright and really well laid out. It’s easy walking distance to the cute little town. We walked to the local brewery and came back for a hot tub after dinner. Super comfortable furnishings throughout. Bathroom is stunning and so is the kitchen. The guest house is a very comfortable home base after a day out of adventuring all the beauty Alberta has to offer. Thank you for having us!

This was a peaceful space that had my wife dreaming of a future house, and rock gardens. We loved our stay; would recommend 10/10! lovely indoor and outdoor spaces. Bathroom/showerhouse is separated from main, but was no issue for us.

We had the best weekend getaway in this cabin! It was so peaceful and relaxing, it was hard to leave! The huge windows provided the most beautiful view of the lake, and the whole energy of the cabin indoors made us feel cozy and right at home. It rained a bunch while we were there, which was great because we got to stay in and enjoy the space, and spent hours playing Super Mario on the old school Super Nintendo, my inner child was thriving! The cold and rain didn’t stop us either from doing lots of cold plunges; everything about the space was rejuvenating! Thanks so much for letting us stay, this was one of the most comfy cabins I’ve ever stayed in!!

My partner and I stayed here for a quick and quiet getaway from the city and this was perfect for just that. Julia was very sweet and had very clear instructions. The cabin was so cozy and had everything needed for the perfect life trip.

My husband & I along with our 2 dogs very much enjoyed our stay in the tiny homes! It has everything you would need and more! It was for sure different having the kitchen & bathroom under a separate roof but we liked & enjoyed the experience. The location & surroundings are absolutely stunning! And the private beach to top it off, wow! Loved loved that there are so many opportunities to enjoy the outdoor from the deck with the hammock, screened & heated pergola & fire pit while being up high literally beside the forest while being secluded. It was overall a spectacular & grounding experience for us. Jody & Alex were amazing hosts. Kind, responsive & helpful. A thorough welcome package was sent prior to arrival that included a list of recommendations that was very much appreciated. Will definitely keep it in our favourites list and are eager to be back!

Deb’s place is more than we could have dreamed of! Right from the moment you arrive it’s so magical and welcoming! Deb and her husband went above and beyond to meet our needs. This place is truly something special and we can’t wait to go back! We only wished we had stayed longer!

We loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Unfortunately due to the forest fires in the area we cut the stay short. Just means we will have to come back another time :). The tiny home is beautiful, clean and in the most peaceful area. We saw a couple of deer on the property and we even had a visit from a very friendly dog named Amelia!

I would highly, highly, highly recommend staying at Storm Mountain Lodge. It was one of the highlights of our spectacular trip. The staff were amazing. We enjoyed the most peaceful, delicious, and cozy dinner. My adult daughter and I sipped on special drinks (mine was smokey), as we played board games by the roaring fire, after dinner. My daughter followed that up with a soak in the clawfoot tub, in our room, as I lit the prepared fire in our cabin. It was a great place to meet and chat with others, if you wish, while at the fire pit outside or while having complimentary coffee in the main lodge. One of the other cool things about the lodge is its location. Before checking in, we explored just down the road and we stumbled upon a plaque indicating that we were at the continental divide. And, we’re crossed the Alberta/British Columbia border, just by there too. Our time at Storm Mountain Lodge was magical.

This is our second time staying at Donna’s place, it’s our favourite summer relaxing spot. Great location, private, and lots for the kids (and adults) to do.

Absolutely loved my stay at this charming mountain Airbnb! The cozy cabin was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. Waking up to the stunning views of the mountains was simply magical. Plus, it was just a short walk to town, making it easy to explore local shops and restaurants. The host was incredibly welcoming. Perfect for a peaceful getaway or a romantic retreat. Highly recommend!

Very nice place. The layout is functional for this Tiny Home and it's very cozy. Lots of outlets and lights/light switches in all the right places. The many windows with pull down blinds are great for privacy or letting natural light in. Nice appliances too, large fridge/freezer is great. Propane stove/oven is awesome. And if you want to make some food on a fire pit you can do that too! Would visit again for sure.
